- Emmanuel Fratianni conducts the Orquestra Villa Lobos invites and, along with Tommy Tallarico, invite Akira Yamaoka, composer of Silent Hill series, to perform "Laura's Theme" at 2010 Video Games Live S. Paulo.

Also, for those who doesn't know, the crowd is requested to join, to participate in the pieces playing during the events (it reads: applauses, screams, cheers and singing). So, comments like "too much noise", "why are people laughing" and others alike are really out of place in this case.

Best moment of my life
Over 15 years later, and this song still can't be beat. It's almost indescribable. Just the raw (and depressing) emotion it resonates, and how fitting it is for that reason, given the plot and themes of Silent Hill 2. The entire game has an amazing soundtrack, and "Promise/Theme of Laura" stand high at the top. Akira Yamaoka seriously knows his shit when it comes to music.

Yamaoka didnt create silent hill D:, he was the music composer and in the future games the producer
jomer hax Exactly his point. He was not a director for any of the games, designer in any sense, or even programmer. He composed music and gave approval of most of the content for Silent Hill 3 and 4 specifically. He is not, by any stretch of the word, the 'creator' of the Silent Hill series. The 'creator' title falls under Keiichiro Toyama, Hiroyuki Owaku, and Masahirio Ito.
Still a god, for me music makes or brakes a game.

@@brazukabraz com certeza, Team Silent era monstro, mas sem o Yamaoka na trilha sonora, o Masahiro na direção de arte e o Owaku na estória do jogo, duvido muito que os jogos fossem ser tão bons. Mas eu acho que exagerei no "seria só mais um joguinho de terror qualquer", até porque não tinha tanto jogo de terror e menos ainda de terror psicológico nessa época.
@@docc_ ñ existe nenhum jogo até hj como a Quadrologia original de Silent Hill , nem mesmo o seu "sucessor espirital" , Siren . Fatal Frame é terror japonês mas ñ é tão profundo quanto SH. Infelizmente essa a saga está no Limbo, as sequências pós Team Silent ñ tem metade da criativade que os jogos originais tinham, são jogos ok, apenas, mas ñ fazem jus ao título . Temo que essa saga ñ recupere sua identidade novamente. Silent Hill tem que ser produzido por algum menbros da extinta Team Silent que já eram familiarizados com a saga.
@@brazukabraz É, infelizmente a Konami teve numa decadência gigantesca nessa última década e final da década de 2000. Onde já se viu você simplismente desempregar várias pessoas e acabar com uma equipe como era o Team Silent, que estavam fazendo um trabalho incrível e que tava tendo um sucesso, só porque você "queria que os jogos fossem feitos por americanos"!? Tem questões monetárias, é claro, já que SH não dava o retorno que a Konami queria, até porque eles são mercenários pra carai. Mas eu acho que se um dia desses der uma louca na Konami e alguém de lá acordar e lembrar que eles não tem só PES como franquia, Silent Hill pode voltar com tudo, e aliás, vai ter aquele The Medium aí em Dezembro que lembra Silent Hill, e o Yamaoka tá trabalhando nele então pelo menos na questão de áudio esse jogo já se garante kkkkkkkkkkkkkk

What is not clear is why I have to want to enjoy listening to it with the annoying clapping. Clapping which audibly drowns-out the song's actual tempo, making it harder to follow and to appreciate. What is also not clear is why someone (x2) on the internet needs to persuade a stranger not to have an opinion, as though everyone has to like the same shit, and support the same stuff, all the time. I repeat - I can't listen to this song with all the spastic annoying clapping. Hope that was clear enough for you too. :/
Because Griffin, the music AND the clapping occurs in the same room, so when you use a recording device intending to record the music, you'll also get the clapping on tape. And that's why there is clapping in this clip.
Nobody is telling you to change your opinion on anything, what we were trying to explain to you was the reason for the clapping in the video. You can't/don't want to listen to a live performance where there's clapping, that's perfectly fine! We get it! We got it from your very first posting. And there's a VERY simple solution to that problem; Don't watch live performances where the audience is encouraged to act lively, watch the performances where the audience is told to hold their applause to the end instead.
