I love this show. It REALLY surprises you. Last season, I thought that Nastia Lukin would stay the course. I was a gymnast for a lot of years and at least for me, you had to have a bit of the xtreme factor in you, because in my day, we didn't have foam pits and all of the protective measures. The coach would yell at you to do it, they weren't going to let you fall! My tailbone was broken off at age 10 because my spotter didn't catch me when I missed the bar and landed from the top bar to the floor mat at a bad angle. I even sucked it up and competed the next day. No Crying.
A gymnast prior to the me too movement also should have been used to coaches yelling in your face, calling you names. You had to be strong and push pain away. If you are ready to complain about a hurt, it better be a real injury because another girl was waiting to take your spot. There was NO crying. Our couches at least would not tolerate a gym full of whining, crying or complaining girls. You sucked it up or packed up your stuff and didn't come back. You were always tired and starving because in the 80's.... diet was different. I was solid muscle at 15-16, was 5ft barely and could only weigh 80lbs. Coach weighed us every week. Girls would sneak food, then go purge, others just ate like birds...I was the bird type. Fasting was my game and is still a bad habit. I don't know where we got energy from. Don't get n e wrong, I still love gymnasts and follow it loyaly.. I just thought we were very strong, physically and mentally.
Maybe....if this show goes long enough, you can get Simone on. Maybe even her husband since he is in the NFL.... lol
So Nastia got pretty far but gave up. This showed that the people who you think are strong because they trained their whole lives.....or they were physically strong, couldn't do it.
I am GLAD i watch this show. It is a good dose of REAL. --- VS most🤮 reality shows which i can't stand. Thanks for a great watch!!!!

I haven’t watched the show and from the commercials, I’ve seen it’s different than what the selection processes are for any of the special operation forces in the us. However, with the show being run by a bunch of ex-sof guys there are probably some things they took for the different selection programs and I can tell you that many amazing athletes attempted them and failed. The one program that I know the most about is Buds and the whole point is that you are put in a situation where no matter how strong, fast, or smart you are you are going to fail. Either from your inability to keep pushing or from the instructors making it impossible for you to do anything but fail. The ones who succeed are the ones who accept what’s happening and can persevere mentally.

I liked the show until the end of the first season, where they gave everyone a participation trophy.

He is from the TV show, Special Forces: Worlds Toughest Test. Him and a Navy SEAL along with 2 Brittish Special Forces guys, take a group of stars that range from sports stars, reality TV stars and Social Media people. Throw in a couple suits who say they are tough.... take them to the middle east and start teaching them things like rappelling, being in water with your hands and feet tied. Endurance training. They have a "base" where you sleep on military cots, wear the cloths and get no sleep and eat crap food. If you are into what the military and special forces need to do for training....check it out.
