really excited for the new support. and I like how test bear, the arguably least good card compared to the other 4 (I like it as a 1-of but some guys cut it entirely) is the only UR and the rest of the new cards will be cheap. that's a great design choice that we don't see often enough these days... btw do you think running 3 bear is worth it? it feels bricky to me. I would rather play more rescue cats instead. also I think I should sell retiari now before it gets reprinted lol (even though I like the d.d. crow effect)
When most of our lines are 2 card combos I don't think it's wise to cut engine so I'd personally keep bear at 3 until I have a reason not to Retiari is definitely optional, not a staple for the lines just as a tech fir certain matchups
i have been testing on mdpro 3 with some Horus gladbeasts.. safer plays, immseity gives a cycle as well to search for more gladbeasts king sarc and flavius both free hand dumps for more gladbeast action too.. you can dump any of the horus main decks for flavius you can dump glad beast with king sarc to dump horus md monsters. i think its something. Since i play ocg im gonna test next tuesday at locals
I've thought about the design for a "Gladiator Beast" card, and I think it's very balanced. It adds a bit of stability to the deck, so here’s the effect: Astradarus Gladiator Beast Beast-Warrior / Level 3 / Light 1000 ATK / 1000 DEF At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card has battled: you can shuffle this card into the Deck; Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster (except "Astradarus, Gladiator Beast") from your Deck. You can only use each of the following effects of "Astradarus, Gladiator Beast" once per turn: When a "Gladiator Beast" monster is Normal Summoned to your field: you can reveal this card and Special Summon a "Gladiator Beast" monster from your hand. At the end of the turn, if you used this effect, take 1000 damage. If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, the owner of this card gains 1000 LP. Nb:You can Special Summon any Gladiator Beast from your hand, including itself. If it’s a Beast-Warrior, it’ll be excellent because we won’t need to play it at three copies but rather one or two, and with Tenki, we can search for the Gladiator Beast we want. If it’s a Winged-Beast, it’ll make a good extender. WHAT do you think ?
I added a limit: the effect only activates if you Normal Summon a Gladiator Beast monster. This avoids too many summons. For example, if you have Magister, Equeste, and Astradarus (my new card), Astradarus won’t be able to activate its effect because you haven’t Normal Summoned a GB monster. So, it’s not too strong with Magister. It’s only really good if you have 4 or 5 GB monsters in hand, including a Magister (which is rare). It’s better to have a "Gladiator Beast" and "Magister" in hand (to activate Magister’s effect) than to have both Magister and Teste Tiger in your hand. Plus, Astradarus makes it easier to Summon the new Fusion since it’s an extra "Gladiator Beast" in the Graveyard. If you don’t have Magister in hand, Astradarus can help extend and start your combo.
The new GB cards seems to be counters for Tenpai Dragons with the wealth of battle/destruction protection they have Still, I don't think this will be meta with the lack of a hyper consistent one card combo.
Consistency seems like the only issue with this support, if we can figure out a list that opens full combo 90% of the time through 1/2 handtraps we can make this work.

When monsters is summoned at the same time nib only counts it as one it's like bottomless trap hole
Nib counts the number of bodies not the number of summons
