The .25 cal is great, I went the other way and got the Air Ranger Extreme and ordered it from the factory set to 60fpe. The reason i went the Extreme was for the 500cc bottle and the 23 inch barrel. With the 500cc bottle i get 40 usable shots and it is poison on the foxes out to 75 meters here in Australia which are a feral pest that are causing a lot of problems. I use the EunJin 35.8 pellets @ 875fps giving me 60.8fpe. Keep up the good videos.
I know the gun been tuned, but really 15 shots, replaced harper valve, I would like to see a chrony reports ie fill to 250 and then see the fps and spread over 15 shots. Can we see a chrony string, and some groups??... I really hope that this gun lives up to you expectations. I love you air gun addiction, keep up the good work.
LOL I would like to see a full shot string over a chronoscope, some information on energy retention at 50 yards and bullet drop from muzzle to 80 yards. Just think it would be nice to know how usable this calibre & power setting is. I'll get some beers in =) ATB Malc CPTV
KODIAK MATCH are the baracuda from H&N yes they are accurate but if you want the best from this airgun use the DAYSTATE Rangemaster bullets 6,35mm (36 grains), yoy can buy them from EBAY also
Just wondering of the new valve is as efficient as the original harper valve? Just noticed you quoted 15 shots @60fpe but a factor air ranger with a harper valve will give 25 shots @80fpe? Good video it's a lovely gun I've got a 30fpe .22 air ranger, I'm looking forward to some hunting footage! Cheers
Where I live silencers are not allowed either but the airguns with shrouded barels some how make it to the stores any how. Too bad for you since the .25 is a very lound airgun and with out a shroud may sound like a shot gun.
So what do u think of the hawks.I have a 4.12.50 and its preety good.but I will be up grading to a hawks ecplice.they r about 300 bucks.let me know what u think of yours.Alex

That is the Air Ranger Extreme that comes with a 500cc bottle, Not the 400cc bottle that is on the standard Air Ranger.
