That's the point of a full breaky, lots of food for cheap in local cafes. Locally ours is roughly £7.50 to £10.00 for medium sized breakfast potentially incluing tea or coffee. It did look good though. ❤

If you sit by the bathroom with the door open you get a slight hint of piss and bring a British friend and you close your eyes take a bite breathe through your nose and listen to your friend you think you are back in England

I live about 45 minutes from Anstruther fish and Chip shop in Scotland and I've never tasted better fish and chips elsewhere.It's continually voted up there as one of the best in the UK in polls.It's right on the coast so as fresh as it gets. The Shetland Isles was a close second.Scotland has some of the best seafood in the world in my biased opinion.

Fish and chips is seriously underrated in the states. We had a spot in my hometown growing up (my family was from Scotland, I was born here), and it was always a phenomenal weekend when we went. We eat too much chicken, we easily overlook a good flakey cod.
My Mum's side of the family, her Father was Scottish 😊. That actually sounds amazing dude, if I am ever in America, I'd definitely give the flakey cod a go 😍🥰 I'm from Australia so we got some amazing fish and chip shops here, we are known for our chicken salt 😂 I know, it sounds weird at a fish and chip shop but it's absolutely amazing on chips 🤤😍 sucks that the fish and chips shops are underrated in the US 😭 it's always a really good treat!

I’m Australian too and live in California now. I recently discovered an American version of baked beans that’s somewhat similar to the baked beans I had growing up in Australia. So I’m happily eating baked beans on toast again. Still looking for a half decent fish and chip place here.
i promise you it isnt as bad as its made out to be, i love the stuff, its really good if you need an iron pick me up too xD people think its actual blood when it isnt, the blood goes through a process and turns into a powder(dried blood)(people think its raw blood alot), thats used for the black pudding, completely safe to eat! also the white bits arent fat, its barley!

I think most British food is delicious. The exceptions for me are the mushy peas (tasteless) and the bacon (just a bunch of fat) and any kind of blood or black pudding. (Honestly, I can't bring myself to even try it. It makes my stomach clench to even think about it). And I actually grew up eating beans on toast, even as an American
I totally get the pie and mash in England.....the weather is cold and wet so the potatoes mashed are hot with the pie and sauce with a little spices they'll warm you up!!
