There are a lot of comments on this, "age thing" but I feel like they all leave things out or explain things poorly, so I'll give my go from a couple minutes of searching. There is some confusion due to ages not being clear, different ages in different series', as well as the web novel having different ages. Megumin is 12 in her prequel series, which is likely where the idea of that age comes from, in the show, she is 14, but will get older as the show goes on. Kazuma is 16, in the original web novel all the characters were aged up about 4 years, so that's where the older age estimate comes from (makes the drinking a little strange, I guess 15-16 is the legal drinking age in this world??) light novel (not web novel) and show had the characters aged down. I agree it is still a little weird though, especially when they frequently make a point of her being younger. But also agree it's probably best not to think about it.
That was the loudest silence I ever did hear. I always respect when a show decides to have a body swap keep the body's voice. It's how it should work and hearing a mannerism change can be pleasantly bizarre. And yes, Kazuma managed to swap just in time to eat the hit Iris would have taken. Big Sis Megumin being a splendid bad influence. I'm not surprised Megumin's age is so contentious. Ages in general for Konosuba can vary depending on whether you're reading the light novel, web novel, manga, or watching the anime. And the passage of time as the story progresses is kind of blurry. Not to mention the manga and anime are happy to use different aged designs for different characters for some reason. I think it was Yunyun who didn't start out as crazy busty, but they kept her later design while still de-aging her? She and Megumin are the same age, for whatever that's worth. Anything to do with Iris is definitely weird though.
I saw somewhere, that according to the LN, Kazuma and Megumin are like 17 & 15 at this point. Now, in my opinion, Kazuma's interest in Iris is just weird.

Let's be real - Kazuma's luck kicked in at the right time. What happened was bad, but just short of being unforgivable. So it works, just never as you expect it to.
I can't wait for him to react to the next chapter, for the first time they will show something that has never happened in the series, uff what's coming
Also, I don't know what's weird with the comments here, Kazuna is a simple person and is not into lolis no matter how of a pervert he is... He literally sees Iris as the perfect younger imouto of his fantasies and would have done the such "bad things" you all have thought on before and after what happened in this episodes... Compared to what he does to other girls. Glad that Alicia learnt enough about Kazuma.
Its so funny to me when people confuse the ages because they unknowingly reference the web novel's ages which are different from the light novel. Leading to wack arguments because neither side is aware of there being 2 different versions. Hell for all we know the anime itself could have changed the ages, although its cannon Kazuma is/was a high schooler.
@MikadoSann0ji the source material has their ages shown at the start of each book. Megumin was 13 at the start then turned 14 halfway thought season 2
Current ages in the show Kazuma 17 Megumin 15 Darkness 19 Iris 13 Yunyun 13 (some people think she is 14 but idk) Nobody else really matters This might not even be the correct ages but the age gap is the same
Yunyun was in the same year of schooling as Megumin. I don't think someone as low-charisma as Yunyun would have been able to skip grades, and I don't think someone as overachieving as Megumin would have been held back them. They might be just under a year apart, and so one "year" off in ages-in-years, but their actual age difference is likely in months, not years. Yunyun was probably 13 in the Explosion side-story, which took place just before Megumin got to Axel and met up with Kazuma, who then spent two winters with him (first get the mansion/winter shogun winter, then invented-the-kotatsu-after-the-court-trial winter). Putting her at 15 as well.

But in reality I am Cutie Honey, but it was me DIO!!!!!
To be fair, last time I visited a live stream, thete were intermissions where the chatters were let out of the dungeon.
Let's be real - Kazuma's luck kicked in at the right time. What happened was bad, but just short of being unforgivable.
So it works, just never as you expect it to.
21:31 - according to the modern konosuba manga Megumin is 14 and Kazuma 16 (- unless I am mistaken)
New outfit is wild!!
His luck should payoff more, but remember the Goddess of Destitution he’s next to a lot.
i mean, they are fictional characters. We shouldnt have to worry about their ages
40:38 - ☝🤓 actually. it was Kazuma not the princess who got K.O.~ed
gah, iris is so cute! One of the better options for a body swap episode. Kazuma's only flaw was his lust for Lalatina :
Once again, we see our hero tangle with his arch enemy, the consequences of his own actions.
yah idk when i look it up on google it says kazuma is 17 and magumine is 15 at least for the anime idk about the manga
Proof here Eris and Kris are not the same. She called Kris her follower, and now we know who kris was ask to collect the sacard items for.
