Meeting Krampus at Krampus Market in Depot Town, Ypsilanti, MI
Depot Town in Ypsilanti, MI, offered a delightful experience at the Krampus artisan market held in the historic freighthouse. The market featured a variety of unique vendors showcasing eclectic and creative items. Meeting Krampus himself and capturing the moment with a photo added a festive touch to the visit. To top off the day, a short walk across the street led to a fantastic dinner at Maiz Mexican Cantina, where delicious flavors and a vibrant atmosphere topped off our perfect evening.

Hulkamania ran wild in Howell, MI, as Hulk Hogan made four stops in town for meet-and-greets to promote his latest business venture. The excitement was palpable as fans lined up to meet the wrestling legend. I joined the crowd at his first location, Jonna's Market, where I waited about an hour to meet him. Hulk was incredibly kind, and his impressive shape for a 71-year-old left a lasting impre...

During our visit to downtown Howell for Witches Night, we were immersed in a lively celebration where everyone embraced the witchy theme. The streets were filled with people dressed as witches, enjoying the shopping and dining options. The real excitement took place in the alley, where visitors were humorously chained to a post and "forced" to confess they were witches. Fortune-telling added a ...

THIS IS WRONG!! Smile Shriners, you're becoming internet famous as disgusting human animals!! * Stop donating to Shriners is a great trend. Stop now!!!! I was furious to learn that Shriners International has not yet directed its chapters to end the use of animal acts for fundraisers. At a time when Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has returned to the circus tent with only willing, human performers and several Shrine temples are nixing animal circuses, this inaction is out of step with the shifting tide of public opinion. I'm not with a group, I simplee care about living, sentient beings being tortured daily. We have all the receipts. Elephants, tigers, and other wild animals forced to perform in circuses live under the constant threat of being hit with whips, electric prods, or bullhooks-sharp, steel-tipped weapons resembling a fireplace poker. Trainers exploit the animals’ natural desire to avoid pain in order to make them do headstands, spin on pedestals, and jump through rings of fire. Shriners International-an organization that claims to be devoted to doing good-should disassociate itself from the egregious cruelty inherent in using animals for entertainment, which would surely attract a new generation of Shriners. Please pass a bylaw banning the use of animals in circuses across all Shrine temples. Watch the hours of undercover video like this: ua-cam.com/video/56MOO9k5HDo/v-deo.html
This is my friend's house
There is one in Missouri too. So I wanna go there to sing The National Anthem.
I really like it.
Thanks! The weather really cooperated this year. Very little rain the last two weeks of October and it was no colder than 50 degrees. It actually snowed on Halloween in years past, so this was a great year. Hope we get more like this.
No address?
There's a link in the video description. I wasn't sure if they wanted it public so I didn't mention it in the video.
Wow, what an amazing performance! Keep up the great work and dont let these PETA mentally ill distract you, they are only talking out of ignorance.

CLEMENTINES 11sep2024 rude and injurious manager establishment will not allow you to finish your meal without harassing to you leave to allow more customers With over $100 meal AND A MATCHING TIP at hole in the wall restaurant, the manageR came by and asked us to leave to make room for their busy night of customers. We had only been there an hour and half of that was waiting for our order. We thoughT we could sit down and relax to a good evening meal with a couple of new friends. BUT NOT the FAT ANGRY MANAGER CALLED US RUDE FOR ENJOYING A TABLE WE BASICALLY PAID FOR. She could not appreciate the value we brought to CLEMENTINES RESTAURANT.
This video is totally awesome! Great job!
If you're just looking for some fun on the island make sure to and have a valid ID. You can get most golf carts for cheap, depending on how busy the island is in the "downtown" area. DO NOT get a golf cart (if you're a tourist or anyone) when you get off that steep hill from the Miller Ferry or around that small area, they'll up-charge you. Just pay the $4-$5 (per person) for a taxi drive & go down Langram to Main St. I promise, if you're not acting dumb and pay, you'll have no problems and a very great time!
It was better when it was Deer Park funland
I don't know anything about that, but I'll bet the pricing was much better. This park has very little to offer in comparison with cedar point and yet they charge the exact same price. They need to add one really good coaster. Instead they keep getting leftovers.
Thanks Craig, from malcolm in the middle of

