A Ball Joint needs to have a smooth Surface. That Engraving Bit however is highly abrasive, it will cause enormous amounts of Friction. That wont make a good bearing at all.
It's a great little tool for the price, I have just been grinding 4 holes in a wine bottle for a rubber band powered car. It took me a very long time but it did the job so it gives an idea how abrasive the head is. I expected it to wear out in a matter of minutes but it didn't 😍👍
Can you mod it by replacing that motor with a much powerful one? Or rewinding the wire inside? Also what is the difference of that with the pro version? (Except the color)
I am sure you could change the motor if you wanted, there are always plenty available from online stockists like eBay. You would probably want to upgrade the batteries too. I haven't seen a pro version, were they in Poundland?
I am sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by you completing all the process? This video is to show what is inside and how the parts link together to make the electrical circuit.
Short answer, NO. The grinding surface looks like it is coated with an abrasive, so once that has worn away I would not expect you could recoat it without an industrial machine. However, You can probably buy abrasive bits for other similar tools and with some ingenuity make an adapter to fit it on your tool. The down side of that is a set of replacement bit are probably more expensive than the tool you bought.
@@20Aleksa08 If you are using it enough to wear it out, then maybe you deserve a better one. This video is over 3 years old, so I don't know how old your engraver might be. Back then, it would probably have only been £1. Everything is more expensive now.
Yeah, I can see how I was a bit vague. Sorry, I meant... I wonder if you could use those diamond ball heads to grind out a socketed hole in (say) some styrene, to ACCEPT a (probably) standard M2 ball end. Thanks for doing that, btw... I was drinking some Tesco finest Red Grape Juice drink at the time, I heard my name ...and...well hilariousness ensued. Yup, wrong pipe, coughing... at least it didn't come out of my nose.
Thank you so much for this video. I bought one and when I opened it to put in the battery everything fell apart. I was just about to call the person I bought it from that I wanted another one or a refund when I came across this information. I paid over 17us$ it was not in the packaging and no extra tip
Dude thank you so much for posting this I had broken mine but I managed to fix it thanks to your video
Glad I could help 👍
thank you man,saved my life
You are welcome!
simplicity is most often the best.

I bought itsame as this but two battery cant touch the motor. What to do
Stretch the spring at the bottom so it pushes the battery up further
A bit like the sort of electrics found in some Happy Meal toys.

Hello, do you how you could sharpen it if it gets dull from using it too much?

@@GrandadIsAnOldMan thanks for the answer
@@GrandadIsAnOldMan so, buying a new engraving pen is a good answer if you cannot find the coresponding part for low price

@@GrandadIsAnOldMan it hasnt been used much but it is old (older than video maybe by 1 year), maybe the age made the spinning part dull
