Thank you, you have just saved me a $189 diagnosis fee from ford.did not have to use a tire iron, sprayed in wd40 kept pressing the button and after 5 mins it popped out, greased it all and it’s back to normal.

Mine was the latch upper part that was not catching on the button you push down. I used a flat head screwdriver and pry it inside a bit. Voila works😊
