I would love to enter a lobby where half lay down and just stay there, I might actually be able to finish some missions and not get rolled all the time...

Zombies will be more of your style and not DMZ. Most DMZ community likes the unpredictability real players brings to the game.. If the lobbies are dead because of AFK players then there is no threat.
I used to play DMZ solo almost exclusively. It was fun, and yes, I would run into others all the time but people were cool and just did their thing. I think those who couldn't hack WZ came over and turned it into a crap fest. They could easily make another instance that only allows you to enter as a solo and not group up. You can still coordinate with others, but because there are no teams, friendly fire is now a consideration.

these guys don't care what you want or think. they're desperate for Content, even mediocre content. I really enjoy watching the streams, but it's the same thing EVERY single Day. That's why I strayed away from Warzone to begin with
You still have Ashika island if you’re looking for constant PVP. I don’t really see this being an issue. Most people probably haven’t finished their missions, so the constant getting PvP right off the rip could be causing a drop in player count more than AFK farming
this is prob coincidental but the last three times i played ashika i didn't fight a single player. regardless it feels more dead rn even when you do have combat
Ashika was out of control because all of the UAVs. Now that those have been nerfed, Ashika is actually playable again
I firmly believe these rolling death squads are killing the mode far more than the AFK farmers.
Why u worried about what other people are doing? Let people play the game any way they want.
Let them farm and be AFK, if i wanted extensive PvP fighting i would drop into Warzone or other multi-player game modes. I like the more chill and less PvP action of DMZ. Its the reason i started and keep playing CoD. Me and my daughter who is getting used to playing FPS games, like the exploring and doing missions on the map and small Bot engagements. Its great for recreational and newer players. Go play ranked or Warzone for the competitive aggressive PvP action. Let casual players have their fun too. And the shorter and shorter Battle pass seasons might be part of the farming as well. When you work 50-60hrs a week and have additional stuff to fix do and maintain at home it really cuts into play time and with Battle pass XP based on play time, it's easy to see whybit drives people to AFK while they taking care of other tasks at home or work.
Dmz has pvp for a reason and a lot of missions call for killing other operators...
@anonheithcliff yea I'm fully aware of that. However, it's a secondary aspect of DMZ, not the primary. I didn't say remove it, or I didn't like/want it at all. I was simply saying that the reduction and lesser or more casual PvP is preferred. But to each their own, this is just simply my personal view and opinion on the matter. Nobody said you or anyone has to agree or like it, opinions are great because we all have them and bring different views to a situation. So with that, have a great rest of the day and have fun playing CoD, however you choose to play.
@@davidthomas7555 your opinion is why dmz is quickly dying. Instead of participation in the "learning curve" people complained and now DMZ's in the state that it is. No one is doing missions, pvp and back to the lobby now. I play solo 95%of the time now because what's the point of having team mates when one is off afk, and the other is a newb with only basic understanding of how DMZ works, won't pick up a 3 plate u ping, gets killed and begs for u to come revive them in the middle of a 4 man squad. So now I solo hunt and kill all operators that come into sight.

People cry about the bots only because they run in the open with no cover and get downed multiple times a game. When in all actuality if dmz was only pve. the game mode would already be dead.
I dont see a problem with it, i constantly run solo to do missions and passive unlocks but im constantly getting killed by squads that are only running around killing players. The biggest problem is the rolling death squads that are just running around killing players and moving on to kill more
That's also vondel doing the same, They act like they are tough and they kill for as you said "running around killing players" some dudes needs to learn respect and yknow let people continue doing their stuff as opposite team would do the same
But as soon as I kill one of them, they PLEA after i asked them if they wanna team up when i was solo, they. Really. Have. No. Positivity. Just toxicity and killing players when they want to do missions or passive upgrades

I matchmaked with some random and got two Chinese. They got a helo and bought another squad to kill and loot me. This is what they do. The other squad standing on the sides romped me. Stupid me ran to board the chopper. 😂
Fine by me, less people pushing my passive asss, but in my opinion I think sweats ruin dmz, especially a 4 man team that target solos like myself, really wish there was a solo game mode version.
This is really on the devs more than the player base, if they made the pass more performance based then people wouldn't have to resort to afking
I don't think that's entirely honest though, CoD's battle pass is already pretty easy to level up, around 30 mins of game time per token or level, you can complete it in less than 2 weeks by just playing a couple hours a day; or in a month with just an hour per day.
It's 100% on the players not having the patience to get that sweet Spawn with a cape ASAP.
Other BP Games with different systems, based on challenges or points, like Apex, take forever to level up
It doesn't have to be either/or. There can be a static amount of xp provided by time spent in the game while also increasing xp gains in respect to what was accomplished in a given match. Also if it is so easy to do, why are there so many people afk farming then?@@alejoSOTOful

