Thank you for actually incorporating the ships design into the crew quarters. It is the one thing that drives me nuts during your tours- the ship looks great then you come to the crew quarters and they are absolutely horrible. No color, just straight utilitarian. I am also liking the galley design as well. Loving it!video was worth the wait!!
Crew quarters are superb. They are designed with respect to the crew. Most big yachts have a combined shower and toilet, shower once and everything is wet, you cannot leaven anything in that room. Everytime getting your stuff out of the room when you have a shower. To have seperate toilet from the shower is amazing. I think it creates rest & peace for the crew. I think the crew would feel at home with that.
Those doors for the washer and dryer should, once open, slide in alongside the washer/dryer so they can be out of the way for traffic as well as for the person working with them. So, open them then push them into the wall space between the washer/dryer so only the hand sticks out.
I love the brightness everywhere. You have designed a yacht that looks and feels like a warm home. The woodwork I've seen so far is subtle. Not overbearing. The galley is laid out quite nicely. The crew quarters are outstanding. You and your design team have created a visual, and functional galley and crew area.
This is awesome!!!! Caring about your crew/employees is a breath of fresh air. Seeing other gorgeous, even opulent yachts that have horrible space for their crew really bothers me. What you have designed is beautiful and thoughtful. Great job!💜
✅ You guys should put a dumb waiter in your kitchen to carry food, plates, wine etc through multiple levels to say you carrying things up and down stairs. It should be on your "must have" list, especially for charters.
Very interesting video and boy aren't Bering getting some great exposure showing all the work that goes into the making of a yacht of this calibre. Having said that, won't these girls on the laptops and all of the interior designers be relieved when you finally take ownership? 😂
Victoria, you can get corner shelves that fit in that corner cabinet that actually pulls out on an angle which would give you total usage of the space that a lazy Susan doesnt.
I like that you're keeping the same design in the crew quarters as in the rest of the ship. That is what I would do too. Makes it work as another passenger cabin when you aren't doing charters. Gotta say the galley looks great too! I know my wife would approve 😅
I've been watching your videos for awhile now and I fell in love with the Bering Explorer Series. When I found out you were going to build your own boat, I just knew that it would be a Bering.
I love the plans for the galley and the crews' quarters. Very efficient and it looks like it's well laid out. I know you're on pins and needles waiting on this yacht to be completed. I can't wait for the day(s) you tour your yacht on NautiStyles.
I think it's some of the best crew area I've seen. It's such an accessible area, whether for working (galley/laundry) or personal space. Crew should like it, especially a couple. I love the galley layout. The beam of this boat is really showing, I think.
Enjoy the build process. Nice to see a lot of extra care going towards the crew areas. The extra effort to make the crew comfortable I imagine will be appreciated by them. When I say comfortable, I don't mean just their living space, but the work environment overall.
One day very soon we will be able to walk in VR and design a boat and be able to select items and place it anywhere we want, just being able to walk around in VR in your virturl boat will be awesome, and when your ready just click done and they can begin the process of building your boat.
When get into the details of laundry facilities. Consider the new heat pump washer/dryer all in one. Half the space required or twice the amount of laundry in the same space. No vent required, uses drain for both functions. Also lower electrical load.
Thank you for sharing your privately owners design of your yacht. ☺ Smile. This going to be very beautiful. The passion to be on the water is here because you two want to have a yacht and to be involved with total design of it!!!!☺ very nice. ☺ Smile.
It looks wonderful. But I’m going crazy with these mini reveals and then a two week wait for the next installment! We need to “binge watch” all of this! 🤣.
10:42 Be neat if that desk had a set of track on the wall so you could raise it all the up to got out of the way, standing height for a standing desk and a seated desk position. A right sized folding chair could be stored in a hanging locker when not needed.
The passion and attention to detail you have given to every aspect of your design is incredible … a direct reflection of your experience and character. Congratulations, the results are impressive to say the least❗️😍 👍
Look into hooks which are flush with the wall but can pop out. That bathroom room inside/on the back of closet doors would benefit from this type of hook. Cannot go wrong. And regulation towels with an extra strip so that the can be hung if not on rail. You may want external hooks for swimmers towels. Things can end up in the water. Will room numbers ve embroidered on towels?
This one's for Rico. Not my boat, and I do love the idea of having the monitor/repeater available in the galley. I see there is a window to the immediate left at a 90° angle. Hopefully the glare won't completely wipe out the visibility of the monitor.
