I drove The Pacific Coast Highway from Eureka to San Francisco in a pickup truck in 1982. What a gorgeous trip.
I was just there from the 14th - 16th of October for my 10 Year anniversary with my wife! I love Monterey, thanks for doing a video on it!

I grew up in Santa Cruz (actually lived in the condos on the bluff over New Brighton Beach in the 70s... you showed them in one of the drone views) and know most of that area really well! The WX and the beauty of the nature there is the only thing I miss about Santa Cruz now!

Nice! Yes, summertime on the coast tends to be on the cool side. From Santa Cruz you can take the 9 up into the mountains for warmer weather and the redwoods. Can’t miss out on the redwoods!

Oh man Sept I drove the 1 101 from Washington to Monterey Bay...the lodge we had reservations on north Tahoe was shut down for that fire.

Canada to Mexico that is one heck of a beautiful road. You sir are a very good host/tour guide. I can enjoy a good cake without frosting no problem, however eye candy is like really good frosting ?.
They say there are 900k new RV users since the pandemic started. It is definitely harder to find overnight spots. $120 a night is high.
Visited that area many times. Love the drive through Big Sur, but my wife insisted on only going north, never south, so she could be on the inside, not the outside, of the road.
That part of the beach is usually way to cold for me. Head to the central CA coast you’ll 😍 it
Bobby in my humble opinion you should go more into an off road-ish trailer and do more off grid set up. You seem to be more of an off road guy as opposed to rv travel

My wife and I dream was to acquire a motor home and travel around like you are doing. But I lost my job as operation manager for a company during COVID pandemic, I wanted to work another 3 years but everything changed. So I had to go ahead and retire earlier than I wanted. May not be able to travel like we wanted but we sure enjoy watch Glamping Doodles. Also enjoy watch Sailing Doodles we’ve had 3 sailboats on lakes here in Arkansas over the years when we were much younger. Please keep the videos coming. Does none of the pretty woman not want to ride around with you in the motor home? They probably think this lifestyle is for older people and to slow a pace for them!

Hope you paid a visit to Grey Whale Cove State Park near Half Moon Bay. Probably my favorite state beach in the US.
checked out their menu at Paradise Beach Grille. Looks good. Have been to the aquarium several times, and want to go back now to see the jellies. Waiting to see if you make it up to Napa, my home town.

Petrol prices in the US are cheap! Currently in Melbourne, Australia it is A$1.80/litre or US$6.82/gal - and there are warnings we are heading to A$2.00/litre. Of course over 50% of the cost is tax!
I have to agree with @John Davis, that a lot of the appeal of the *Doodle channels is the interaction with others.

Hey Bobby if you come as far south as San Diego Carlsbad State Beach has a campground there that you could stay at which is pretty cool it's right on the cliffs. And my son Johnny works for two different sailing companies and could probably take you out for a sail on their boats. And that would be for free.

So cool bobby I just did the whole California coastline last summer in August on my Harley Davidson it's spectacular to do I've done it in my R V dozens of times ilove it I recognize Alot in your video I especially enjoy the coast above San Francisco great vlog I loved it it's funny 5hrs ago I watched your sailing video on the last one of the year that crew was one of the best you had perfectly balanced lived it to I'm a student pilot and miss your flying doodles I learned Alot on the different aircraft thanks for sharing this adventure

CA...... We love the environment which is why gas is so ridiculously expensive but we don't love it enough to do controlled burns to prevent the destruction of our forests, citizen's property and a few deaths every year.
Don't usually read many comments, so apologies if this has already been addressed, but on Sailing Doodles you always travel with beautiful woman. Why are you traveling solo by RV?
I think one factor is he's not allowed to use his boat thru hurricane season (b/c insurance). I would imagine he'd be open to girls joining him in "RV life" if there was interest.
