You Grandmother made an AMAZING dress! It's a beautiful simple knit and the technique she used for the skirt is amazing! It's hard to say which one is my favorite. You styled them really well but the last one is a favorite up there with the sweater dress and the floral dress from the early 90s! Your so lucky and me so jeally!
Such a lovely collection! The dress your grandma made is probably one of my favourites. I love your style. If it can help solving the 60s dresses mystery, when they don't come with a tag look at the seams, if they are stitched with an overlocker they are probably made from the 70s on, also look at the zipper: if it's metal (teeth and cursor) it's up to the 60s, if it's plastic it's from the 70s ->, if it's on the back of a dress it's probably 60s, if it's on the side it's either 40s or 50s, if it's front and centre could be 30s. Then there's the fabric of course. Of course everything is as general rule. The black and white dress has definitely 60s mod vibes, but if the zipper is plastic could as well be from the 80s... It was the first big mod revival after all. Hope it helps!
This is a wonderful video loved them all especially the one your grandma made . Thanks for sharing I loved how you styled them they fit you perfectly .
Good throw on and go pieces that is why I like dresses. Your Gma is very talented what she made was my favorite of all the dresses and I love that you are know wearing it.
Loved your collection. Loved the Freddricks of Hollywood dress. The one that your grandmother hand crocheted is priceless to you and she's a very talented lady. Loved your editing as well.
Cute dresses, I like how you just added a hat or some really cute shoes to modernize the look! Nobody would even know they're from goodwill or that they used to hang in closets long ago! You have good taste young lady!
EVERY single outfit was adorable! I wish you would've put on the black hat w/feather with the floral dress, black heels and black handbag! You look good in ALL the outfits you picked. Great style! Loved it, thanks.
loved all the looks you did. the gorgeous dress your grandma mada was knitting. the lace and velvet dress looked like something calvin klein did in the 90s
Omg the white floral dress is GORGEOUS!! And loved so much how you styled the rust colored dress 😃 Also, did you tailor them or they simply fit you perfectly? If that's the case, I'm so jealous!!
I was lucky to find them all in my size! The ones that are a little loose on me I wear with a dress cinch, a belt or sometimes they have a tie, so that helps make them fit better!
I had the captions on from another video and the first two words are "hey Emily". So funny considering what you say right after lol, but I already knew your name :P
I don't know if anyone has told you or if you know of her; I would sure think so since you look so very much like her and have an almost identical style in comparison to her, but are you familiar with Tori Amos? She is my siren and has been my muse-ical angel, my siren, since the early 90s. I am almost 40, but she is just as inspiring and awesome to me today as she always has been and is still just as magical. I see alot of her in you so I am guessing that you find some inspiration in her. If not, then get to it, lovely lady! I really enjoy your videos so much. Keep it up.
Hu?!! UMM. What the what?! the title is vintage dresses and 1980s and 90s is not vintage. Also I was hoping for vintage bags from 40-50s shoes to coordinate. Etc... accessories
@@leighkamryn vintage is technically 50s years older but lots of people been using that new definition and lots of people love 80s-00s stuff so who cares

Vintage is 20 years and older. So yes, 80's and 90's is vintage.

I hope that your expression “you guys” was a simple oversight, as most of us watching your video must certainly be women!
You guys is a unisex meaning. You must be older
