NO, YEAH HES A BIG PHYSICAL QB WHO CAN RUN & AT TIMES PUTS GOOD TOUCH ON THE BALL BUT IMO HIS LEGS GOT HIM THIS FAR NOT HIS ARM! BUT SOME #RESECT FOR HIM!!!
I personally think he should be in the 40-50's range..considering he had to CARRY this offense last year with 7 ROOKIES starting a record btw.. And then all the injuries ankle, ribs, throwing hand thumb, fractured vertebrae in 2 places and won a playoff game against one of THE BEST defenses & secondary's in the NFL in the Arizona Cardinals... But that's just my opinion.
He doesn't deserve this hate, he is such a good guy, he works with kids, had broken ribs and still gets hate. Their just mad that their team didn't make it to the play-offs. Remember player's vote :3
+Unknown dude the packer flag was huge. It was even a flag it was A BANNER. He was just trying to protect his turf that green bay fan was just disrespectful. And the seahawks flag was being waved obnoxiously in his face. I would have thrown the damn flag as well
The team is garbage. He has one of the best QB ratings of all time. He has thrown like 3 bad picks that stand out. So has Manning. But Manning's teams were always STACKED.
Poke Tyranno 58 he has the BEST offensive line in the league and had the luxury of handing the ball off to a pro bowl RB and still found ways to choke. I'll give you him being a accurate consistent passer tho.
24 to 73... What the hell? Didn't this guy play hurt through the whole season and still led his team to the playoffs back to back years and won a playoff game? By the way with a shitty o-line and no offense besides Olsen, Benjamin, and Stewart(at the end when he started to get things going and got healthy). Loooool! You have to love these lists NFL Network brodcast every year, ALWAYS on point!
Ginger4Life He definitely deserves to be atleast a top 50,40 player on this list. When healthy he is hands down one of the best players in the NFL, his stats fell off this season but that was given with all of the problems the Panthers had and those 2 missed games.
Tris A. Even my gf was like what the hell does that part have to do with anything ..lol smdh..I HOPE that Cam sees this and it just adds fuel to the fire.. #haters man....gotta love em
Just for those that say Cam is a "bad QB" Most passing yards by a quarterback in debut game (422), September 11, 2011 vs. Arizona Cardinals Most passing yards by a quarterback in first two games (854), September 11, 2011 vs. Arizona Cardinals and September 18, 2011 vs. Green Bay Packers[88] First quarterback in NFL history to pass for more than 400 yards in first career start, September 11, 2011 vs. Arizona Cardinals Sixth quarterback to throw for 400+ yards in back to back games First quarterback in NFL history to pass for more than 400 yards in first two career starts, September 11, 2011 vs. Arizona Cardinals and September 18, 2011 vs. Green Bay Packers[87] Fastest player to throw for 1,000 yards (at Arizona Cardinals, vs. Green Bay Packers, and vs. Jacksonville Jaguars) First player in NFL history with at least five rushing touchdowns and five passing touchdowns in his first five games[89] Most rushing touchdowns in single season by a quarterback (14), achieved on December 4, 2011 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Second player in NFL history with 20+ passing touchdowns and 10+ rushing touchdowns in a season, joining Kordell Stewart ('97) First player in NFL history with 4,000+ passing yards and 10+ rushing touchdowns in a season First player in NFL history with 4,000+ passing yards and 500+ rushing yards in a season Had a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the same game eight times, tying the NFL single-season record - previously accomplished by Steve Grogan of the New England Patriots in 1976 and Daunte Culpepper of the Minnesota Vikings in 2002 Twenty-fifth NFL player (and first quarterback) to have 20 rushing touchdowns in first two seasons First quarterback in NFL history with at least 500 yards rushing in first two seasons First player in NFL history to have over 250 passing yards and over 100 rushing yards with a passing touchdown and rushing touchdown in a game (vs. Falcons on September 12, 2012 - 287 yards passing and 2 touchdowns, 116 yards rushing and 1 touchdown and vs. Bengals on October 11, 2014) First player to have 30 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns in first two seasons Highest average yards of total offense, career (293.7) First Starting QB to win the NFC South back to back. +Cameron Collins and Cam became the first rookie QB in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season. Breaking Peyton Manning's record for passing yards for rookies. Manning threw for only 3,600 yards.
Because the media for whatever reason HATES him...anything he does they belittle it...or portray him in a negative way...I have wondered this from day 1 2011
nicholas williamson name me a QB who could play at a high level with unfa's blocking for you and ankle ribs throwing hand thumb and fractured back in 2 places ..and still singlehandedly carry them to a playoff win..I'll wait......
