Hetzer is nice. Lacks pen and engine strength, but its cute and the remote MG is quite useful. But what you would be aiming for is the Stug III, being the strongest vehicle Germany gets.
It's a common misunderstanding that the 8,8 cm KwK 36 L/56 used in the Tiger is the very same gun as the 8.8 cm Flak 36, but it isn't. They are similar, and are both originally from Krupp, and some of the ammo was interchangeable, but the Acht-Acht is an earlier design, on which - admittingly - the KwK was based. But not the same gun.
the this helped me out a lot I have the M10 Wolverine and I was getting killed all the time but after watching your tankers guide it helped me take out more tanks mainly the one that was getting me the most (Panther)
True dedication when a UA-camr is still replying to comments on a video that is a little under a year old! Good work! Also, how does one avoid being blitzkrieg'ed while playing as US against Germany? All to often I find that in my Stuart, German tanks will surround our spawn pretty much and completely destroy our armor.

Im not sure what you exactly mean by Blitzkreig, but if you are talking about getting spawn camped by multiple tanks, you just need to stop feeding them. Get a jeep as an infantry, and try to take 2 or 3 out with handheld weapon. While spawn camping tanks are busy dealing with you, some friendly on your team will spawn a tank and deal with armor. It should get easier once you unlock Chaffee
APCR (Armor Piercing Composite Rigid) / AP (Armor Piercing) for armored vehicles HE (High Explosives) for light vehicles, infantrys, Infantrys in house / buildings

Let me give you a bit of a short backstory, picked up this game in mid 2015 didn't play much until recently, my friend has a IS-2 and I just got the tank crewman branch and have a T-38 Model 1937. But there is one problem I wasn't smart as soon as I could afford the tank crewman. I made my only infantry soldier whom is also my highest ranking a tank crewman. Now I have around 4k credits a crushed dream and a cardboard box with a smg taped to it. My point here is, how do I effectively use the T-38? I understand it's weak, all the armor is next to paper thin, and the gun is also nothing more than a disappointment. I've been using it as a cover "sniper" for infantry advancing on an objective, hanging out in the shrubbery and long distancing all opponents. Is this a valid strategy? All my friends and teammates say that I'm supposed to be an infantry transport, meaning I'm supposed to be on the frontline mowing down enemies and being a shield for the team. This however doesn't work out as even a panzerkauft? The bazooka that lies around for anyone to take, can 2 shot the T-38, hand grenades can also take it out and a single sticky can wipe it off the face of the earth. How is it supposed to be used? Am I doing something wrong? Is my strategy probably my best chance until I unlock something better? Thanks in advance.
Hello, I bought the german tankist, and I start with Pz 1. However, after playing I managed to collect enough xp and cash to buy Pz 3. But I can't spawn it in a battle. Does that have to do anything with the fact that I am rank 2?
Luftan, can you teach me how to play well with Pz 3? I have a hard time using it as I only have AP round. It seems impossible to penetrate enemy tanks while i always get 2 shot kills by enemy tanks...

I know I'm bumping an old video, but I just unlocked the tiger 2 and I was wondering what is better to do, angle my tank or go head on against pershings and is-2's. If a angling is better, what degree should my angle be to best bounce/armor too thick shots?
+BearScoutSNIPER you really shouldnt worry about angling that much, esspecially since APCR has now been added to heavy tanks. Just keep your front faced towards an enemy, and that should be good enough.
Good that I played World of tanks :D i know what is a lower plate which helps a load, And also HE could penetrate tanks , especially at the rear meaning a big cannon could easily penetrate a HE in a lightly armoured tank which usually killed the crew or damaged the tank enough so it couldn't do shit or even ammo racked the tank would blow up from it's own ammo. HE would also be used to penetrate APC so the shell would blow up inside and kill everyone. As you can see on the PZ 4 it has side skirts and turret skirts to defend from HE but in this game they are useless i guess. For example the Hellcat would be a juicy target for HE shells because it has pretty much no armour of course in some spots you wouldn't penetrate but if you did it would destroy the tank almost instantly

