The Celtics. Bucks got worse at wing defense. And instead of Giannis eating our frontcourt alive he’ll be baited into splitting possessions with some one smaller going against the best backcourt defense in the league. It’s a win for Celtics anytime Giannis isn’t offensive focal point. A lot of people mention Brooke as an offset in these discussions but fail to realize how ineffective he is against the Celtics. They run him off the court. Crowder can’t guard anyone on this team, neither can Middleton. And now neither can dame. Stylistically the bucks who were already poorly matched against Celtics got worse. They will dominate alot of teams in the league, but this specific matchup against what will be their rival is going to be a disaster for them.

They should have traded Middleton instead of Holiday. Middleton wasn’t that consistent and he’s getting old. Defense wins.