Absolutely fantastic best video I've seen today thank you for sharing🎉 your costume was awesome I would have picked you for number one. And you given the thumbs up was the icing on the cake
I was encouraged to sign up for the contest almost immediately after I walked in. They did mention it, but I later found out (as it was starting) that there was supposed to be a theme for the contest. It was supposed to be "favorite childhood character". That's probably why I came in second. Still really awesome for my first time competing.
hey man, cool video. i'm tc native, and i know these places but was cool to see. happy travels!
I grew up 10-15 minutes from the original location in Fairfield, in the 80s & 90s. So, obviously we went there for our produce, at least once a month. They had the best produce in greater Cincinnati, the best fresh fish, and eventually the best EVERYTHING! I remember it's smaller incarnations, and the improvements along the way. I had no idea that it was such a special and unique store until I was older, 'cause of course everyone has a store near them like this, right?!? As an adult, I realized what a true gem this place was/is, and even though I no longer live near enough to shop there regularly, I try to make a trip there at least once a year, if I can help it. Best to leave the credit cards at home, though. It's so easy to overspend your budget in this foodie Mecca. They have just about everything.
FVW. Full video watch share with your friends and ask for a Fvw
Congrats!!!
I do know one thing they don’t sell: Blue Bell ice cream. It is not sold in the state of Ohio
I'm not familiar with it. Where are they out of?

Love traverse City fantastic video give up a great work
There used to be an amusement park along Route 4. Jim bought quite a few of the animatronics and decorations from it initially. He also built a 2nd location on the East Side near Eastgate Mall.
I knew about the other location. There was just no way we were going to get there as well.
Next time I go out there I absolutely have to check out the antique car museum! That space underground makes me nervous lol.
You guys went on a good day! Doesn’t look too crowded.
The flea market has been a joke for the last 30 years and getting worse every year now. China made crap and less and less vendors. The Wednesday auction is the only reason to go. Been going there for the last 45+ years.
Really depends on what you expect. Everyone's opinion is different. Yes, there is a lot of stuff from China, but that's true anywhere you shop. The pants my wife bought were hand made locally.
Seems there is now a “instagram path” now to get to the largest pie pan. I had to fight my way past that brush in my day. 😂
Definitely a path now. 😄
Hard to believe it started as a fruit stand, isn't it?
Jim Bonaminio is a bit of a magpie. If he thinks it's interesting and it's available, he will buy it and put it at his stores (there are two). The monorail was part of the Kings Island Safari that ran the late '80s or early '90s. I'm not sure when it ended. But when they stopped doing their animal safari, he bought the monorail. If I remember correctly, there should still be three sections of seats that look like they came from a stadium - a section of green, a section of blue, and a section of red. Those all came from the old Riverfront stadium, the shared venue for the Bengals and the Reds. Coney Island was, until very recently, an amusement park here, southeast of town down by the river. They sold quite a few of their rides to Kings Island forever ago but others they kept until they started shutting down rides, and when they shut down rides Jim was one of the people who bought them. That place is dangerous, even with a list. It is fortunately too far away for me to shop there regularly, but it's not too far from my parents house, so every time I go see them or my sister's it's always a risk. 😏
I'm not sure if I should be jealous or be happy for you. Close enough to visit occasionally would be great. We have something here in Lansing Michigan that is similar but much, much smaller. I did a video on it about a year and a half ago it's called Horrocks.
I am going to see the fort today and I’m riding gatekeeper
Gatekeeper, Valrvn, Maverick and Steel Vengeance are my favorites. I think Maverick might be my top favorite because of its speed and quick turns.
FYI, The building out back called Oscar Station is very much used! It's a great bar and party area that is open at various times.
I live near Cincinnati and have often shopped at Jungle Jim's but I have never seen most of the stuff in the first part of the video because I usually head straight for the deli and cheese section, then the meat, produce, and international groceries. It's a great place for unusual items when you cook adventurously.
I'd be in big trouble if I lived close to this place. I spent almost $200 and none of that was perishable items! Amazing store.
@@youradventurecompass take a list and get a shopping basket instead of a cart 😂. And eat before you go.
Skyline is my absolute favorite. I grew up Cincinnati before moving to Michigan as a teenager. Whenever I get back to the area, skyline chili is a must stop.
@@andrewmosier6498 I like it. It's unique compared to others. My wife and daughter are not so big on it.
$100 a day for a golf cart is a great deal.
The Monorail came from Kings Island from the late 70's to mid to late 80's and Jungle Jim's bought it and has never been run on there property
@@slagcat Thanks for the info! I was going off info from another vlogger and the video on the jungle Jim's website
@@youradventurecompass Jungle Jim's has a lot of neat thing there are two stores. 👍
Don't go on a Saturday night. It's filled with 20 somethings who come over to get massively drunk and obnoxious. It's a Go-To place for Bachelorette parties. They all walk around..really drunk and screaming their "Whooo-Whooo" war cries, while the bride carries a 2 foot inflatable penises....or penis squirt guns and shooting people. The guys get so drunk their vocabulary is down to 'Dude...F@ck..Bro"...and not much else.
If you eat at the boathouse for lunch, and sit on the patio, make sure not to be on the carousel side. The same song plays non stop for hours. Gets old really quick
Great tip! We ate inside because it was so hot that day and at least they had fans inside.
Great video keep it up
