I love the scene where Kayo is presented with an actual breakfast and breaks down crying after a flashback to her mom leaving her cup ramen, a piece of bread or some money to buy breakfast. It just goes to show that most of us don’t know what we actually have. While others have less, we take the things we have for granted when someone else would kill for it.
The song that plays when these two have great moments together is beautiful and great in the moment. It plays several times like when he found her in the park and said he was going to be more honest with her.
Honestly the saddest part for me was that a Hero like Satoru who saved people's life had to give up his 15 years of precious life when all his friends lived a happy life that was more sad for me I wish he would have got the chance to live his teen life :(
If only she had waited even though it sounds impossible and selfish.. They would have been in perfect age for each other.. that would have been great ending
I’ve only watched this anime once, if I remember correctly the two loyal friends are the teenage girl at ep 1 and the one that named after a African country, when he first went back in time, of course the mom but that 2 be expected
They probobly did not ship them with the main character cause he was like in the 20s when he saved kayo so i can see why but at leat make kayo marry someone we dont know
I'm glad they don't end up together, if you guys were smart enough, you'd realize even if he was still in his child body, he still had the mind of an adult. It's not that hard people come on
Imagine caring about an ethical dilemma about fictional characters that don't exist in a situation that involves time travel...but if we are going to play this game then what's the harm in him befriending Kayo as a 28yr old in his 11yr old body and then ending up together later in the future when they are the same age? When people talk about them wanting to end up together I don't think they are talking about when they are 11years old...they're probably talking about when Satoru wakes up from his coma to find that Kayo is married with a child. Regardless this is dumb and I can't even believe I typed this reply out lmao
Well what about in his coma ? When they both have the same age ( though his mind is still 29 but his body is 25 regardless is still kinda feel nice for them to end up together at that year after all they are old) but since he went to a coma and Kayo didn't wait for him, but what if he went back in time again and change everything correctly ( In which they found out the killer) He still could end up with her but again he have to redo everything in his life at that time and he's gona be 29 mentally while Kayo is 10 but I did think that if he change something in the past he will go back in the present times in which he can live his life just like the other episode shows where he was sent back to the future after failing his goals for Kayo and then he wanted it to change it again and basically they give him a chance to go back to the past again and with that he might even end up with her at that point. But again the story was already finish and we can't change it, so we just have to think our own endings in order to accept it😭

The one mystery that was never solved at the end:
*WHY TF THESE TWO DIDN’T END UP TOGETHER*
And why Hiromi 0 chemistry
Because not every anime writer is pedo its really good tho
@@ifuckinghatebarking you’re right, it’s only fair. Satoru himself would’ve 100% wanted her to continue living her life.
