I remember waiting for the weekly upload, Seeing this when it was uploaded made me so happy. 10 years later I came back here. As an adult, home owner. Made me tear up, the amount of memories these guys gave me
I came back as a homeowner too! And with 2 little baby boys 🥹 I used to watch these every Friday morning before my classes then rewatch them in between classes and to relax after exams and mean professors 😭
ClancyAruna technically though they might not have used it there was a glitch back then that could dupe items on a massive scale most commonly used for tnt thats probably how they got all the tnt actually since they never show any mob killers ever as well as them never showing us where all sand came from because ever stack of tnt requires five stacks of sand and four stacks of gunpowder its obvious they cheated
RIP achievement city- my teenage years were spent watching y'all fool around in that beautiful world. Good times, good times. Gave me something to look forward to, so, thanks.
Downtown achievement city looks so bare! No Caleb pit, Ryan's house isn't even kung fu house yet, no butts, no notice board, no cake wall... No corridor to the future... This just in: it is entirely possible to get nostalgic about a virtual place you've never even virtually been.
I remember being 12 watching this when it came out and was so starstruck by the “notch” pov, just wanted to say thank you for making these videos truly made my childhood fun🙏
I had to go back and watch this one for nostalgia after finishing the Burnout Paradise finale video. RIP Achievement Hinter, thanks for 15 years of entertainment!
Currently building each house in my survival world using this video in case this all disappears with the recent news 😢 forever a part of my life and forever a part of my world. RIP RoosterTeeth, you will be missed by millions
I’m now 21 moving out of my childhood home. This channel and series brought me so much joy, happiness, and fundamental building of personality. Thank you all for being with me through my whole life.
"That was uh, that was our failsafe." "Your failsafe to what? In case I want to hijack the island!?" I don't know why, but that's always been one of my favourite lines in this episode.
I can understand how Ray feels though. I love Minecraft. If I had only one game to play for the rest of time I would pick Minecraft. That being said if I had to play Minecraft as a job I might begin to hate it. I only really enjoy the game in spurts. I play for a month or so religiously then I quit and turn to other games. It's a slow game that caters well to the leisurely player. Also I personally love the shots of Ray doing something random out of boredom during a Let's Play because I'd be doing the same thing.
I was 9 when I watched this and now I'm in college. It's baffling how one video sent me back to being a little kid again. I remember growing up dreaming of being in one of these videos and playing Minecraft with the crew. Now half of them are gone for one reason or another and it's bittersweet to grow up with these guys and see what it has all turned into now. I wish I could be 9 again and watch these guys laughing my ass off trying to keep the volume down so my parents don't hear a swear word, now I'm 19 and these might not be as humorous but they hit me in a different emotional way. Reminding me of a simpler time for both the world and myself.
I'm here after the news *today*. Rooster Teeth getting the axe by WBD. 15 years of my life just came to a quiet end. Hopefully these videos get archived or are allowed to stay up.
To answer jack's question on how much wool the logo uses, it uses 961 wool blocks (that is, if Gavin is correct with 31 by 31 blocks. plus 3 sheep for every bed (jack, geoff, michael, and gavin). So 973 sheep were slaughtered that Memorial Day weekend.
+Andrew Thomas yeah there was like a dispenser glitch back then where you cool take any block and make like 6 64s of it. me and my friend built like super big buildings on survival. thats probably how they got 1000 wool and like 1000 TNT
12 years ago i watched this for the first time at the age of ten. On my moms ipad mini, sitting on a yoga mat in the living room, tucked between a wall and a book case. (it was my comfy spot) i had just learned what minecraft was. i didnt know it but these guys would be my after school comfort show with 520 episodes. i miss those days a lot
The start of an era here, weird to come back to this after everything thats gone done with RT but I'm glad this is still up. Many of us were high schoolers or middle schoolers, and now we are all adults with jobs and possibly houses/spouses. The world changes but plan G is forever.
I was in college when this came out. Friday nights in my dorm with some Chinese takeout or a sub-par Subway sandwich and putting off an essay until Sunday. The best.
Recently got back into Minecraft and started to reminisce. I was introduced to Achievement Hunters by one of my friends in high school many many years ago. We don't really talk anymore but we had so many fond memories of watching these Lets Plays and laughing together. :D
Sorting by newest comments. I'm so glad so many people are still watching these videos from a decade ago. Honestly feels like it was just a couple months ago I was watching these every Friday. Everyone supporting RT for that long and loving these videos for a decade is amazing.
Watched this 12 years ago, the day it came out, now I come back every now and then, thank you Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter for forming my love of gaming and my sense of humor. This was such a simpler and happier time...
Watching this in 2024 just before we role into 2025. Watching these videos is like a warm deep hug from an old friend. I love these video the doofuses that made them. It's sad that they'll be no more video from them anymore, but the memories and laughs we've made will never go away. Rip rooster teeth and achievement hunters. You guys are missed dearly ❤.
I like how, within only 3 episodes, Gavin and Geoff built an Empire and an Icon that has lasted nearly a decade. Can't wait until AH Minecraft beats RvB Classic for longest-running RT series
I was 9 years old when I found RT, this was the first video of theirs I ever watched. Every now and and then I go back to watch this and now I feel like I should watch it one more time…

