    Regarding the shock absorbers I would like to ask you, that you can provide us(me;-) a deeper look inside the absorber and the relation of the technical details to the handling?

    For racing sway anti roll bars are great. However, for street driving with potholes, bad roads etc., they are not the best rattle vehicle etc? Your thoughts overall?

    One of the really big things I learned was how tuning the cars differential can help the car turn u don't get that adjustment till u get to a real race car...so u don't know.

    so if i have a fwd that tends to understeer, should i put a better rear sway bar to correct this?

    • @TheChannel1978
      @TheChannel1978 7 років тому +6

      No, if it understeers your problem is at the front axle and you should try to correct that first, before looking at the rear axle. It's at the end of the video, basically soften the front by either softening anti roll bar, dampers, springs or reducing ride height. That's the order you would do it in as well idea being changing as little as possible else. For example ride height changes a lot of other things, so you don't want to mess with it necessaritly

    Why not run soft corner springs and hard heave springs?

    I got a civic ep3 and the ride is superstiff what can I do to make it more comfortable? flexible or rigid springs?

      A but higher ride height, softer springs. Try compounding 2 different rates of springs, so you can go soft, but right before you would begin to reach a dead stop on your suspension it keeps it smooth. Also, street cars are supposed to have street car suspension. Be smart, don't act like your civic needs a track suspension. Performance for a street car is being able to hook all 4 wheels on bad terrain. So a hard suspension is a big loss of performance for the road

    so how to increase handling of the car to the ground ?

    • @soto575
      @soto575 7 років тому

      with a new suspension... Springs, Shocks is the best and easy way to do it also you may want to lower it .. or with a better tiers but they are expensive ..

      Of course you are! Simulation and dealing with real forces are two entirely different things. You can't compare a video game with the real deal (coming from an ex hardcore gamer)
