all these Star Wars hot toys announcements have all been great recently. Unsure if I have the money but I will try and get them. Obi wan Kenobi looks cool.
From a dude like me who collects 1/6 scale figures but isn't a huge fan of Star Wars, I've saved a good amount of money from all these Star Wars preorder announcements. And trust me, I was so tempted to dive into the HT Star Wars rabbit hole by impulse. Also, the Darth Maul looks incredible. I was going to just preorder him, but I whispered..."No." LOL! I preordered this Palpatine. I also have Clone Wars version on preorder. Trying to decide if I’m going to cancel. Probably will wait to see release photos.
I find the Sidious announcement before the TCW version releases very frustrating as they’re essentially the same outfit but ones based on animation. Can’t decide if I should cancel my PO to get this one. Obi Wan in Mando armor is from an iconic episode but I’m fine not getting it. The Imperial Commando is so rough looking that I’m glad it’s exclusive so I won’t be tempted to get it.
I would just get the new version tbh and hunt for the other sculpt from the CW down the line. That’s what I would do, and yea I don’t need any of the other two. Thanks for watching and giving great thoughts!
That imperial commando is literally a Hasbro moment. An animated style Hunter repaint with a realistic battlefront 2 commando helmet. It is inaccurate to the animated design, becouse it still has Hunters unique modifications, being more skinny than a regular commando, and it has a realistic helmet. And it is inaccurate to the Realistic design, as exept the helmet it has the animated style body proportions (not to mention it has Hunters skinny proportions, wich are absolutely inaccurate to the regular commandos). The only difference between this figure and Hasbros is the pricetag. For this price, it should be at least be an accurate depiction of a commando armor. Now even if they will ever do Delta Squad, or at least Scorch, they would definetely all have these half animated, half realistic, Hunter proportions, meanwhile if they made an actual realistic commando based on the battlefront 2 model, they could repaint it multiple time and it would sell well and would be accurate.
If they are doing ROTS darth sidious now although anniversary is next year, is there a possibility that we might get general grievous as well? hmm.....
I personally feel that the word exclusive has lost its special morale because I look at the Obi-Wan Mandalorian and that Trooper commander and that doesn't say exclusive if it was for Palpatine absolutely cuz that one hasn't been done especially that design and it's getting to the point with some figures that instead of collectors making the decision of when to purchase figures Hot Toys is making the decision for collectors when you need to get them is either you're in the queue on the time that we say or you join the waitlist which some people could possibly say that they're getting tired of Star Wars figures but I think they're getting tired of their bank accounts dropping with so many Artisans and more exclusive figures how can people keep up especially when they want to do it on a budget but if you ask hot toys that's not their problem

Im made because I pre order the CW Sidious, now this one came out, when they could of gave us two head sculpts.
