The first thing to do on a ktm with that brakes (master cylinder, disk and caliper) , like your one and like the older lc4, is to changing all of them immediately and going for a badass 4p caliper, 320mm disk and master cylinder. I always recommend that ;-)

In my opinion its best if you learn how to coast and rear break on a bicycle because you win alot by doing that, same physics.. and I tried to wheelie some with my 125cc (CBR and DUKE) but i only did baby once, but practicing makes alot, getting that clutch/throttle muscle memory in. :)

Hey BLDH, how do you recommend I remove my insanely over-tightened and now completely stripped drain plug? This is on my 2010 KTM 450 XC-W 6 days, so the same motor as your 530 EXC. I've tried breaker bars, vice grips, and even hammering on a smaller socket and nothing works. My brother doesn't want to heat the engine case since it is aluminum and he is scared of melting the case, the only other option is moving the engine case out of the engine mounts to drill it out, or try one of those sockets (which I don't have a 13mm) that is for removing a stripped bolt. If anyone can help please, I don't know what to do next.
have you tried pulling with a larger wrench thing. I mean with an extension on it so you get furtur away from the center turning point? extend as much as you can! you could do up to 1 meter in extension then you get plenty of force :P
I did, and it stripped the plug even with a high quality 6 sided socket, it is truly fucked. I've got plenty of tools and the only this that I can imagine to do now is try heating the case.

Becouse they want as much surface area touching the ground as possible when riding fast in curves + a much smoother riding experience. Myself have dirt bike tires and they work fine but I would love to have motard tires :)
Man! Could you please tell me how much oil consumes your bike? Mine is ktm 690 smc-r 2016 and it eats oil like crazy! 4 liters went for one week! Is it normal??? I use Belray Thumper 10W50 synthetic. Tnx for any advice! P.S. Of course I'm not riding like usual man on the street. But this bike is born to go crazy on it! It's like to buy a gun and never shoot! ) You are awesome in weelie! Respect! I'm just learning to get at least a little closer to your level )

heat it! it is made for some heat. how much i dont know but it can take being hot! but have a word with a professional first! :P
