I've loved the band pod for years and seen them in Norfolk, VA in the 80's my son got to go on stage and sing the song youth of the nation with them , this video has really touched my heart since I saw my father a week before he died . I'm a Whosoever and I thank you Sony for your testimony

Sonny is a guy just like you and me... F bombs or not most of us had use this word before and after believing in God and Jesus.. In your mind or out loud like Sonny but you know I got the point, many ppl out there that listen to "I a`m" Will ask themselves Who the heck is this guy... is he really christian? and will listen to most of the other songs and at the end we realize that God has changed his life...Sonny is so in love with Jesus, he speaks with love about how Jesus died for us... His testimony about knowing Jesus is way shocking! An the problem of those who don't believe is, US THAT BELIEVE.. You know why?... Cuz we are the very first to point our bloody finger at them.. instead of loving as Jesus love us before.. Jesus did not make an exception not even when Maria came to Him asking for forgiveness. But what we ALL must understand, and not just jump to emotionally driven opinions, is what does God's Word say? Let me fist say I love POD, so im not taking sides, but the truth is, God says we are to put away all filthy talk, even "coarse joking" should be done away with. "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only what is useful for building others up". As much as we can like or even look up to Sonny, we should be looking up to Jesus & His Word all the more. I don't condemn Sonny, we are all sinners, but none of us are above correction, and even rebuke if warranted, based on Gods Word. Paul & other apostles gave out much correction & rebuke when needed. We Just have to be HUMBLE enough to accept it if its warranted. I connected with Sonny on many levels. I'm Mexican with a catholic background and my mom has been in and out of hospitals in the past couple of years. I stayed with her always and even put my dreams on hold for her to make sure she was ok when she went to Texas and Mexico with her family. My mom always has god in her life and is religious to the bone. I was a confused kid growing up smoking getting high and drunk with friends and my life has been changing over the years. I thank god for everything in my life and continue to pray to him every day. when I was younger I didn't have a strong relationship with God until I got older. I know things will be better with due time. I hold on to my faith believing in myself believing in God and staying positive throughout. I may fall off my tracks but I get back on quickly. I bounce back and I continue on my journey. It's funny how things work in this world and not everyone makes it. I didn't know this about the lead singer of P.O.D Sonny until today and I think he is even cooler cause of this. He is like my godbrother in a way and that's cool. My godbrother actually introduced me to P.O.D. when I was in my teen years over 17 years ago. Is it a coincidence? I don't know you tell me.