Cameron Collins the panthers line wasnt shit. he had a decent running game. a good defense once they figured out how to use it. and they beat a team with a 4th string qb *claps* what an accomplishment.
He's going to be #1 on the list after this season. Cam is a great qb. He has a great touch on the ball he just find opportunities to scramble because that's the type of qb he is.
another thing people hate on cam because hes not a traditional pocket passer which last time i checked doesn't mean shit . cam can throw from the pocket and run better then your running backs
***** one bad year and we are the softest divison? Nice logic. We were 12 and 4 the year before and lost alot of players due to cap and had alot of injuries so this was a rebuilding year for us with all the new playefs and all the rookies starting and we still made the playoffs. You can cry all you want that we made the playoffs with a losing record and got a playoff win keep hating. And who the fuck is your team? You wanna talk shit about the panthers man up and say what fan base you rep bitch
***** lol typical bandwagon boy . Bet you just jumped wagon can't take you patriots and seahawks fans yall are all a joke. Fucking cheating ass team , cant win a superbowl without cheating fucking pussies your rings are tainted. Brady will go down as a fucking cheater and hell never be better then joe montana thats for sure.
He's getting it all this year.. Madden 17 cover, Most Valuable Player Award, A top 5 nod in the top 100 of 2016, and most importantly.. I hope for a Superbowl Ring.
Those who say he is underrated, I wonder how many games of his they watch start to finish. It is easy to judge a player by consensus, highlight videos and your general off-the-field impression of him. But I personally can not honestly watch their games and not feel like in the end, this guy contributes to their chances of winning more than anyone else on the offensive side of the ball.
Lol a running back? Are you fucking serious? Most running backs aren't 6 foot 5 and don't have the throwing ability Cam does. This kid needs to realize that Cam's not a 15 year veteran like Brady or Manning. Like every rookie, they get better and better. I would also like to acknowledge the fact that the Panthers are prancing their way to 16-0 and Cam is playing like a veteran. Boy I'll bet this kids choking on his words now.
+Unknown Been a fan of the Panthers since Cam went there (Auburn fan). Guess what? He led them all the way to the Super Bowl...and they're is a VERY good chance they will win it too
lol the kid reading the comment is dumb af. You don't just get drafted then boom you're good. Cam's only gonna get better an he's honestly underrated af. You can't blame one player for losing, it's everyone's fault. Football isn't a game where when you lose, you go back and blame people. NO. You get back to it the next day and come out better and try to redeem yourself. If the kid dislikes the Panthers losing, don't cheer for 'em. You stick with em thru thick and thin, don't keep saying “they lose a lot, it's his fault” that's not what football is supposed to be.
Why is he 73? He should be so much higher. He took the Panthers to the playoffs 2 weeks after getting in a truck accident. Fuck this! This list is whack. Keep Pounding!
I love Cam Newton. The man is a beast. I will give you a Stafford, 2 Jones' and 1 Bell for Cam Newton to come play in Detroit. With all of the weapons he would have at his disposal here he would win the NFCN with ease. You guys took his pet bulldog and gave him to Baltimore and dare to wonder why his production dropped? You cant lose a target like Steve Smith and just expect to perform the same. It makes no sense to criticize this man. He is an elite talent and he gets shitted on like hes just some average mobile QB who never breaks records. The Panthers are lucky to have him and that 4th grader who wrote the essay about him is probably a salty Falcons fan irl.
EasyEasy123 Because Cam lead his team to an NFC South championship, playoff victory, and he put up respectable numbers despite being pretty badly injured all season and missing a couple games and only having 1 WR and 1 TE that could be deemed reliable. Matt Ryan has one of the best sets of offensive weapons in football...and still can't with the NFC South. Does that clear things up for you?
Yes. His sub-par OL, inexistent running backs, and tight end sure did carry him. Defense definitely played it's part, but Cam is and always will be better than Ryan. You are also forgetting Cam's productivity while running. Add that to his passing numbers and you see exactly why he is better.
Best set of offensive weapons? He has Julio thats its. He has: The worst defense in the league Worst O-Line No running game It doesnt matter that he has julio the rest of the team was terrible.
Damon Brown not really... Cam had a worse passing ranked line (27th) while Matt Ryan's was 19th... even will 3 separate injuries and less offensive tools, Cam delivered more and ended up with a better record than the Falcons
Justin Hu . On the flip side Matt Ryan had a bad O line and a team without a defense. And both his star WR injured for most of the season. Panthers had the better team so of course they had more wins.