I wished they changed the matchmaking of the tanks in-game. I hate fighting Chaffees in my 38t. Maybe like this: Tier 1: Pz1, Pz2, Pz38t, M2A4, M5 Stuart, T-38, T-26, BT-7 Tier 2: Pz3, Hetzer, Chaffee, M3 Lee, M4 Sherman, T-34-76 Tier 3: Pz IV, Tiger, King Tiger, Sherman E8, Hellcat, Pershing, T-34-85, SU-85, IS-2
Paladin Colt I really have no complaints about armor balance post walker, it used to be a lot worse... but my Pz4 can now pen and destroy E8s quite easily...
Luftangreifer I know, but if you read the descriptions of the tanks, like for the T-34-85 and SU-85 for example, it says that these tanks were meant to fight Tigers, but in-game, they'll never get to fight Tigers because of their match making. Plus adding some Medium Tanks to fight the Heavy Tanks adds more of a realism into the game

I would also like to mention the difference between the sounds of AT mines being planted on the tank and just two or three sinlge bullets being shot right in your butt. They can sound very similar but definitely definitely different

+George Ciubotariu Panther is better at evading infantry than king tiger. It has more mobility. King tiger bounces bazooka quite reliably, but is easy pray for handheld anti tank explosives. I'd say get both if you have the money. King tiger is definitely the best heavy in game, and will perform well against enemy armor. Panther first though. It's just easier to use.

First, PAnzer.2 L can kill Stuart with 1 whole clip (10 rounds), granted they all penetrate. If you have your front faced towards the Luchs, you will definitely bounce 2-3 shells mid-long range. And as a tier 3 tank, your counterpart is BT-7 and 35t. Luchs is a tier 4 tank, so its US counter part is Chaffee which is undoubtedly the best light tank out there... period.
I've got a question concerning both of the Soviet medium tanks. I often have problems hitting enemy tanks/infantry that are at the same height level as I am because the gun can't shoot below a certain height. Is there any way to counter that other than just driving up a hill? I already got destroyed many times by hetzers which were standing directly in front of me just because the gun of my tank always shot over them...
+Flo B. Nope, thats one of the biggest disadvantage you`ll get for playing Sov medium. Like you said, use the terrain, and dont be too aggressive. T34/85 with only its turret sticking out is a tough nut to crack. Not to mention its 85mm which has base dmg to easily 2hk any medium.

i think hellcat is best tank in game desptie it having little armor i was barely able to penetrate its armor with AP shells with my panzerwagen 3but on other hand it was super effective against me and even with panzer 4 and hezter it still took me 2 shots to kill it .

Two tanks works very differently. Even as a tier 3 light tank, 38t is very good, well balanced. Luchs has the biggest firepower/time when compared to other lights, but it lacks penetration and range capability. If you like flanking, and ambushing enemy up close, id say Luchs.

dude, with m2a2 light tank , you almost can't penetrate any tank except other light tanks, but very hard...I suggest you get chaffee and then easy eight/hellcat. But what were you doing that you didn't buy stuart? It's a must for tanker
I know this is old but maybe someone will answer. So i started playing heroes and generals some days ago and I really like it. I would spend 20 € to buy the tank package from the shop for sovjets. I don't have the tanker class bought yet. Can I still use the tanks then? Also- can I make good profit while playing tank or does it fck my bilance?
tip: unlocked the first anerican tank? don't forget, it is not a tank. It is more like a mobile bunker, no cannons, only high caliber automatic weapons. You can't even take down enemy light armor from behind if you don't have ap rounds. The armor of your tank is probably thinner than russian bt-7 tank's rear armor so stay away from any danger for a german tanks can easily take you down even in front armor.
For me the worst part is the fighters with tiny ass 20mm which destroy my tank wayyy too quick, I play Russian tanks only and I haven't unlocked War mode so I'm constantly against the Americans which are easy but it seems like no one on the Russian faction flies planes, so there's always like 5 planes in the sky and the maps are all super open making it impossible to avoid them
Know what suck? now if you buy a new tank it only come with AP rounds, no HE like before, and yes i know that it is because of the spamming onto capture points, but what about tank destroyers? now they are defenseless to AT infantry D:
24 hour is certainly not worth it, the month long variant costs about 6 time as much but obviously lasts 30 times longer, the 90 day of course is an even better deal

You might forgot this useful tip is to angle your tank, turn your tank till your turret reach to the top of the track.

