  • Jollibee, a Philippine owned fast food restaurant has finally landed in Michigan. While Florida and California have had locations for years, Michigan can finally get a taste of this unique fast food establishment. Pineapple quenchers and peach mango pies and really good fried chicken are among the highlights of this eatery. Join us for a food review as we try most of the items on the menu.

Gravy is to dip chicken in. If you get mashed potatoes you can use it for that too. Spaghetti is sweet sauce. Filipinos dont like Italian style spaghetti sauce. It seems acidic to them. Good that you didn't get banana ketchup for your french fries 😁

I should have added a note about that. I figured it out when I ordered my wife a 2 piece to go order. There was a small gravy cup with it.

I agree. I just wish it wasn't an hour away from me, but I guess that beats driving to another state.

I just saw that in the store a week ago. If I hadn't, I'd have no clue what you're talking about. 😂

That's a Filipino Sweet Spaghetti, not Italian Olive Oil based Spaghetti, not even a Japanese Ketchup based Spaghetti, that was intended to cater the taste bud of Filipino children and the thousands of Filipino living and working in other countries who misses home and brings back nostalgic childhood memories. Question. Are we not allowed to make our own version of Spaghetti, the way America make their own version of Pizza? They say Spaghetti is Italian, does Pizza came from America? And you are allowed to make your own version of Pizza which the world should accept and recognized? But other countries making their own version of Spaghetti is a big No! No!?

No one said anything about not being able to make your own spaghetti. I had never heard of this and thought it was simply an odd style of regular spaghetti. I did kind of like the hot dog slices. I just thought it was too sweet.
Thanks for letting me know. Also, is the adobo rice a common dish? That was pretty good and not like anything I've had before.
