It's rare and beautiful to see a couple whose wealth is measured by what really matters and endures, real love. To me, that isn't infatuation, but is selfless care and kindness for each other.
My hubby has ms too and his mobility is limited but I let him do what he can we stay positive we laugh and we fight but at the end of a day we will always have each other back

Sadly this cuts both ways. Men are just as prone to cut and run in times of trouble as women are. It's not a competition. It's simply a statement of facts. Most marriages today fold at the first sign of trouble or a disease with such ugly side effects as Progressive MS. Anything that forces one partner to be dependent on the other SHOULD bring out the marriage vow of " for better or worse, in sickness or in health". It's def not easy to adjust to these changes and I've no idea how anyone does it without A STRONG FAITH in GOD the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. I lost my 25yr old only son to suicide in Jan 2007 that left me a disabled pensioner to take on the full care of raising his 4yr son,( I'd been main carer of him since he was born and at age 2, I put the birth mother in Mental health facility as I was not capable of helping all 3 of them at the same time. The birth mother already had a 31/2'yr old when my grson was born. That was from a disfunctiobal relationship also. She chose to get pregnant to my son in an attempt to get into our family. Shr thought she'd marry Dave and we'd all take care of her. She was getting mental health help thru-out the pregnancy but there was no relationship between her and and my son. He assumed she was was capable of raising their son as as she already had a kid and his expectation of a mother was me. I'm fat from perfect, but I had a lively relationship with my son. His older sister was tight with her Dad . We had divorced after 16yrs of my husband getting violent when he drank and esp around the financial pressures of Christmas. I met Jesus as my personal SAVIOUR and LORD around my daughters 1st bday, what a transformation but when he was drunk he hated that I held onto Jesus when he he'd start laying into me. He thought I was weird when Jesus transformed my life. Anyway ,it's a long story and I was just trying to say that without CHRIST as my Salvation and Rock I'd never have survived the suicide, or the raising of his son, or the day to day living knowing the grson ivraised has rejected his walk with Jesus and is a druggie. Homeless facing jail time next month. How she or I do this life without Jesus as our ROCK is something I don't understand. And I don't want to understand if it means living without Christ being the mantle of LOVE He is to me. At 70 and as a disabled pensioner due to a work back injury26 yrs ago and my exhusvand @75 with 6yrs of Prostate cancer we have been caste out of the house with separate living apartments, we have rented for 15yrs from our only daughter & her hubby cos they want more money!!! Now to live, we have to house share bcos we can't afford separate homes in this rental climate. It's funny how God has orchestrated this move that would have left me homeless and instead he moved my exhubbyvto feel compassionbtowards me and accepted we'd try and house share. A 4bedrokm house with 2 bathrooms to satisfy Centrelink that even tho we've been divorced nearly 30 yrs ,we are not in a relationship. The world is so back to front it doesn't want to accept people can be pleasant enough to each other to share a house, without being in a relationship. Esp at our age and state of medical problems that we spend most days in our separate rooms anyway. We only go out to shop or for Doctor appts. I own the only car. And we share that. Everything else we own our own stuff. I go out more to help my grson who has no car or money. Thankfully he's found a lady who is very loving and patient , together we're trying to restore some hope on himself. He's so into satan & his works that it's a long hard haul. But JEUS is my Rock. HE is the WAYMAKER, MIRACLE WORKER, PROMISE KEEPER, LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS. HE is everything we need. He shead His blood to redeem us all. One day Lachy will as a prodigal son and return in repentance to His CREATOR Almighty GOD.

Oh BTW you are communicating with a retired paramedic after serving 33 years so if I have seen one thing I have seen that thing multiple times, and the outcome is still the same in all cases. Blessed or not blessed you should think SAFTY FIRST! All after is the icing on the cake as they say. You do want to survive and thrive for another day, week, month… do you?
