hey, can you please do a video about using the shell / cross guard against a southpaw? had some trouble with the southpaw lead (right) hook in sparring today.

It's just problematic in general. Id imagine it was the double left straight?

​@@SouthpawJoeit's just simple lead hook (with the right for a southpaw) maybe I should slip to the left more while circling left and maybe my shell was not tight. Just wondering if there are specific adjustments against southpaws.

I like the feint but the hands need to go up after the punch or you’ll do it that way in a fight and get hit

He uses the shell after that, the shoulder comes up expecting the counter. Boxers who use the shell gamble like that.

i sometimes use the faint of terrible morales with the right hand then left hook or right hand upper change it to right hand hook Terrible Morales has some amazing faints too
