Soooooo...I totally used a harness with my guy. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. He walks like a dream. I never used the Martingale because I worried about choking him. So thanks so much for that info about placing it properly behind his ears. When I get my next pawesome frenchie, I will use the Martingale collar!!! Such a great video! Super informative! I learned a ton!
Agree about the harness, used Hermsprenger on 4 frenchies over time and it worked FLAWlessly if used correctly. they are a stubborn breed for sure! but thats just my experience .
Finally thanks for this video ! Been watching dog training videos and they recommend all kinds except Martingale !!! Nothing compares the same breed owner with experience 😊
Thanks man I’ve just recently learned about collars as was using harness and my boy was every day workout to keep him bit steady. Will be getting one of them defo. Useful video!
This was such a good video 🙏🏽 I have been wondering about collar for the past year with Toro. I’ll have to look into these! Love the vibes of your videos!! Can’t wait to see more content!!!
@@Peter_Kramm Understood, I’ve been trying to train my pup with one based on your recommendation. Could definitely use a little help. Hope you and Füli are back soon!
Mine is 9 months and I did a food allergy test I bought on Amazon where you can just swab their mouth to get saliva and send it back and mine was allergic to coconuts. Sorry not allergic but it says highly sensitive to…… and it gives you a list of what he may be sensitive too. It helped a lot for me. But then he’s scratching again a little bit now ….ugh it’s frustrating. He’s 9 months btw.
Can you help me with a puppy food for my Frenchie? I think we bought the “runt” and he’s super skinny and scrawny. He’s 14weeks old but looks like he’s 9-10 weeks.. he was nervous the first 2 days and hardly ate so that made him look more thin.
"it's not NOT true", because it is true, they are inhumane and there are much better methods of training your dog to walk on a leash, and you can train your dog perfectly fine to not pull in a harness if you know what you're doing. Positive reinforcement and starting in a boring area like your home is key to get them used to walking in a harness, then you take the practice outside around increasing amounts of stimulus. These dogs have a hard enough time breathing without the use of choke chains - you can call them Martingales but I prefer to call them what they really are, you are choking your dog into submission using negative reinforcement.
A lot of professional dog trainers would disagree, especially your point of it being inhuman. The martingale does not hurt the animals. Positive reinforcement is always encourage with any tool you use

My puppy loved the < Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach> we first got him the canned wet food version and gradually switched him to dry food