Damon Brown wtf... Cam had a worse O-line than Ryan... and both team had no defense... Julio Jones had his first healthy season and put up elite stats and Roddy White is very consistent... on contrary, Cam had the worse team
Justin Hu Jones was not healthy the whole season and White actually had a bit of a down year and between Panthers and Falcons oline Falcons had the worst passing offensive line which Falcons are heavy Pass team because they have no run game. Panthers have star players on defense like Luke Kuechly while Falcons only have a decent secondary no defensive line whatsoever. You don't believe me just go back and watch any Falcons game of last season. And I mean any lol.
I think aside from the O'Line (Oher=??) the Panthers have the most complete team that they've had in a long time. I think the secondary is starting to look like a very talented group of guys especially with Josh Norman playing elite levels. The Panthers organization have neglected this area for a long, long time. Front 7 are just fine, everybody knows that and with the addition of Shaq Thompson, the Panthers now have the best Line-backing group in the entire league hands down. It look like they've put together something good this off season. The WR group is looking beast as fuck. The Panthers are gonna be a top 2-3 defense (mark me words) and we're gonna wreck shop this season.
+Mikeilivesthelife foh he's that whole offense lmao they have no other wide receivers besides Benjamin but he's 1 receiver so it don't matter, and he has no good runningbacks or an oline .... yet his stats are good and gets his team to the playoffs...... stupid
I dont think any one should be mad about this. He was injured the whole year and the offense had a rough time the middle of the season. I think its a fair placement. #KeepPounding
I hate that people criticized him. Every one thought he wasn't a superstar blah blah. He's been this good, no body takes the time to recognize unless you are an actual Panthers fan.
Shoulda been higher, even with the injuries. Name any other qb that can have 3 separate injuries (including a near death car accident) and still lead his team to a playoff win.
He's a beast, but I'd like to see Joe Webb play some QB for us lol. He is extremely similar to Cam physically, yet since he was never given hype in college he's our QB3 and speed guy on our special teams. Monsters... both of them!
John Doe LOL. I'm surprised your teacher let you get on your computer/phone during school son. Learn a little something before you say something as ignorant as that, okay?
Joe Webb is talented enough as Passer to be in a battle with a struggling QB I'll give you that, straight line speed faster Cam too but that's it everything else is krazy talk ...
Dee Ford looks so cute as he talks about Cam's swag. You can tell that he admires Cam Newton. I love an athlete who can give props/kudos where they are due. Then again Dee Ford has his own swag. His self-esteem is therefore in tact. As for that car accident, it has always been a bit "suspect" to me. Anyway, Cam came back better than ever. Thank God.
Funny how people forget to realize the man played the first half of the season hurt.came on late in the season won a playoff berth in Atlanta first back to back nfc south champs ever!!!! first playoff win played seattle tough through out the whole game but still they give the man no credit???? Guess haters gone hate
Cam would have been even more amazing had he been a pocket passer who still used his legs to extend the play for a huge pass down field instead of being a rb at the qb position who still passes the ball.
he can throw really good... CAM is a dad now...cause he has a son.,.. some people do not think he is a Dad but he is... so some people that think he is not a dad... there CRAZY...
That little boy is eating is words now
yep
geez... Seriously lol
+Colin Kaepernick nope cam choked in the sb
+Football Master760 he was still mvp
+Football Master760 at least he was in the SB
WELL LITTLE KID. WHO'S THE ONLY UNDEFEATED TEAM RIGHT NOW! 13-0 AND UP!
you mean 19-0
you mean 18-1
+Gavin Da Boss not to the patriots
+Gavin Da Boss so your saying the Panthers are gonna win the superbowl
no now they are 15-4
Cam Newton comes in at No. 73 on the Top 100 Players of 2015. Do you agree?
NO, YEAH HES A BIG PHYSICAL QB WHO CAN RUN & AT TIMES PUTS GOOD TOUCH ON THE BALL BUT IMO HIS LEGS GOT HIM THIS FAR NOT HIS ARM! BUT SOME #RESECT FOR HIM!!!
well, you guys put Matt Ryan behind him at 77, and there's no way in hell Newton is a better QB...
I think 60-50s would have been better placement.
No
He doesn't deserve this hate, he is such a good guy, he works with kids, had broken ribs and still gets hate.
Their just mad that their team didn't make it to the play-offs.
