Channel 4, Missy was Ackley bridge! You broke so many fans hearts killing her off, I really hope you have a bloody good storyline to keep your fans! Because right now I don't want to watch Ackley bridge without Missy! Hope you can back it up an come back from such a great loss....

It was a very bold and risky move to kill off Missy but it was done beautifully, so thanks for giving her the episode she deserves

I do think the death was beautifully done but it's still a huge no from me. The friendship between Nas and Missy is the biggest reason I fell in love with the show to begin with.

@@quietastronaut yeah it just felt very abrupt and unnecessary. There was so much growth left for Missy to just throw that all away for shock value just doesn't sit right with me
Ariana * Very true. Missy had so many interesting and realistic challenges already and they choose to give her an early and dramatic death? For what? Maybe they were trying to be bold but I just find it boring and disappointing... Such a waste.
I agree. I thought the show with Missy and Nas was gold, as they explored different aspects of their lives and their community. I thought it was going well up until season 2. Within season 2 there were so many changes that it was almost foreshadowing the ending that is now season 3. I feel like its not going to have many episodes but we’ll see.

I think the show gave missy a certain ‘final hours’ wisdom. I think she knew she was dying, when she paused and looked at her family before going upstairs it’s like she was taking them in one last time. No one gets blurry vision after being run over and doesn’t get worried. She knew it was her time.
Yeah, but the show could have keapt her, i hate to see Naz hurt because her and missys friendship is what keapt me going.

@@unknowns5216 not sure why you have to be so rude about it. She could of still recognised that she was dying and felt shocked that it actually happened. That’s my take on it, I’m not asking you to accept that.
Tbh I kinda realised she was dead as soon as I saw the Windows..like they had some steamy effect it just made me realise she's not actually alive anymore.

The actor who plays nas is so talented. The way she cried when she found missy was just amazing. She is so talented
So is the actor who played missy watch the scenes shes crying, She has tears flowing down her face shes actually crying in them
I think they have taken a big risk by doing this it could end the show the reason why its so popular is because of the fans and when you take away a fan favourite its hard to come back. Only my opinion
I think they are ending the series because they wouldn't have killed off a fan favourite if it were to continue
@Hulkerine100 yeah thats what i think as well. They mightve thought quit while were ahead. When you have all the things they address in these shows you can recieve some negative feedback so rather finish with a controlled ending rather then a forced one due to cancellation

Waterloo Road did that with Izzie and it still went on for a few series
Absolutely devastating, but let's be real for a second, she would never get discharged from hospital after a car accident without a full head scan. We was all invested so much in Missy, show won't be the same without her
Daniel Marsh that’s what I was thinking. If someone is in an accident, they are given the full broken body treatment for safety measures. I know it was for dramatic reasons and maybe they did it to show a reflection on how in some bad areas, the doctors or hospital surrounding it, isn’t as good. I don’t know.
Completely devastating, and beautifully put across with Missy just falling asleep and meeting her nana but it wasn’t true to how it would have normally been proceeded by professionals
My friends brother wasn't.....he was discharged....you know how he died? We went out to do the shopping and he was relaxing and the sofa.....he had died from internal bleeding. That's the thing with death it happens when it happens not sooner and not later
I wasn’t given a headscan even though the issue was my head I had a seizure and severe concussion and with my mums health they thought I may have a bleed on the brain but I was to high of a risk to give a scan to as my age id of had to been knocked lit
Sometimes stuff like this cant be detected straight away
I was in a car accident and wasn't given a scan. They just gave me some painkillers and a sling. Turns out I had concussion, whiplash and a broken knuckle

They shouldn’t of killed off missy. Season 3 was a big No No. half the teachers left and Nas didn’t even get a huge storyline.
Just glad miss Keane was in that one episode for missy’s funeral
they killed her off because Poppy, the actor, was busy on other stuff
Miss Keane is definitely in my top 4 characters. Even tho it’s her character she’s truly an amazing woman in ackley

I personally think that Nas had less problems and doubts after Missy’s death.
I just love the way Amy Leigh Hickman does a northern accent considering it isn’t how she talks it’s impressive acting normally doubled by the accent perfect all the way threw

Did anyone else think Nasreen died with the heaven sequence? It was hilarious, when she was looking at the Angel's funny, then God or Jesus appearing in a beautiful bright light, then nas says, you do know I'm Muslim! That proper cracked me up! Brilliantly funny.

That line about getting over it is so true. 21 years since my little sis's death & I'm still not over it. I still feel the pain, but it has become bearable (I've gotten used to it) over the years.

Theories I Can't Explain Not always. I had a concussion and it didn’t show on the CT until after a couple of hours.
Sometimes bleeds on the brain aren’t picked up on the scan. They start off small
And the fact how quickly they discharged her. Would’ve never happened in real life

What made me realised is when her vision was blurring out, after you get hit in a collision always ask for a brain scan to check for internal bleeding. I was completely shocked by her death, she was great.

This show is profound. I enjoy every single character and their storylines. The performances are outstanding. Its flawless. Naz and Missy were true soul sisters and loved watching them together so much. Missy will missed.
It was so nice when she saw her nan in a better place. I now understand this heart warming/breaking episode.

Having lost my best friend since childhood in tragic circumstances at only 21, you aren’t ever ok again never the same part of you died with them. You just have to adjust your course and live on in a new normal. It’ll be 16 years this year and still hurts so so bad ❤ what a sad scene. I do hope it is like that though when I wake up I will see her again 🙏

Waterloo road and skins was (imo) some of the best shows to come out of Britain, and Waterloo Road eps are on UA-cam (up to series 9 currently)

This is an old comment but with tv shows like this as it’s in high school the main characters don’t stay in high school forever so they are preparing for a new era every new seasons. New main characters are coming in season 4

Everyone is complaining about the death of Missy, but unfortunately life is like this. You don't get to pick when people leave us and as much as you hate it, nothing can change it. That 'gutted she's gone' feeling is the genuine feeling
I feel like there is no story line anymore
Some characters on and off screen are just larger than life and just dominate the narrative Missy was definitely one of them

What was so beautiful about this scene was Nana booth and Missy are assumed to be in heaven. I cried so hard at this gets me every time
