An apt comment from Vincent. The baroque music is both poignant or joyful. It is great for sombre moments in our lives isn't it? Dolly Parton said that grief is love with nowhere to go. I find baroque music opens a way out
58:41 I kept expecting to hear the 1st Mvt. of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik". As Hellendaal lived in the same period as Mozart, I can't help thinking this was deliberate.
Increíble Música Barroca de los Países Bajos, es todo un hallazgo siempre encontrar este tipo de joyas y encima fuera de los escenarios habituales de la Música. Gracias por ofrecerlo.
Very beautiful music! I really enjoy listening to it. I have not heard these pieces before, so this is a real treat. Thanks for creating and sharing this video.

This music lightens the soul, takes the listener right out of the present time (a relief). Thank you to all concerned and of course, BC. . Where do the artists who make up the consortium hail from, please?
Musical life in the early and late baroque period was rich in Netherlands, , partly due to the past exile of English composers, the vicinity of Germany, the heritage of Franco-dlemixh school, and also of course the quality of national composers. But the competition of surrounding countries was important, and (apart from Sweelinck, who had a major influence, mainly on Northern Germany school leading to JSB), so at the national level there were excellent composers but no genuius did emerege. But excellent composers mean excellent music, and it would be an actual musical great loss to ignore it. We have here some convincing "samples". To-day, musical life in Netherlands (concerts, etc.) is great and not enough known worldwide.
Thank you for your introduction of the simple history of Netherland's music in baroque period. Bach and Handel and more, this is the imagination of baroque music in my mind. And now I learn more in your message in YT.I also learn more details in other messages while l,m enjoying the beauty of the music. The music is graceful and brilliant and l want to dance nearly. That's fantastic thrill and experience. Wish you have the beauty of the music more and more too.
Thanks so much for posting! There are some of my favorite late Baroque concerti here - I love the Wassenaer and Hurlebusch! However it seems that the tracklist for last selections (from Disc 4) don't have the correct composer attribution. I believe that it should be Anton Wilhelm Solnitz Sinfonia in A major, Op 3/4 3:22:49 Johannes Albertus Groneman Flute Concerto in G major 3:34:49 Willem de Fesch Concerto for 2 violins, in B flat major, Op 10/2 3:42:47 Johannes Albertus Groneman Flute Concerto in G major 3:52:04 Conrad Friedrich Hurlebusch Concerto in A minor for 2 oboes 4:06:24 (these composers *are* mentioned in the caption above though...)
Thank you for your projects. But I have a question: The list of pieces of music includes: The Dutch * Pieter Hellendaal (1721-1799); * Unico Willem Reichsgraf van Wassenaer Obdam (1692, Delden / Province Overijssel - 1766, The Hague); * Willem de Fesch (1687, Alkmaar - 1761, London) and the German * Johann Christian Schickhardt (1682, Braunschweig - 1762, Leiden; who also worked temporarily in the Netherlands). But where are the ones mentioned at the beginning * Anton Wilhelm Solnitz (around 1708/22 - 1752/3, Leiden or The Hague, a German-Bohemian composer who stayed in the Dutch Republic during his entire musically productive life); * Albertus Groneman (1711, Hamm - 1778, The Hague, a Dutch composer of German descent - in the country from around 1730); * Conrad Friedrich Hurlebusch (1691, Braunschweig - 1765, Amsterdam, a German composer. From 1743 he worked as organist at the reformed Oude Kerk in Amsterdam)?

Wunderbare Barockkonzerte von Komponisten aus den Niederlanden. Vielen Dank, dass Sie diese zeitlose Musik geteilt haben.
It takes less than 4 measures of baroque music to relax you, and then you can again begin to see the finer things that were already all around you.
très bien sehr gut magnifico wonderful ...La musique est universelle...
The true Dutch grails. Unfortunately forgotten! Thanks for making this popular again.
🇳🇱🎶 the barok spirit is in the Dutch Baroque successors
For me, Baroque music can best be described as luxurious.
So very beautiful.

Thank you for your projects. But I have a question:
The list of pieces of music includes: The Dutch
* Pieter Hellendaal (1721-1799);
* Unico Willem Reichsgraf van Wassenaer Obdam (1692, Delden / Province Overijssel - 1766, The Hague);
* Willem de Fesch (1687, Alkmaar - 1761, London)
and the German
* Johann Christian Schickhardt (1682, Braunschweig - 1762, Leiden; who also worked temporarily in the Netherlands).
But where are the ones mentioned at the beginning
* Anton Wilhelm Solnitz (around 1708/22 - 1752/3, Leiden or The Hague, a German-Bohemian composer who stayed in the Dutch Republic during his entire musically productive life);
* Albertus Groneman (1711, Hamm - 1778, The Hague, a Dutch composer of German descent - in the country from around 1730);
* Conrad Friedrich Hurlebusch (1691, Braunschweig - 1765, Amsterdam, a German composer. From 1743 he worked as organist at the reformed Oude Kerk in Amsterdam)?
Hello Dimar, thank you for pointing it out. It seems that there has been a mistake in the description. We have fixed it now!

Very Italian Venetian style