Remember player's vote :3
They better remember that the panthers are still 6-0
+Beans Theorem 14 boooyyyyy gang gang
He ripped down a packer flag and threw a Seattle flag yeah he's a "good guy"
Aaron Rodgers having a bad year still threw less picks
+Unknown dude the packer flag was huge. It was even a flag it was A BANNER. He was just trying to protect his turf that green bay fan was just disrespectful. And the seahawks flag was being waved obnoxiously in his face. I would have thrown the damn flag as well
What the heck was that kid thinking? Cam is bad? Has he ever seen a cowboys game?
Bobby Joe Ninety Romo is one of the best QB's in the game.
Poke Tyranno 58 FOH! 11 years and 1 playoff win..dudes GARBAGE
Cameron Collins Lmao!
The team is garbage. He has one of the best QB ratings of all time. He has thrown like 3 bad picks that stand out. So has Manning. But Manning's teams were always STACKED.

Little boy is a savage
He'll be number one this year, just like Manning in 2013, he had an amazing regular season and won the MVP, but lost in the Super Bowl badly.
Badly?
Lost? How naive! The game was decided before it even began. You must not watch the Panthers games a lot.
hes probably gonna be 3
he is #1
What a joke...
0:24 that little boy is eating tf out of his words now
😂
+Bency Geneus truuuu
yeah kid looks like a fool now
LMAO HE IS TEN.. TF. yall chill out
Stephen Carter never too young to be a hypocrite
I'd take Cam Newton over Colin Kaepernick all day any day.
24 to 73... What the hell? Didn't this guy play hurt through the whole season and still led his team to the playoffs back to back years and won a playoff game? He doesn't deserve any higher IMO.
Not only that but REALLY.... on putting the little kid talking nonsense smdh it baffles my mind to why they ALWAYS try to make him look bad FOH!
Ginger4Life He definitely deserves to be atleast a top 50,40 player on this list. When healthy he is hands down one of the best players in the NFL, his stats fell off this season but that was given with all of the problems the Panthers had and those 2 missed games.

Fax 💯
From #73 to #1.. Damn. He grindin 💦👏🏼
I personally don't like Cam because I'm a Dirty Bird but you gotta admit, if you lose your best receiver and is still undefeated... NFL 2015-2016
I can't image how crazy they will be with kelvin Benjamin
boi were you wrong
Cam newton is the best dual threat QB in the nfl, with his throwing arm and his legs he is the man!!! Cam newton has talent!!! He is electrifying!!!
Why they say he wasn't ranked last year? He was number 24 last year
Pablo Rivas Been trying to figure that out all day!!!
Because the media for whatever reason HATES him...anything he does they belittle it...or portray him in a negative way...I have wondered this from day 1 2011
Courtney Sharp because he frankly sucked most of the season and is incosistent
nicholas williamson name me a QB who could play at a high level with unfa's blocking for you and ankle ribs throwing hand thumb and fractured back in 2 places ..and still singlehandedly carry them to a playoff win..I'll wait......

Madden 17 cover, Most Valuable Player Award, A top 5 nod in the top 100 of 2016, and most importantly.. I hope for a Superbowl Ring.
Oh he's gonna be in the Top 10 after this year
Bruh
He went through a hell on earth, and managed to snag over four wins after broken ribs and a playoff win, he should have been 43-68.
Top 3 this years top 100
Cam newton is my idol and my favorite nfl player
Wonder what that kid is saying now
Cam Newton will get a Super Bowl Ring soon. The guy is a beast. I can see it happening this upcoming football season in fact.
great prediction
+Mac Orelus haha yes sir
went from 73 to 1

You'd be surprised
+Logan Smith grammars bro.
despite the rough season that year, the panthers fought through it and still manged a playoff win
Matt Ryan Stats 2015: 4,893 Total Yards
Cam Newton Stats 2015: 3,666 Total Yards
Why Exactly is he ahead of Matt Ryan?
EasyEasy123 Because Cam lead his team to an NFC South championship, playoff victory, and he put up respectable numbers despite being pretty badly injured all season and missing a couple games and only having 1 WR and 1 TE that could be deemed reliable. Matt Ryan has one of the best sets of offensive weapons in football...and still can't with the NFC South.

Wait, why am I arguing? Everybody in the league already knows how good he is. Your opinion literally doesn't matter.
Best set of offensive weapons? He has Julio thats its.