Adding a new comment for one of my favorite series on UA-cam. I remember watching these as they came out, still love them. Never cared for Minecraft, but really adored these videos. Time to watch them once again!
I love how Michael says so mamy random things that make no sense and are completely unrelated in this vid. For instance: "This come tastes like death, why?" Or "Dude, were IN the game."
Its insane how its been 6 years. I watched this the day it released. I had family over my house and was watching it on my iPod 4G. Times were simple back then.
Good bye my old friends. I will continue to rewatch and enjoy these videos for likely as long as they remain up. Also shoutout to whoever came back retroactively and totally balled out on the closed captions. You’re work is appreciated

Rip to achievement hunter let's play roster teeth this is one of my early childhood memories thank you to everyone that was part of these videos you truly meant the world to me when I was a child thank you for the funny memories.
Great back and forth Michael: “What’s this? Is this a button? Look! What is this?” Geoff: “Did you push the button?” Michael: “Yeah” Geoff: “OK” Jack: “That’s terrifying”😂
This feels like visiting a grave.
So long and thanks for all the memories
Waaah
The old cobble stone texture just takes me back to a happier time.
Even more now that RT is officially gone.
Now it feels even more like visiting a grave
Jup, definitely at this point.
"Did you push the button?"
"Yeah why?"
"Okay"
That okay makes me laugh so hard.
It was just yay
And that children is why we don't push strange buttons found on the sides of hills.

Michael doesn’t say ‘why’

Someone bring back the old AH
I was 12 years old on summer vacation when I discovered them, childhood memories I will never forget
Right there with you. I’m 23 now and it feels like a lifetime ago. Life goes on.
I came back as a homeowner too! And with 2 little baby boys 🥹 I used to watch these every Friday morning before my classes then rewatch them in between classes and to relax after exams and mean professors 😭
I come back to this at least 3 times a year just to relive my childhood when it was all simple and I didn't have to sell my soul to retail for rent
R.I.P. in peace Plan G. You brought us many minutes of laughter and entertainment. It is really sad to see you torn down and turned into a museum.

October of 2023 and still laughing my ass off. My golden age of AH. Thanks for all the memories guys. ❤
Same here, some of the best entertainment of my life. The nostalgia will always be there
Coming up on 10 years soon, where has the time gone
yeahh :(
gone forever :( but watching this video as a kid back then was so enjoyable
So good to come back and rewatch these memories
Given the sort of things we've endured between then and now... This is a welcome nostalgia trip.
10 years :(
the moment that you realize that this was made in survival mode...
Oh yeah, I remember that now.
17:22 Was That The Real Notch?!?!
While also using a dupe glitch XD
ClancyAruna technically though they might not have used it
there was a glitch back then that could dupe items on a massive scale
most commonly used for tnt
thats probably how they got all the tnt actually
since they never show any mob killers ever
as well as them never showing us where all sand came from because ever stack of tnt requires five stacks of sand and four stacks of gunpowder
its obvious they cheated
Yeaaaaah and
I just realized Geoff and Gavin start to panic when Jack pours lava on the Achievement Hunter logo. I can't believe I didn't notice that before.
Oh my god... I just realized... o-o
It's made of wool that's why they panicked
@@Anas0_ali or because of all the TNT directly beneath the wool
After years of the joys of this group, I hate to see this is the end.
RIP achievement city- my teenage years were spent watching y'all fool around in that beautiful world. Good times, good times. Gave me something to look forward to, so, thanks.
Theo Andersen thank the lord i wasnt the only person that wanted to take a trip down memory lane once again :/

You have no idea
I've watched this episode probably 50 times and I just noticed Jack say "This cannot end well" at 0:35 when he finds out he has a house XD
LOL
Sad thing was, he was exactly correct.
So you've watched this 50 times with no audio?
I remember being 12 watching this when it came out and was so starstruck by the “notch” pov, just wanted to say thank you for making these videos truly made my childhood fun🙏
Many of us are of the same age. I am happy that this was part of my childhood. Sad to say it’s long good but the nostalgia still remains
It took me 12 years to realize the notch pov isn't from the actual lets play but of a different recording of Plan G
There's just something so fantastic about the first 3 Minecraft LPs that I can't describe
Same with the GTA series, And here I am again watching them.
Honesty
They feel like peak AH

They did this without creative mode. Means they had to manually get every piece of gunpowder to make all of the dynamite.

DewMan001 Well actually they duplicated all the dynamite with the dispenser glitch.

Michael sounded drunk all the time in these old lets plays
He kinda was.
In the last episode they're talking about beer, and Geoff sounds drunk.
It's been discussed a few times how drunk Gavin was during the second episode; hence the creation of the Tower of Pimps.
Harambe's Spirit True.
Werent they drunk when filming most of the earlier episodes? (except ray of course xD)
