They are not stupid let be real, no one will fire them immediately for bad call once in a while and they knew it. The one got fired was an idiot who jinxed too much
yes i strongly agree. when celebrities make mistakes they are fined bc it is their job to do so correctly, same with refs, their #1 job is to calculate each call correctly bc they are trained to do so. Its their job & if they mess up they should b responsible for it.
It's not the 50s anymore. We will never not have video replay unless the world as we know it ends. The NBA needs an official in a booth reviewing every call. Also, the rules of sportsmanship dictate you don't allow bad calls in your favor. The teams could take care of these problems on their own.
As a Warriors fan, the fact that so many of these include the Warriors Is insane they either will do anything to help them win or they will do everything to make sure they loose.
The same thing happened to me with the scottie Barnes ejection but I was playing rugby, my teammate made an illegal play and he got ejected and then I said to myself " Aw man that was a stupid play" and I got ejected for 'calling him stupid'
As a relatively beginner ref it'd be my nightmare to endup in these kinds of higlights after a long career and so much hard work. But I'm sure those guys in the vid are already immune to this kind of stuff lol
It's widely believed that Tim Donnaghy was just the fall guy, and refs fixing games was a much bigger problem. I recall watching a video essay, where Donnaghy would call one or two other refs hundreds of times, when he didn't call most at all. Then with the FBI investigation, when the NBA learnt of it, rather than cooperating and keeping it hush, they leaked the story to the media and threw Donnaghy under the bus. Donnaghy was absolutely part of the problem - but that's just it; it was bigger than just him.
Wait, ain't 7:31 case sound different?? What i knew is not after Jordan Poole dunk and Mavs called a timeout, it's an out of bound for GSW and timeout call from Maverick afterward?
I don't know about the US, but in Brazil we have a soccer saying, "Arbitragem caseira" (homemade referee). The Lebron one was just that: a deciding basket on Celtics homecourt against the home team. Same thing with KD breakdancing out of bounds.
James Harden made a carrier out of drawing cheap, EXTREMELY cheap, unavoidable fouls. Refs were told to ignore them because he was cheesing the system.
8:58 Not sure about the rules in the NBA, but sticking out your leg like this during a jumpshot would get called off in european Basketball too. It‘s a dirty trick.
I was at the warriors game when Westbrook tried to go for Steph and Durants head. Except refs were only calling fouls for okc. Westbrook tripped on his own foot 3 feet away from Durant and they called a foul on Durant. Refs really blew the air out of oracle arena that night
In Belgium we have 1 ref called Dirk Dom who has done all the mistakes from the clip. One of the most worst refs in Belgium and he is also disrespectful for players, clubs and all the persons around a game.
Only thing I disagree w/ in this video is the missed calls on Harden. Maybe a couple of them were actual misses, several of them were illegal moves where he'd literally kick his defender
Someone needs to tell the NBA that the refs are there to enforce rules, not distribute techs for anyone displaying an ounce of emotion. It's hurting the product.
LeBron traveled, once you pick up your dribble, you can only take 2 steps. Doesn't matter if your foot is already in the air. When that foot hits the ground, that's a step. So, he put two hands on the ball, his right foot hits the ground after, then his left, then, his right again. The foul is a moot point.

And they get paid a bag for those bad calls

Not necessarily if it's rare and balanced on both sides. Mistakes happen. The problem is biased referees.
One problem is that the refs would be to scared to make any calls
"you cant throw the ball at the officials"
these announcers need to get fined too
Yeah he barely threw it it was a pass
@@Moxy1456 A bounce pass, even
I agree. About to quote the exact same thing. So dumb
@@danehardy1898😂 thank you nobody says the obvious
Ref's getting paid for these for sure
The refs are out of control it's ridiculous that the league allows it to keep happening and as for Scott Foster, that man needs to be fired.
Hoping that they have to make a another rule: the technical foul needs some explanation why the players got it
even the refs are confused 2:12
Fr😂😂
It’s really is going to happen in the NBA
Yeah, The two other rrefs are looking for something
Scott Foster, that's the biggest problem with NBA
“Get away from me Steve”
0:32 this dudes nuts are over his head got me 😂
lol bro the high five one 😆

As a lakers fan losing to the Celtics because of dumb refs is triggering
TOTALLY!!!! WE NEED TO REPLACE REFS WITH AI. PERIOD. THEY'RE CORRUPT & NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM.

