This is very true! Having a child is very emotionally, mentally, and physically challenging (financially challenging too if you also have to work). A child's life is a huge responsibility because how they're raised and cared for can affect their mental health
British humour is about making fun of people in a subtle way for things they dont show any shame for. Like if someone is always eating noisily and doesn't care, we will say "its feeding time at the zoo!" Or if someone thinks they are so much smarter than everyone else, we will call them professor in a sarcastic way! But if they have bad skin or a big nose we dont point it out to be mean, we only make fun of peoples conscious choices. Love your videos :) x

My mother is and has always been a stay at home wife/mother. She is the first one to wake up in the morning and the last one to go to the bed at night. I am not ashamed of her...in fact, she is the biggest strong independent woman I have EVER known. So proud of her!! And I personally, don't want to work full time and if I do, it would be 4-5 years maximum!!!...I am not wasting my life pleasing others who don't even care for me in the first place and want to shame me into doing what they want me to do. Ok this is gonna be long but here it goes, in the spirit of not giving a damn about others' opinion! "When you recognize your flaws, they are forgiven." ...This is it. This is why some people have such a hard time tolerating people who speak their minds boldly and honestly without inhibition. I think many people are deeply out of touch with themselves and feel ashamed and insecure with their own "flaws" and spend their lives trying to escape the reality that we are all different, and all biased...it is what makes life interesting. If you can be at peace with this, you can really live a full life. A lot of people are not at peace with this, and therefore they live in the shadow of their authentic self, forming their identity around only what they feel is acceptable by society standards. It's like this perverted obsession with avoiding any sort of conflict or disagreement, or appearing "outside the social norm." Even in kindergarten it is drilled into your brain: "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." So you have a lot of people who believe it's wrong to state your true opinion, yet acceptable to harbour it inside, poisoning their character. The irony is that suppressing your feelings doesn't mean they don't exist..and actually it still expresses itself, through resentment, envy, shame, etc...so when someone comes along who CHALLENGES the norm -- someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and be as they are, who is not concerned with outside validation to the point that they mold their personality around being socially acceptable...well this triggers the insecurity of many. "How dare she be so brazen and unashamed, while I am stuck inside this box of pleasing others before myself???" People feel threatened by this kind of energy because it IS a threat! When you are a person whose identity depends on the feedback and validation of others, encountering a person who is motivated and lives by their own views and morals and standards, having their own ideas and convictions, is deeply unsettling. Because you ARE superior! Your force comes from within, which means you are not as affected by the criticism of others. While their identity revolves around what others thinks of them! The sad part is, most people have the capacity to actually be "like you", but they just don't believe it. Or they are too attached to their little box of what is considered safe and socially acceptable behaviour...but either way, this is very much their own issue, being projected onto you. And actually, shaming or criticizing someone for being their authentic self is the MOST selfish thing you can do. Like what the fuck? We should be celebrating people who are original and honest, and encouraging them to share this energy with the world as it is infectious and inspiring! The irony... Anyway, I say f u c k modesty if it means being a subdued and diluted version of yourself just to make others comfortable. It's like that quote: "I'd rather be hated for who I am than liked for who I am not." So, stir the pot. They'll get mad.. keep stirring, stir it harder! You're doing them a favour, anyway, they just don't see it. You are comfortable being yourself, and you inspire others to be comfortable being themselves, and that is such a beautiful thing. Ok this is gonna be long but here it goes, in the spirit of not giving a damn about others' opinion!
"When you recognize your flaws, they are forgiven." ...This is it. This is why some people have such a hard time tolerating people who speak their minds boldly and honestly without inhibition. I think many people are deeply out of touch with themselves and feel ashamed and insecure with their own "flaws" and spend their lives trying to escape the reality that we are all different, and all biased...it is what makes life interesting. If you can be at peace with this, you can really live a full life. A lot of people are not at peace with this, and therefore they live in the shadow of their authentic self, forming their identity around only what they feel is acceptable by society standards.
It's like this perverted obsession with avoiding any sort of conflict or disagreement, or appearing "outside the social norm." Even in kindergarten it is drilled into your brain: "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." So you have a lot of people who believe it's wrong to state your true opinion, yet acceptable to harbour it inside, poisoning their character. The irony is that suppressing your feelings doesn't mean they don't exist..and actually it still expresses itself, through resentment, envy, shame, etc...so when someone comes along who CHALLENGES the norm -- someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and be as they are, who is not concerned with outside validation to the point that they mold their personality around being socially acceptable...well this triggers the insecurity of many. "How dare she be so brazen and unashamed, while I am stuck inside this box of pleasing others before myself???"
People feel threatened by this kind of energy because it IS a threat! When you are a person whose identity depends on the feedback and validation of others, encountering a person who is motivated and lives by their own views and morals and standards, having their own ideas and convictions, is deeply unsettling. Because you ARE superior! Your force comes from within, which means you are not as affected by the criticism of others. While their identity revolves around what others thinks of them!
The sad part is, most people have the capacity to actually be "like you", but they just don't believe it. Or they are too attached to their little box of what is considered safe and socially acceptable behaviour...but either way, this is very much their own issue, being projected onto you. And actually, shaming or criticizing someone for being their authentic self is the MOST selfish thing you can do. Like what the fuck? We should be celebrating people who are original and honest, and encouraging them to share this energy with the world as it is infectious and inspiring! The irony...
Anyway, I say f u c k modesty if it means being a subdued and diluted version of yourself just to make others comfortable. It's like that quote: "I'd rather be hated for who I am than liked for who I am not."
So, stir the pot. They'll get mad.. keep stirring, stir it harder! You're doing them a favour, anyway, they just don't see it. You are comfortable being yourself, and you inspire others to be comfortable being themselves, and that is such a beautiful thing. Fuck the haters! Mad respect to you, always!

People keep telling me that I’m funny, when in fact I don’t actually wanna be funny, so I totally get what you mean. I think people like me, who are apparently funny without knowing it, are the funniest 🤣 I’ve struggled with my personality a lot when I was a teen. I felt like people weren’t taking me seriously sometimes, because I say things how I say it and people find it funny. But now I think this is a personality trait that many would want to have but don’t, and I’m always appreciated outside at a party or something, people tend to have a pretty good time hanging out with me. So I made peace with my weird personality a long time ago 😊 I really like you, you tell it how it is and you are right - once you admit your flaws you are forgiven! 😘