Games do feel less lively, probably many people got bored of PVP and decided doing missions and their own stuff. Having said that, I don't even see a point of leveling up the Battle pass. If you like and play the game in the mode that you like, you'll eventually get it all.

Players aren't quitting because of the team size difference. We're quitting because teams run around with the only intention of killing players not doing missions. Like you in this video. You came in to hunt players not do missions
The same people that complain about dmz hunters, are the same ones that as soon as they are on your team (seeing that you are a good player) they want to be toxic. I played all night with random last night with the intention of just helping them do missions and gear up. They complained about ppl ruining their missions. I would ask what they wanted help with and they all said "i dont know." As soon as one team pushes us and loses to us, the next five games they want to push everyone and camp bodies. The only difference between the ppl that only pvp and the ppl who complain about pvp is the ability to do it

I hunt squads and have picked up a many “mission runners” for them to immediately pick up a hunt squad contract. Everyone is a mission runner when they are dead.

You can’t team up. So other players might as well just be a boss fight. Players hold the best and rarest loot. Being friendly there’s a chance they’ll just kill you. If I kill you it’s a zero percent chance and I don’t have to worry about anything
I get it being annoying but as a dad and working full time its the only way I can get the battlepass done so I have the stuff to play with in the precious time I can actually play. I do only go in solo so not to take up a team slot though.

That's probably why there always seem to be hunts left at final, but no-one else shows up
Hunt contracts will remain on the map even if you're the last squad left. They changed it a little while ago.

@@cuplaxi from what I have seen in my last few games (a few hours ago) it doesn't work like you say. If there are hunt contracts on the map and the last team leaves the contract disappears or grays out if it is pinged by your team (I notice it since I tend to always ping at least 1 hunt contract for this very reason when the game timers gets low)
Not sure why he's complaining about issues with player base. I'm in the U.S. and play at all hours and have had ZERO issue finding a match in the same time I always have since DMZ came out. And if somehow there is a player base drop... I don't know... maybe it's because the 6man pre-made are crying cause now they can't own everyone in the lobby as an OP 6man? Maybe it's because DMZ has received ZERO new content with Season 6 and people are just bored?
Maybe it's because people like you and so many other streamers... pop into DMZ to just kill other players... FFS... DMZ was supposed to be about PVE and PVP, but since PVP is so easy on DMZ, content creators come swarming into the mode and just ruin the fun of the casual players who care more about doing missions. IMO... these players should go play fkn WarZone where it's strictly PVP... but of course they won't because that would require them to do more work and they'd rather farm the easier kills.

Dmz is becoming a ghost town due to people who just pvp only 1 man can be revived outta a squad, so people just leaving the game, I said it once an say it again pvp is gonna kill dmz, funny one init, too many bad wz players playing dmz, the warzone rejects I like to call them
For me personally as a solo it’s frustrating trying to do missions and constantly having teams of 3 or 4 coming at you. It wouldn’t bother me if half the lobby was afk, people are probably fed up of being outnumbered and killed nearly every game.
The thing that will kill DMZ is the pro teams going around killing solos and newer players with hunt contracts camping infils or whatever. All those people will be leaving for zombies permanently.
I know a few of us that are. The PvP has gotten out of hand, can’t complete missions to progress in my faction’s due to players sitting in spots hard to see and even harder to assault, 4 man hunt teams and teams that know where you are no matter where you might be hiding. It has become a toxic experience for those of us that want to enjoy something more casual than WZ or MP. Me and my gaming buddies have lived this stuff in real life, all we want to do at the end of the day is just chill, drop in, do some missions, maybe a little PvP, get geared up for another mission, and exfil. So yes those I play with are leaving when zombies come and not looking back.

The first time the game doesn’t feel enjoyable any more at all. The bots are crazy , I feel like constant have to fight like 10000 bots all the time. Plus the players. I had to report 2 players today first time in ages , they were hacking.

