I find it amazing that removing 2 keys out of the top and 2 keys out of the bottom of the FR-7x trebble keyboard makes the price goes down from $5,000 to $3000. I love this instrument, it has sort of the Bontempi organ or Roland Juno-106 type of charm. Look and feel of the instrument and player performance sounds mind blowing even on that string sound. I have to sell my guitars and get this.

That's quite sad that the FR-7x has been discontinued. FR-1x and FR-3x are very fine, but FR-8x is not everybody's cup of tea. The FR-7x will be greatly missed. All in all, even though I am not an accordion player, the V-Accordions seem to be the only trully desirable instruments produced by Roland today. Integra-7 module is nice, but it has quite a few quirks. It's not perfect. Roland V-Accordions are perfect. What has happened to the Roland synthesizers... So undiserable easthtically..

Try register 6b musette, then you may want to use dual to add strings or whatever for a fuller sound.