I mean getting paid to fix games probably does make you immune to it.....
This some evergreen content since refs ruin the nba every night
Its always a good day when dime uploads
Bro said she still mad about it😂😂😂😂
This video should be hours long honestly. The refs are the only reason why I fully stopped watching the nba live
Tatum didn't deserve the title because of that
The tech on Wallace was the right call
How exactly does a Goal tend penalty work for 0:55? Was it the guy who's hands hit the backboard?
The guys hand who hit the ball after it was gonna go in
If the shot is near to going in or is on the way down from the shot that is a goaltend
More over if the ball hits rim or backboard it’s a goaltend. It’s also true of if you hit the backboard/ rim but that’s not what happened. 😊
Is it just me, or has P.J. Tucker been on every single team?
not warriors
Not lakers
not magic 🪄
Crawford wasn’t banned, he was suspended and later reinstated.
Never be a ref
It's always the bald refs
1:21 the phones aint even on record or sm, why they out as if its an interview
5:08 stop that killed me 😭😭
God loves all so turn to him!
Amen ❤
#9 Refs: So who do we have money on Celtics? yes Celtics
NBA Refs are soft nowadays, calling a tech for nothing
I can hardly wait for refs to get replaced by AI.

The lakers vs kings wasn’t bad referee, it’s the fact that everyone was trying to foul Shaq cause he can’t shoot 😂
2:00 what did bro do.? He didn’t even touch them?
I would've kicked Scott Foster's butt.
I am pretty new to basketball, can someone explain why 0:55 is supposed to be a goaltend? The ball was still on it's upward trajectory.
It hit the backboard first
If it hits the backboard and they block it, that’s goaltender 😊
If the ball hits the backboard before you hit it, it’s a goaltend.
Wait, ain't 7:31 case sound different?? What i knew is not after Jordan Poole dunk and Mavs called a timeout, it's an out of bound for GSW and timeout call from Maverick afterward?
I get missing one call, even if it as bright as day, it happens…but 9 CALLS IN ONE GAME
The zebras are crazy😂
Fr
The players should threaten to leave the league.
when the ref give 20 free throw for lakers vs raptor in 1 quarter that is insane
I'm blind I'm deaf I want to be a ref
NBA: oh you can ref
this what happens when the refs are fans too lmao. at 9:10 that ref was def a fan
I don't know about the US, but in Brazil we have a soccer saying, "Arbitragem caseira" (homemade referee).
The Lebron one was just that: a deciding basket on Celtics homecourt against the home team. Same thing with KD breakdancing out of bounds.
100% there should be backlash against refs at this point. We all know refs are also gambling on games they are officiating.
NBA Officiating in a nutshell 😂
That moment when, in a game about throwing a ball, you can't throw the ball at an official in order to give it to them.
Surprise surprise not everyone is able to handle a basketball
@@archimetropolis You're a ref in the NBA, but you can't handle a basketball to THAT degree?
James Harden made a carrier out of drawing cheap, EXTREMELY cheap, unavoidable fouls. Refs were told to ignore them because he was cheesing the system.
Just shows even the officials have a price to throw a game.
dime is underrated
Now that I think of it Refs really helped Golden State
Kings Lakers in the early 2000s was horrendous
9:39 burst out laughing on this one 😭😭😭😭
8:58 Not sure about the rules in the NBA, but sticking out your leg like this during a jumpshot would get called off in european Basketball too. It‘s a dirty trick.
Times refs ruined the nba: always. Pick which team they want to win. Let the players cheat. Nba isn't a real sport anymore since MJ
I was at the warriors game when Westbrook tried to go for Steph and Durants head. Except refs were only calling fouls for okc. Westbrook tripped on his own foot 3 feet away from Durant and they called a foul on Durant. Refs really blew the air out of oracle arena that night

dime is the goat
damn 11:33 feels like playing the home teamin some interschool tournament
Is it just me or are the commentators are being better then the refs calling fouls
not just you, but the "you can't throw the ball at the ref" was not okay
Awsome content🎉🎉🎉
The refs are 🗑
I don't remember a ref tripping Steph but I remember they always screwing him with no calls
11:38 how did they miss that many calls 😭😭
They’re so stupid
One time at my cousins game they weren’t calling anything because the other team was smaller than his team.
Only thing I disagree w/ in this video is the missed calls on Harden. Maybe a couple of them were actual misses, several of them were illegal moves where he'd literally kick his defender
Ragging on refs is more popular than NBA games.
you should make the same concept of video @dime But make it a nascar video and title it " times Nascar officials ruined the playoffs/ regular season"
3:40 that is crazy. They already blew the whistle 😅
9:40 is funny asl bro got hit in the face by the jersey😭
I would not be surprised if the refs bet on the game.
With these refs I woul get tech every game
Why is it they can’t retroactively fix this crap? Like the save while outta bounds. They can’t fix that at the very next possession? Why not.
Someone needs to tell the NBA that the refs are there to enforce rules, not distribute techs for anyone displaying an ounce of emotion. It's hurting the product.
1:31 the zebra's 😂😂 and 1:40 bro didnt even throw the ball at him he bounce it like thats bs
When Kevin did the pass out of bounds I had seen that on tv fr

KD stepping out of bounds with the ref 3 ft away from him was the worst
