    That was a wonderful tutorial, Manoj! I have a PA1000 and have never attempted to create/modify styles so far. You have truly inspired me to try and create a new style now! Just subscribed to your channel as well. I do Bollywood song covers on Keyboard, Harmonica and Melodion. You're welcome to check out some of my covers on my channel.

      If you get a korg set with with styles and sounds, it would work as long as they are from either pa700 or lower models. Sets saved from higher models like PA 4x will not work unless they are converted to pa700. Here the issue is not with the format. For higher models, there would be more features like ifx etc in them. Those will have issues when loading to 700

    Hello, I have saved a user drum kit after modifying in the "sound" options & did "write sound"..now when I select those drum kit in style creator mode, the effects are gone, it plays the original drum kit in korg..what might probably have gone wrong?

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  9 днів тому

      The effects you save in the sound mode are saved just as the default effects assigned to that sound. But when you use that sound in a style/KB set/song, the effect assigned to the track will override the default effect. There would be maximum 2 or 3 master effects which can be assigned to a style or song. Then you need to assign the send level in the mfx tab for each track.
      If you want the same effect as you assign the sound mode, select that sound as one of the master effects for the style and set the send level for the drum track in the style.

    i have another ask too about mp3 record and sequencer ... which one better for crat rhytm.. thanks

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  Рік тому

      It depends. Mp3 gives you a flat file with the recording as it is. Sequencing would give the same thing but you can edit it later, mute tracks or change volume, FX etc. it has a dependency on the sounds you used while recording too. If you play it in another keyboard it my sound different

    Thank you. I have 3 questions. I played and recorded the pattern but when playing different chords it plays differently and sometimes with wrong notes. How can I manage this? Second question. For example I want to mute the drums, bass etc. in VAR1 but turn them on at VAR2. How can I do this? Third: In a specific variation for example in the last measure, with a different chord I want a different pattern.

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  2 місяці тому

      For questions 1 and 3 you need to use the chord variations. In a variation you can create upto 6 chord variations (CV). They are actually the same pattern in a specific chord. For eg: one CV for major, another one for 7th etc. I am working on a video on CVs. It would be ready soon.
      For question 2, you can set the volume of of the tracks of each variation independently using the expression knob in elements and track controls page. You can set it to 0 for variation 1 and leave it as the default 100 or what ever you need, for the other variations

      @@ArrangerTutorials Thank you very much. Q2 is OK, done. But for 1 and 3 still problems. Because the instrument changing the pattern from what I played in some chords. For ex. in C major it plays the right way but in Bb different and somewhat wrong. It does not sound on the right note.

    Hi, I'm not clear on what the CV from CV1 to CV6 consists of? Suppose I record all 8 tracks in CV1 in C major of a style element for example Var1, what purpose do the other 5 CVs have, to record other different riffs of the same chord? Thank you

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  6 місяців тому +1

      Its for recording the variants of the same pattern in different chords. When you have only one cv and c major with CEG in it, while you play a 7th chord, it will generate the 7 th chord using the 3 notes in the recording. You can have another CV with 4 notes and mapped to 7th chords to have more accurate chord generation.
      I am working on a detailed video on cvs.
