What is the wind tunnel in rallies. Due to the limited track testing time that WRC teams have, the wind tunnel has gained great relevance in recent years. In this video we put models of rally cars in a wind tunnel, to analyze their aerodynamics and see if it affects elements such as the spoiler, the diffuser or the splitter. We tested a wind tunnel at the University of Tarragona with a Subaru impreza STI 22B WRC, several Subaru Impreza 555, including a safari rally version and even a Citroen C3 WRC with which we can change its aerodynamic configuration. We take the spoiler off and on to see how much downforce it generates at different speeds.
We prepared the SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI Gr.A for the Reocín Rallysprint, our first rally test in Cantabria 💪 but our car had a brake problem and we couldn't repair it.
The next rally we are going to run is the REOCÍN RALLYSPRINT, a rally in Cantabria. After putting the asphalt kit on the SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI Gr.A we have run some loose asphalt rally tests, we started at the Nueno Rallysprint, we continued with the Empordà Rally and the Legend les CORBES Rally. With these 3 rallies we did not do any tests, and in the end I began to notice that the car braked too much from the rear, the distributor must have been incorrectly configured. In the last video the metal brake hose broke, and when repairing it we discovered that the rear brake bleeders had broken. We couldn't bleed properly, and although we repaired the drive shaft, the race car doesn't brake.
Now we are going to Cantabria, without knowing if the car will ever stop, but we are going to the workshop of Manuel Mora's Subaru preparer, so we may find the solution.
To finish the ASPHALT KIT we have put some 355mm AP RACING COMPETITION BRAKES, the ones Manuel Mora used in his rally Subaru. In this video we have just assembled the asphalt kit with the brakes, suspensions and tires.
In this video I go to the Factor Lambda workshop to explain how to assemble new competition brakes, with their stub axles and suspensions. We're going to test the brakes and then do some drifts.
Guillem acquires some asphalt suspensions to begin the asphalt set up. In this way he will be able to do both gravel and asphalt rallies.
Guillem is not new to asphalt rallies, in 2016 he ran the Aragon asphalt rally championship, being runner-up in Class 1 of Asphalt rallies and achieving 3rd place overall in the Mixed cup.

El alerón de subaru que me gusta a mi , el wrc , grande pero lo que le diferencia es que en el hueco de dentro del aleron y unas placas que lo dividen en 5 huecos y lo hace un aleron grande e imponente

Esta interesante ésos datos sobre la aerodinámica pero me esperaba algo como la miniatura con el humo, ver como genera vórtices en la parte trasera se ve genial.
Sobre poner aleron al subaru, pues ojalá y no te digan que no puedes usarlo en competencia

Yo tengo el Mondeo ranchera sin alerón de 2015 y el aire no le levanta al contrario se agarra al suelo cuando había tormenta

Enterado, ahora solo me faltan la densidad del aire y el área frontal de los coches 😅. ¿La densidad del aire es una cantidad fija de unidades, o eso hay que calcularla según la altura sobre el nivel del mar?. La verdad, podría hacer esto yo mismo, pero... detalles ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Y en lugar de calcular el área frontal, se suele usar el producto Cd x Af, así se incluye forma y superficie en el valor final