+Ryse TV Stuart has bigger caliber gun that fires 1 she'll at the time. It works differently.
But why, its not balanced at all.PZ2 Can kill me like 2 round shots.But ı can only kill PZ2 with 4-5 shots and also their reload time faster than Stuart.This is bullshit.
First, PAnzer.2 L can kill Stuart with 1 whole clip (10 rounds), granted they all penetrate. If you have your front faced towards the Luchs, you will definitely bounce 2-3 shells mid-long range.
And as a tier 3 tank, your counterpart is BT-7 and 35t. Luchs is a tier 4 tank, so its US counter part is Chaffee which is undoubtedly the best light tank out there... period.

PanzerIV is really good after the armor patch. I have no issue dealing with E8s now. Chaffee is a different sorry, but handcap can sometimes be fun.
I've got a question concerning both of the Soviet medium tanks. I often have problems hitting enemy tanks/infantry that are at the same height level as I am because the gun can't shoot below a certain height. Is there any way to counter that other than just driving up a hill? I already got destroyed many times by hetzers which were standing directly in front of me just because the gun of my tank always shot over them...
+Flo B. Nope, thats one of the biggest disadvantage you`ll get for playing Sov medium. Like you said, use the terrain, and dont be too aggressive. T34/85 with only its turret sticking out is a tough nut to crack. Not to mention its 85mm which has base dmg to easily 2hk any medium.

i think hellcat is best tank in game desptie it having little armor i was barely able to penetrate its armor with AP shells with my panzerwagen 3but on other hand it was super effective against me and even with panzer 4 and hezter it still took me 2 shots to kill it .

Two tanks works very differently. Even as a tier 3 light tank, 38t is very good, well balanced.
Luchs has the biggest firepower/time when compared to other lights, but it lacks penetration and range capability. If you like flanking, and ambushing enemy up close, id say Luchs.

The M10 is tier one, not the hellcat. The hellcat is a tier 2 tank destroyer.

Ivar Veld no, you should always keep atleast 1 soldier as infantry at all times. Purchase another soldier, and then grow as a recon :3

dude, with m2a2 light tank , you almost can't penetrate any tank except other light tanks, but very hard...I suggest you get chaffee and then easy eight/hellcat. But what were you doing that you didn't buy stuart? It's a must for tanker
M2a2 makes you rank up much faster, grind to hellcat

I don't have the tanker class bought yet. Can I still use the tanks then? Also- can I make good profit while playing tank or does it fck my bilance?

If you are foot at it, you will make good money. Vice-versa.

tip: unlocked the first anerican tank? don't forget, it is not a tank. It is more like a mobile bunker, no cannons, only high caliber automatic weapons. You can't even take down enemy light armor from behind if you don't have ap rounds. The armor of your tank is probably thinner than russian bt-7 tank's rear armor so stay away from any danger for a german tanks can easily take you down even in front armor.
well, at least it has a 50. cal and can pen a few tanks (pretty much the panzer 1/2 and t38)

For me the worst part is the fighters with tiny ass 20mm which destroy my tank wayyy too quick, I play Russian tanks only and I haven't unlocked War mode so I'm constantly against the Americans which are easy but it seems like no one on the Russian faction flies planes, so there's always like 5 planes in the sky and the maps are all super open making it impossible to avoid them

Know what suck? now if you buy a new tank it only come with AP rounds, no HE like before, and yes i know that it is because of the spamming onto capture points, but what about tank destroyers? now they are defenseless to AT infantry D:

24 hour is certainly not worth it, the month long variant costs about 6 time as much but obviously lasts 30 times longer, the 90 day of course is an even better deal