The crew quarters are beautiful!!! I love that you have given them each a hanging locker and all those drawers! There is so much storage! I also love that bright and airy bathroom! If I come work for you, I call dibs on the side of the bed next to the table! Ok, seriously, I think you should add a recessed cubby or shelf on the far wall of the crew quarters, with an outlet. The 1/2 of the couple who gets that side of the bed should have a place to put a book or charge their phone or place a glass of water. Also, they should have their own reading light. Not, "Honey, can you pass me the water?", "Honey, can you turn off my alarm, over there?" You get it. I also love the idea of that display screen, so you can put up stuff from the bridge! I think that you will get so much use out of it!!! So much exciting progress must be happening on your boat since the day of this tour!!!
I am thrilled for y'all with the new build. I do feel that the Lady is being dated already with all the sterile lacquer walls. Remember all the amazing comments y'all get when you show us the yachts with their gorgeous wood. Is there a way to incorporate some wood in the interior? It would bring a warmer feeling to the interior. The crew quarters seem so spacious.
Just awesome...! I really cannot wait to see her finished Victoria and Rico. She’s going to be warm and inviting. She’s going to be magnificent... Again, I cannot wait to see her finished. Keep on keeping on! 👍🏻😎
Those renderings really give you a feel for how it's going to look, and I'm loving the style. You have quite an awesome team of people working to make your dreams a reality. I'd love to book a trip with y'all someday- I'd even sleep in the engine room! 🤣
The crew quarters look really good. For working on a desk i prefer a chair with a back rest. Maybe the chair will occupy some space, but even when the desk dropped down, it's a solution to put on your socks for the guy who sleeps on the pullman bad?!
Very nice. Having grown up working is restaurants, bas and motels; I judge boats on how the owners have designed crew quarters. Good boat owners make their crew quarters not only comfortable, but livable. Ya'll have done good. A chef/stew/deck hand couple along with yourselves will be a good team.
Honestly can't remember seeing a more well thought out and inviting crew quarters in a yacht that size. Most of them make me feel sorry for anyone occupying them. Very well done as usual! 👍🙂
Guys - really great. One further comment and suggestion about electricity/power outlets. Everyone today sleeps with their phones for the obvious and also for the alarm/clock. You need to provide Charging Points/USB outlets at the pullman height and also both sides of the bed. And of course at the desk - probably 2x.
Excited for you two.! It must be a fun process. Excitement, nervousness, anticipatiion. Lots and lots of work you have both put in! God bless your endeavours.
As many here has commented, happy crew, happy life?? If you make the effort to look after the crew they will look after you and your guests. In the Army it was known as "Man management" and the motto was "It is ok to care for your Privates, just don't get caught playing with them.'
Awesome looking design so far. I think crew will be happy with a regular shower instead of a wet head. You guys have really maximized every square inch. So happy for you.
Hi there Vic tour of your new boat was good but one thing I think at the beginning of it where you are talking about the gallery, the bar stools wouldn't it be better if they have a slight back to them just a thought as your guests might want to sit in comfort.
looking great! the kitchen is super functional and the crew quarters are well designed. I there a sound system video coming up. I wish you patients and kindness during your build. All the best Mark from Seattle Washington
Really enjoying this series. It is actually more compelling than here is a yacht with a crew of 50, and here is the 10 million dollars chandelier, etc…. Although that $70,000 self cleaning steam oven would be nice.
Looks great so far. Two small questions. 1) Where will the crew do ironing, I didn't see space for an Irioning board? 2) Will there be a small tv/monitor in the crew area showing chart progress and ship status?

It's cool watching you and the Wynns go through the same thing at the same time.
they are almost done! almost!
@@NautiGuys I'm looking forward to their shakedown cruise, and I assume that is important on a much larger yacht like the one you will have.
Those doors for the washer and dryer should, once open, slide in alongside the washer/dryer so they can be out of the way for traffic as well as for the person working with them. So, open them then push them into the wall space between the washer/dryer so only the hand sticks out.
You have improved the crew quarters considerably. A happy crew makes a happy ship. Cannot wait for your first charter experience.
so do we
I have always believed take care of your people and your people will take care of you
When is the projected completion date? Thanks in advance.@@NautiGuys

Looking good guys!! Once the audio is in, please have Rico do a whole episode just on the entertainment on board!
oh you know we will lol
Really, really, really nice! All your and the Baring staff’s efforts are paying off.
Much appreciated!
In the crew quarters a stool with a pop off lid for more storage.
Or a foldaway chair which can be hung by a hook. The hook could be high or low.
Thanks you for the suggestion!
Woah, that 3D modeling is very neat.
love it!
