Thanks for the video again. About some treasures, for example gibeon stone/Ambegris/Desert rose , almost every guide says its from the ponds where you drain the water with the pumps or go to the mines and farm 1-29 and 30-50 to get the lot from the enemies and then a apraise to get the treasures ...welp let me tell you that i spend 2 days doing that and i was geting the same treasures from the lvl 3 mine and from draining the water with pump in area 2 and 3 ....aparently i had to use my bucket and get the treasure from the "medium" ? sized water ponds (Not the pudles) ,so i cleaned area 2 and 3 and i was like there is no way that they have diferent loot pool those bags ...and i got the last 3 treasures x3 times over. So i got those 3 from that and not from draining the "lakes" in area 2 and 3.
Perhaps they updated it because I played the game when it came out three times to completion just to make sure that the treasures were obtained in the way I listed them here in this video and on the companion written guide-slash-checklist. The objects from the big ponds are still RNG so it may SOMETIMES give you the items, other times they won't. But good on you for finding the items you were missing (and if you are playing on the Playstation, congrats on the trophy!).
I don’t think I can play to year 7 for what seems like such a narrow chance to get one last treasure on a luck chance after grinding 1/8 of a supplemental aspect of the game. Soooo tedious. Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah, the final item is all dependent on the RNG gods. I was so frustrated trying to validate this finding and having to play through 2 playthroughs of this to do so. 😅
You are such a pro in this game, maybe you can answer me one question. I am trying to fill my encyclopedia at least with 900 entries for the trophy. I manually counted ~974 entries 3 times. On a full encyclopedia list, there are only 918 items. I can’t imagine I counted this wrong 3 times in a row. Maybe DLC Content for other locations are included in my counted number? I read there are some entries missable, so I just wanted to make sure I have enough backup not missing too much what locks me out of the achievement.
There are plenty of guides showing lists of items you need and a lot of them you can get simply in passing or crafting them, I got up to 620 - 630 just by playing normally
Im following this exactly for the marlin and not getting it , maybe weather is a factor? but Im only getting Salmon Solved it, 1st sunny day, got many Marlin.
I really appreciate your hard work and effort for doing this guide , I’m a bit confused about getting the treasures from the pond/lake using the fishing rod? Because when i use it the exact location you provided it only shows fishes, any help or tip please 🥺🙏🏻
Thank you so much. I hope the guide is helpful! As for your question, That's because it has RNG. Meaning, there's a chance you will get those treasures. Other times, it will just be fish. Just keep fishing there and you will eventually get them (it's honestly a bit grindy in that regard, too). 😅
@@ynorfox hey, yes I got the helmet. And well, it was a horribly long grind. Just talk to the little gnome as she says in the video. In the end I spent about 3 or 4 ingame years of just sleeping and talking to the gnome until he was max level. Annoying but the only way. As soon as it was level 10 I received the helmet quite fast. Just keep going you are gonna get it in the end :) good luck!!
@@benito369 I already enjoyed what I had. Now I just want to get my platinum on the play. They made me very annoyed by not being able to rotate the real estate, I saw that they fixed it on other devices and not on play.
I don't think I can offer much help apart from what I've already said in this video since that one is completely RNG and can take years (in-game) to get...
@@IAmVianca bookshelf had it museum didnt have it or is now in plain sight near or around the fish tanks i had the fish in a trunk just had to take inventory worth back and forth to find the ones i didn’t donate i was missing the giant grouper bigfin squid and few smaller ones
There is something you can craft with them, I forgot what right now as it’s been months. Empty bottles can be used to make a pair of glasses. So just hoard everything.

DLC is not included for the trophy, iirc. You just need the items from the base game.

RNG is still a factor. It can take you a while but so long as you follow this guide, you'll get it.

it's RNG. You just gotta keep trying.
How do you put bait on your rod?
You select the bait on your rucksack's menu, then with the bait selected, press Y and select "attach to rod".
When I drain the lakes and not the needed item is in it, I will have to wait until the lake fills up again and repeat draining? This can take ages 🤣
Yeah, it can. It was such a pain too when I had to do that in two playthroughs to make sure my info are correct for this video. Lol
