Not too many builders care to arrange the transformers to minimize interference, as you did. A neat way to implement the delay is to use two SCRs in the rectifier bridge. This way, you not only can switch them on and off, but you could also control how fast the filter capacitors charge, in fact controlling how fast the +B voltage rises.
Nice job. Very nice job. I'll copy your wooden sleeve and top & Bottom plates idea. I have some nice mahogany planks and a piece of Indian Rosewood that would make a nice fascia. A polished brass top plate would be nice but maybe quite expensive. I'm liking your amp a lot, especially the recessed valve holder surrounds.
Good Evening Robert, I am very inpressed by the sound quality and craftsmanship. You did an awesome job in building the amplifier. I have only built a Dynaco VTA ST-120 kit. I would love to beable to build the KT88/EL34... Single Ended Tube Amplifier that you have done a excellent job building. If you don't mind would you happen to have a parts list that I could get from you? I would love to try and build the same amplifier as the one you have it's fantastic sounding. Thanks for the time and help.
Beautiful. I was going to say it reminded me very much of the amp built on Blueglow's channel. And I see you saw that as well. Thanks for sharing the data on the google drive as well.
I have been looking for a KT88/EL34 single ended amp . Any advice on pre assembled amps that I can investigate. Everybody's heard of Decware but I've not been able to find out if you can run KT88 and EL34's in any of their single ended models. If I could find one as nice as yours that'd be ideal but all I really want is a partner to my Prima Luna balanced amp so I can try 'Tube Rolfing' comparisons' between them. 🤤 "Cool Amp Dood"

This thing must be a commercial kit ... the parts are way to exotic to be available to the public ... how many watts does it give in triode mode and U/L mode ? And at what percentage turns on the output transformer primary is the U/L tapping made ?
Thanks for the comment, this is not a kit but my diy and all the parts are easily accessible. I tried to make it as simple as possible for someone who is not a professional in electronics and wants to have an amplifier like this. The power of the amplifier is: P (triode) = 7.6W P (ul) = 9.8W Screen / Grid Tap: 40%
@@RobertZovko thanks for the info ... so it's tapped at 40% ... that's optimum for low distortion and output power .. some p-p output transformers used 20% which gave more power but more distortion as you'd expect . In your opinion which tue actually sounded better ?
I too enjoy building amplifiers and think your work is very good, looks better than most beginner amps. Glad you're part of the forum too. I'm hoping to get a laser engraver soon to step up my projects, would you recommend yours?
First I tried with this: EleksMaker® EleksLaser-A3 Pro 2500mW Laser Engraving Machine, but it's too weak, leaves only black print but does not grab the material. So I went to the professional and with a bit of adjustments we set it up for the engraving to be about half a millimeter deep. I do not know which machine I just know it is powerful and at minimal power. So the desired engraving is achieved with the length of laser work. As far as sound amplifiers are concerned, every honor Kegger ...
Well it looks like it does a great job, I've built one of Keggers designs before and enjoyed. I've been also watching blueglows series on his slightly modified version, most of my builds are 5 watt single ended so been meaning to build something with more power like this.
Wonder if that 1M on the input makes sense, the input pot allready sets the input impedance, and the pot will be unlinearized with the added resistor. Maybe unless the pot is a linear one that is.

Iz toga proizilazi 2 transformatora kao izlazni i jedan onako jači za napajanje. E tu mi nije jasno zasto 4 transformatora? i to pritom dva ista i dva različita? Moze objasnjenje?
Hello good evening I really liked the work done on this amp and wanting to build one, my question is that I have a BOWER 805 matrix with 87 sensitivity, it can be used for this amp, thank you very much