My buddy had to go out of state for work and when he got back there was only three days left on the battle pass so he went from 37% to 100% in three days of AFKing you guys have to remember some people have lives and can’t dedicate every day to playing so they gotta do what they gotta do 👍🏻✌🏻
There are FULL lobbies of AFK in Warzone resurgence maps... A couple afk players in DMZ isn't a big deal. Less for us who actually do missions to worry about.

DMZ feels so empty right now. sometimes i go the hole game without seeing a single player. Also i have noticed its taking alot longer to find a match. makes me feel like im playing on the shadow ban server
The lobbies are dead because of people that want use dmz to play warzone. With their Cronus or Aimbots ,wall hacks accounts killing people that want to do missions. What the hell does them going afk has to do with you? If you want a sweaty fight go try WZ.
My main issues with DMZ are the laughable amounts of armor that allow all the unskilled camper bots to pretty much hold down powerpositions for the entire match without any major risk of getting wiped.
takes 3-4 shots even with the most powerful sniper setups to down a 3 plate player and typically a further 2 shots to finish them while they are already downed without any armor protecting them. good luck getting them followups aswell when they set up camp on top of a roof with several layers of concrete covering them.
I really hope that they will add a solo mode aswell as a hardcore experience where armor is limited to 1 plate couse right now pvp is simply no fun anymore

Because most of the missions (the main point of dmz) require other players to actually be playing the game and you to kill other players and take their loot (which is the other point of dmz) If you suck at pvp you suck at Call of Duty. Go play minecraft creative mode and stop crying sissy

I only attack players who a) surprise me or b) shoot first. I always try and res them after as well.
I do exactly the same, if I hear he has teams I leave right away to let them res him, or I pick them up if they plea, I never shoot anybody even if they try to snipe me, not getting killed is far more exiting for me rather than shooting people from the back or sneak up on them. And if they push and they get killed, oh I’m hacking, all i have is an old ps4 that allows me to play like 6 games before it heats up and goes off 😂

I haven't seen any dead lobby's playing in the evening and night time but playing during the day yeah they're pretty chill. So just food for thought. I don't expect you to change your streaming schedule or start playing at night time but maybe off-stream give it a shot it's not the same as is in the morning. 😎👊

Honestly I farm my battle pass but I actually play the game because you get a lot of xp for hunting bosses doing missions and getting cash and loot I finish the battle pass by playing normally rather fast and get to enjoy my dmz and do missions
Obviously, the game should reward kills and finishing missions rather than staying alive as long as possible
In my opinion, I think DMZ is almost perfect right now, and the biggest problem it faces that makes it feel dead is the Koschei complex exfil glitch where u just dash board and keep everything. So rare to have a fight on final exfil. I like the koschei element and that you could potentially escape a difficult situation.. But it shouldn't be for free and keep all your stuff. You can already call personal exfils, that and the 4 extra doors out is just too much with that glitch not being patched out.
It’s a software issue. They’re not fixing it.

So many comments thinking this is a problem because it reduces PVP... If you have watched my content then you know a huge percentage of it is being friendly with other players. One of the things that makes DMZ special is the unknown interaction with other players, friend or foe, and dramatically reducing those interactions seriously hurts the overall player base. Regardless of how you play DMZ, AFK players are a direct reduction of player base and thus a clear problem for the game mode as a whole.

Pretty sure the drop in players has more to do with the fact that there's no new missions or anything. Not being able to get picked up isn't a big deal, we just leave and start again. (It's an extraction shooter after all - don't die so you get to keep your stuff.)
But now we have no more missions left and just searching for the 32nd cigar box all the time isn't that exciting. Also CS2 just came out.

This is partialy why the battle pass being mostly playtime is so bad.

If I was to stay at the edge of the map, I would just walk around the edge for the time . As long as I'm moving, that should be okay. But I wouldn't do that cause it's boring. I'd rather die trying to do my missions by pvp hungry guys

After the update i noticed how dead al mazarah felt, i normally play ashika for pvp but i remember al mazarah being just as sweaty with Ltvs and 6 mans, but now it feels like a ghost town and i only see about 3 sqauds throughout the match. But man ive been noticing this a lot lately where some person joins in solo and goes to the furthest corner of the map. It only took me 3 days of grinding bots and final exfil on vondol to hit max prestige
