With parallel timelines that branch from different points of each season, though I didn't think of the First Spinjitzu Master narrating and observing like the Watcher, but I think it's a good idea. Though if it ever happened, I think the writers would just have Master Wu narrate, like usual.

Evil wu was a really good side villain. When he was attacking Kai I could tell those attacks hurt considering the fact that they used flashing effects (which usually mean it was a hard hit)
I actually really wish we somehow got to see that. Garmadon and Wu literally just swap places, with Garmadon becoming human again as he did in the actual ending, and the overlord resurrects himself again with Wu as his new vessel, and we still get sensei garmadon when that happens.
Fun fact from 2024: Wu and Garmadon were never human in the first place they are half dragon and half oni but not even a tiny bit human making Lloyd not human either.

That would have been a cool ending to see, but I like how season 2 ended and then how season 3 began. Maybe one day they could do something like, but not with the Overlord, at least not yet.
I remember when I was younger thinking season 2 was the ending it wasn’t until season 4 when I realized they made a season 3 I had to go back and watch it
That sounds interesting so would they have kept Garmadon being possessed by the Overlord if they went with that idea? it would have been an annoying cliffhanger if there was no season 3 though

Wouldn’t being attacked by your own sensei hurt more? since it would be your own friend attacking you

Actually this is an incorrect fact. The confirmed scrapped concept was that the overlord was manifesting in garmadon on the last episode of season 2
They probably came up with a couple of concepts for Season 2, which of course were later scrapped