He has:
The worst defense in the league
Worst O-Line
No running game
It doesnt matter that he has julio the rest of the team was terrible.
cam newton is underated 73 come on he had so many injuries and still lead them to the playoffs 25 or 15 at least

The Panthers are gonna be a top 2-3 defense (mark me words) and we're gonna wreck shop this season.
great prediction
73 to 1 LETS GO !!!! PANTHER NATION
Cam newton is overrated Shouldn't be ahead of Matty ice
+oliver reyes What about now?? LOL.
My boy Cam
Cam Newton is overrated
Stfu
+Chris Brown you mad bro??
More like underrated
Lol more like underrated
His ranking will go way up this year. Probably top ten at the very least.
i love you cam
73 now hes a contender for mvp
Shoulda been higher, even with the injuries. Name any other qb that can have 3 separate injuries (including a near death car accident) and still lead his team to a playoff win.
He's a beast, but I'd like to see Joe Webb play some QB for us lol. He is extremely similar to Cam physically, yet since he was never given hype in college he's our QB3 and speed guy on our special teams. Monsters... both of them!
B0SSNINE Don't ever speak on this team again, you are no longer a fan.
Cam newton will be number one this year, bet on that!
+ImToo Tired Cam Newton tried to bet but got arrested for it. GOTTEM
+Seth Lopez yes he will
+Seth Lopez lol I'm guessing u think Von will...
+Seth Lopez yea Von Miller did it all by himself... Khalil Mack out worked Von in the regular season...
ImToo Tired I think he meant to say lead the team not carry the team. Von was a major key into the broncos defense.
Thank God.
Gonna be in the Top 10 this year
If he wins MVP then he's probably going to be #1
+MaxAttack2000 Cam Newton Top 100: Number 1 for next season
+Seth Lopez he'll still be number one regardless of the Super Bowl.
+Seth Lopez manning was #1 after the Seahawks completely trashed him so I think cam will still be #1
My favorite QB!
#1 This year!
this is were cam really belongs on the list this year
I agree Cam Newton should be number 1 COM'OM
1:50 LMFAOOO "The Ambalam"
Hes got some badass recivers tho
Idc what people say, in his prime this guy was the most electric QB to ever play in the league
Can't wait to see the 2016
ranking. I think he'll be top
atleast 50.
he has to be at least top 5
cam is my idol
He makes our offensive line look good through scrambling, but seriously we need some new o linemen except for center
Funny how people forget to realize the man played the first half of the season hurt.came on late in the season won a playoff berth in Atlanta first back to back nfc south champs ever!!!! first playoff win played seattle tough through out the whole game but still they give the man no credit???? Guess haters gone hate
Preach
103 Million💰💰💯💯
Cam had some gold cleats
He needs to be higher this year.
73 to 1 wow
Number 1 player of 2016
That kid that said he was bad was surprised and he's like well now I miss under standed
Cam would have been even more amazing had he been a pocket passer who still used his legs to extend the play for a huge pass down field instead of being a rb at the qb position who still passes the ball.
No excuses this year cam!!!!!! U got paid now it's time to perform. Stats prediction. 3500 yds ,25 TD 13 int. 600 yds Rush 8 rush TD. Completion %62.
Cam will be #1 this year
Top 50 definitely
He should be in at least top 30
I never realized how big he is
back when they took there time making these, now it just seems like they’re rushed.
I like how people say he sucks yet they don't even play in the nfl
Super Bowl bound... NFL MVP..... 15-1 regular season... No.73 come on now
he can throw really good... CAM is a dad now...cause he has a son.,.. some people do not think he is a Dad but he is... so some people that think he is not a dad... there CRAZY...
PATRIOTS LEGEND TRIGGERED CAM NEWTON
Now hes leading the Panthers to a 11-0 record
cam is live
Should be #1 this year... and for many... many to come, dude still hasn't hit his ceiling yet.
Yes of course his my favorite football player his going to the finils
now he deserves to be top 10
No
+Der Hedrites Cam had a great game in the NFC Championship game i guess he still not in your top 10 lol
1:12 indian kid may not have gotten an autograph but now he is happy with the panther's defeat
Panthers stepped it the fuck up this year.
he should be in the top 3 he did better then any qb
Now look at cam undefeated in the 2015 season
cam Newton is the best is a good player
yo cam only throw a couple picks but he still nice.i say #1
can is the best no matter what he is just the best people might not like him but I do my mom and dad he is a great QB ever
You need more education
lol When Dee Ford says swag.
GOAT
Now he's an MVP candidate.... Interesting
