I was wondering to what extent growing up without much love has affected your parenting style. You seem to be a loving & affectionate mother. I grew up in an emotionally devoid home / homes without much love & affection and I find myself always going the extra mile to make sure that my kids never ever get to know what it feels like. While my friends who had a more stable & secure childhood are quite chilled out when it comes to their kids. I find them putting their own needs first without batting an eye.
