"P nice" is nowhere close to what this is. I think it's been proven by now that no matter which chip you choose, you make the most of it. Thanks, once more, for the auditive gifts you constantly shower us in.
At first I wasn't expecting anything special about this... but then that flute-sounding instrument and the Namco 1 channel in the main part of the song. HOLY MOTHER OF- God how do I describe how much of a masterpiece this is... Just... GOOD JOB! Your covers are outstanding; I'm always looking forward to your next uploads. You have the talent. Never give up.
This is the platonic ideal of what a chiptune should be. The purest form. I don't think there's a higher praise I could give, and this track sincerely deserves it.
@@SkyTheLeafeon The .mod file format is limited to only 4 channels (from the 4 channels of the Amiga PAULA sound chip). This would be more doable in .xm/.it, I think.

Went from a boulderdash random video to a random playlist of musics from The Last Ninja 2 (which I never knew and never played) to a random comment tagging a timer of a music that I typed on the youtube search bar because I seemed to like it to just end up here, absolute amazing how things can be discovered by simple random curiosity in this giant maze that is UA-cam! ... I also do not know what's happening on the screen, well it seems to be kind of an old DAW ! All I can say, it's added to one of my playlists :D
@@Mnnvint no this is famitracker using some expansion chips. the famicom could use chips that added more audio channels, the nes couldn't do that as it lacked the circuitry to use them because nintendo of america makes remarkably stupid decisions.
I don't know how I missed this one This sounds beautiful, almost like its a culmination of all your work and skill up to this point keep at it man, excited to hear what future levels you'll reach
This was really impressive. Idk if you had to work harder on it than usual, or if its more a case that the song itself was already pretty good, but keep making these and someone will notice your work
Well, if it had a N163 chip in the cartridge, and if it was a Japanese model (Famicom). The western models could not use sound expansion chips, apparently.
hey dude, do you think you could do a dropbox or mediafire folder for all the nsf's you did on your youtube channel? I would love to use an everdrive to blast this song tbh
export it into NSF and play it on cartridge (you need to have the expansion chip and a famicom cuz NES doesnt support expansion) P.S. he already left a link which is a NSF so follow the rest of the instruction
You know what this sounds like to me? Melodic rock in 8 bit style. And that's a dang good thing.
This could just as easily be a "good ending" BGM. It has that ragged yet optimistic tone to it. I love it

I honestly was not expecting this style of tracking where speed 1 is used and every tick uses effects and volume instead of instruments envelopes.

Seriously man, this presents your mastery of the N163. Sounds like a goddamn excellent .mod, especially with the stereo mixing.
Imagine converting the original version of the song into an Amiga .mod file.
It's doable, is it not?

Can someone explain me what is a .XM file? I have never figured out what that is

Man I can’t help myself, I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to this. This song is just some special type of epic, I can’t believe it.
Impressive work 👌👌 Can't believe this was 5 yrs ago lol

The program is famitracker
It lets you make music that can be played on an nes
@@DogsRNice This is snes, though? Or maybe nes, if they build in a full-blown sound card in the cartridge...

this actually sounds richer than the c64 version, thats damn impressive
understandable: eleven channels here versus original three :)
This FamiTracker song gives me serious FastTracker 2 vibes. It's that good.
I don't know how I missed this one
This sounds beautiful, almost like its a culmination of all your work and skill up to this point
keep at it man, excited to hear what future levels you'll reach
This had a wonderful start to it, then it got to 1:20 and I was floored. Holy shit
Sounds straight out of the Amiga and I love it.
wtf!!!!!!! amiga sound was shyte matey.......
I come back to this a lot
this was g egg
I keep coming back to this work of mastery. Massive kudos for a perfect version of an awesome tune!
SORCERER seriously though, somebody should hire you to do a NES-themed soundtrack.
Man, they really oughta show off your covers in chiptune radio - you have a talent for eargasm👌
I hit the like button maybe three seconds into the video, just from the opening beats I could tell you'd nailed it.
This truly is an amazing channel, i've loved everything you've put out so far!
This was really impressive. Idk if you had to work harder on it than usual, or if its more a case that the song itself was already pretty good, but keep making these and someone will notice your work
This is more than p nice, this is pure gold man
I know this is a 2018 video, but man. You're an absolute wizard.
Whoa, really happy I stumbled onto this by accident. Fantastic work, dude!
This cover sounds way better than the original!
Always excellent to hear this... I was so impressed upon hearing this for the first time a year ago.
KOZAK! 😎
Little bit noisy on real hardware and needed to adjust volume of N163 channels using EDpro, but... just... WOW! ASTONISHING 🍻
fresh
Dude, this just made my whole day. Please do more Last Ninja covers!
Dude what the hell how could I have completely missed this, it's a bopper
Damn, this is amazing!
Wow man, this is fantastic!
Creative, inspiring and really well made . Wow.
That was magical!! 😃👍
Excellent... acrouzet brought me here..
Just started learning famitracker and I'm amazed at what you did with it
Amazing instrumentation!
Just imagine if Dan Bell used this for an intro to his Dead Mall series.
Damn, this sounds real good. Really good shit.
One of the most impressive track I've heard on Famitracker
Man, it's totally amazing 😍😍😍
Keep it up!

absolutely nice - serenity now mix
really damn good
Fucking incredible.
Fantastic, hats off
Outstanding!
Infinite terrain....
no way, i literally just came here from that
Awesome!!
If people back in the 80's heard this could be played on a damn NES, people would have shit themselves
Well, if it had a N163 chip in the cartridge, and if it was a Japanese model (Famicom). The western models could not use sound expansion chips, apparently.
wow unbad
This song rocks!
AMAZING
Very good!
02:21 Imagine the landscape ink wash paintings of east asia.
In my opinion, this is better than the original

Cool
how long did this take to make? It's so professional
Yup, subbed.
p very nice
Someone should port Last Ninja 2 to NES and include this music! :D
Just realized from AVGNs latest ep that the NES game is Last Ninja 2 ._.
Nice, but The Street Ingame music is one of the best pieces in Last Ninja 2 - try that next..
trying to figure out how to get this composer to work... any useful links?
Are you talking about 0CC Famitracker? If so, try out Dn-Famitracker 5.0.0
Its the only consistently updated branch of FT at the moment.
...That sound familiar..
My favorite parts are 1:20 and 4:23 .
ya dude p nice
this is still why i do the FamiTracker things.
3:13 - dat Bronski Beat tho
There is a way to play your tunes on real hardware ?
export it into NSF and play it on cartridge (you need to have the expansion chip and a famicom cuz NES doesnt support expansion)
P.S. he already left a link which is a NSF so follow the rest of the instruction
THIS SONG SOUNDS SIMILAR TO DNA BY LIA MARIE JOHNSON!
I came back
i dont think its p nice
