The Traxxas Drag slash is a wheelie monster. We tested this RC drag truck right out of the box with a 2s lipo and got a perfectly straight run with the front wheels up. This RC drag car is a great way to get started in no prep drag racing.

Both my 4x4 Rustler and Maxx does wheelies for miles , so does just about any RC car or truck.

Lower the wheelie bar to the second hole and it won’t wheelie like that
And loosen up the slipper 1/8” at a time til you can launch full throttle almost no wheelie
Or take the weights off the back. 🤷🏻

This was a completely stock truck.. I was just at an event in New Jersey. The guy who won street eliminator 2s lipo class ran 1.69 seconds in 132 ft.
Wasn't sure if it had front brakes or he was holding it but that thing is a beast
They have what is essentially a trans brake. A button you can hold on the controller.

What's that running the 3s I'm Running 2s - 5000mah - Traxxas believe its 30C not to sure but yes I'm getting almost the very same performance out of mine running 2s as I don't yet have a Motor Fan and seems to be fairly hot with it on 2s and try to not over heat it i really dont like to do that to them as i live in Ontario, Canada and have several come months and winter so when she runs that hot the sweat inside in the cool down so have to be careful had a servo short out and some how blew a Speed Controller out of my Traxxas Rustler ! I have 3 Rustler's, Drag Slash, and the vxl Bandit ! Also have the Tmaxx Nitro and a HPI SavageX and Team Associated DR10 Drag car with a 1969 or 1970 Barracuda Body with Losi 22s front Back Rims licensed Micky Thompson's on the rear and Proline's on the front she a Beauty and was running Castle 3300kv motor with a Castle Sidewinder3 ESC, then was updated to the VXL complete combo Motor & ESC with 2075x Traxxs Servo ! Now sitting here with no ESC & Motor cause the Motor was little older and heated up fairly hot several times cause pulled from the Bandit an put the setup (motor & esc) that Team Associated Ken Block Hoonitruck comes with that was just newly released cause friend bought it new pulled it right away and my wife's looking to have one with the you ger kids so that's the setup for them in the Bandit now but the motor was beat in it then my Rustler then the DR10 Cuda lol but yeah Just love this truck mine the 2022 release with the 292 Magnum Aluminum Motor mount and Fully Sealed Transmission !! Just amazing the feel is SOOO MUCH BETTER then the older style they had ! Although went through 3 them in my Rustler but I still say they decent for a non sealed differential and plastic cases gearing and is durable as shit for the fact its plastic Motor Mount as well !!

right out of the box.. the only thing I changed was 2s to 3s lipo .TSM was on but only controls the steering. I never have a chance to use the drag truck. I race the Traxxas Slash on the dirt oval in the Mudboss class, I have 4 of them..
