Two thumbs up for this review. First for the down to earth kind of review with facts and concrete real life examples. Second for the Pixel Fold itself. First phone in ages I actually got exited about. The big foldable screen would be awesome for the moments when you need it instead of switching to a laptop.
I don't use pixel fold, but i like the idea of long term review of a gadget in a specific usage scenario, such as yours in marine environment and boating.
@@reversingentropy it gets tiresome trying to find a review of someone who actually uses the phone and not reeling off a bunch of specs that you’ve heard 100x so thank you!
@kavinab6629 you are very welcome. The original take was about 30 minutes of me talking about the phone but i cut it down because I thought it was very boring. You think i should upload that footage ? Cheers
Actually pretty good. Better than an iPad pro. I know this because one of the apps we use anchor alarm reports gps accuracy, the ipad sometimes drifts up to 22meters, the pixel only about 4 or 5. Hope this helps. Cheers
It's not what I mean... Sorry. What I mean is that it's not for me to judge if the phone is too expensive. If you are Rich you don't care. So the review should be on the phone Alone, I think. Cheers
Watching on my Pold after buying the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and returning it to go back to the Pold - TWICE. I want to use this device for as long as the software and hardware will allow. "...and when it breaks, I'll just buy a used one..." || I think I will look into getting a 2nd Pold within the next six months while there are still NEW ones circulating.
@2MenEQ I feel the exact same way 😂 I am praying they bring back the passport form factor on the fold 3 or 4... Please Google listen to your customers. Cheers mate.
@@reversingentropy We are both praying..Google understandably strayed away from their "prototype" passport form factor to attempt to be even more mainstream, but the P9PF feels like the slightly fatter brother to the Z Fold 6... Meanwhile Samsung is trying to stray away from their Z Fold series being such a skinny mini--hence the Z Fold 6 Special Edition. Google just needs to keep the form factor of the original Pixel Fold and focus on hardware touches here and there with emphasis on an even better camera array. I loVe the Pold. The P9PF is a beautiful feeling device...overall it looks nice...but it's too skinny. Also, the inner screen seems to stick on the P9PF. When I opened the device, you could hear the screen. I didn't like that...

@@reversingentropy 100% it's useful information on what it's like to use a foldable on a daily basis and I've subscribed so I will defo be watching 🙂
Which case is that in the carscene? Thx
Hi. It's an Amazon Case, it sucks, mine is broken.
How is the GPS accuracy?

The average person.. no, most people don’t have a billion dollars, and to say price for a phone doesn’t really matter is kind of bonkers.

@2MenEQ Totally agree. Lets hope they see the error of their ways. Cheers
