Awesome cafe! Takes a lot of courage to this, I’ll remember white buns for when I’m there

Nice job! you guys are a great couple. My GF and I are toying with the idea of opening a cocktail bar in evening / Brunch in the day place in Thailand so this video has been really helpful! I'm a chef but have been doing market research for the past 17 years, kind of bored with that and keen to get back into F&B and make something from scratch. Thailand seems great vs. Singapore where I am now, as set up costs will be much much lower so if it does fail, we can just go back to our old jobs but at least we will have learned a lot and had fun!

      I highly recommend doing that.
If in thailand look for 3 main things- must have space for parking, must have atleast 20-40 seats, and cant just sell coffee - need food or drinks - because this way you can maintain income levels high.
      Good luck.

@@mascotgin thanks! Am thinking of serving tourists so will be more like Patong area so parking might not be necessary but the other 2 highly relevant! Was thinking 20 seats but might be a bit low. Be great to connect

Yes 20 seats seams a bit low but if turn over is fast it might do.

Greetings, how are you able to work legally in Thailand ? It is my understanding that you need to open a company and hire a minimum of 4 Thai workers full time in order to obtain a work visa .Thank you for sharing .🙏

maybe you should try to do something different, like bring something for free like a small biscuit, and be creative with presentation of your product. also give a better speed connection, something that for you is not too expensive but give some add to the customers.

You are suppose to have a work permit which you can probably not get for this kind of work not to mention the paperwork and expenses. It would be impossible in your business. Hopefully a blind eye is turned for you but obviously your competitors can use this against you.

    • @mascotgin

To be fair, comfortable living - it all depends on a person. People have different life styles. So its hard to say. Me and my wife spend quite allot. But i say anything between 30k/bath -100k/bath.