Chat's Dress-up Darling!
This show has only gotten more wild.
welcome back to konosuba.... HAIL CHAOS!!!!
also the insults at the end make me think of the monkey island insult fights.... god i'm old. 😭😭😭
11:42 bring me the horizon pretty based tho.
15:11 hbd
prequel megumin was 12 season 1 megumin was 13 current megumin is 14
kazuma is 16 and will turn 17 at some point but its not stated when
In season 1 Megumin was 13, now she is 14
Pretty sure they also explicitly state the three year age difference
@@tilted_axis9819yeah, it's like 2 years and some months, tho Kazuma doesn't actually turn 17 till a few weeks ish from the timeline of this episode
Dude a little research on the wiki and you'll know that at the start she was 14 and now she is 15 🤦♂️...
@MikadoSann0ji the source material has their ages shown at the start of each book. Megumin was 13 at the start then turned 14 halfway thought season 2
@@MikadoSann0ji It says Age 14 current
Oh shit! It's Kulve Taroth! Quick get her horns!
16:03 we got spit, LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO-
or too bad for those who didn't like it, LOL
16:00 yeah im not lying nor tryna deny it
39:15 alicia hypnotized by her own reflection
15:55 I mean... maybe if it was Darkness. Or Wis. But the useless blue thing? Nah no thanks
Current ages in the show
Kazuma 17
Megumin 15
Darkness 19
Iris 13
Yunyun 13 (some people think she is 14 but idk)
Nobody else really matters
This might not even be the correct ages but the age gap is the same
Yunyun was in the same year of schooling as Megumin.
@@falsnamae3511 your probably right i do know she is younger the megumin but i have no clue how significant the age gap is me personally idc its just an anime
she's 14 here, 12 in the spinoff series, megumin that is
kazuma's like 16-17ish, wiki is a little inconsistent.
Ah yes, the episode where Kazuma explores with the body of a little girl
After helping to defeat three Devil King generals, how is Kazuma not high enough level to take on the Devil King army? Does this setting only allot XP to who got the killing blow?
Freaky Frida, Konosuba style
guys i think she likes the birthday hat
I personally find it funny that Kazuma always have a struck of bad luck when he about to get some... When Eris is the Goddess of Luck and Fortune.
Yeah, shes rigging it
Iris with Kazuma's soul gave me a strong Alice vibes (Combatants will be dispatched!, same author).
kazuma is 17 years old
megumin is 14
darkness is 19
aqua is ??????
also you got to take in to account that in those times were these isekai are based on "middle ages" a girl as soon as they their very first period , there officially a woman in the eyes of society
shes 14 and hes 17 at the start of the show. and darkness is 19
He's 16 at the start.
@@jspsand7085 im pretty sure hes still 16 his birthday is still a bit away
You said you hate spoilers in previous videos. Then you got "Body Swap" in title with 2 heroines in thumbnail 😢 *Takes the cheese away as punishment.
If you watch the reaction before seeing the episodes yourself it’s kinda on you if you get spoilers
@@leo86channel Sigh, let me explain...
When you are subscribed, the video thumbnail and title ends up in Subscription feed, recommended, and even mobile notifications... Therefor the spoiler is incredibly clear without needing to click on the video itself, even when using devices or even watching other videos.
15:56
not with aqua
Alicia has always looked like this
Wondering if i miss something, the way she say Megumin name, is a joke on us, yes?
Also i do agree, the age stuff kinda dumb in anime, more so, when there not a huge difference.
There is a YT competitor that starts with “R” and rhymes with “bumble” that doesn’t have the constantly tightening censorship YT has. Just saying.
Reading!? In a Slaanesh broadcast?! Get that Tzeentch shit OUTA here!
Also, think of luck like a battery. some people have small batteries so their luck isn't great, but they only need small amounts of bad luck to fill back up. Kazuma has a truly giant battery of luck, so when he cashes in for good luck, it's amazing. But he also needs massive amounts of bad luck to fill it back up. Good thing he's got a group of misfits to help with that.
Gotta admit Claire kind of hot but her personality is harsh and suck 😂
Eris!! Chris!! My waifu officially same person ❤
5:32 PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSEEEEEEE
I wish that were me.
Nice new avatar
Alicia's husband is so base.
Something liked that happened to me and my ex, she wanted a breast reduction cause her massive honkers bothered her, i said she could do that if she felt the need, and i would take care of her after the surgery, but man, i would really miss the honkers
