for those talking about the waste of money: consider Vodafone sponsored it, and consider how many people come to London every year from all over Europe and the world to see the fireworks (including me) and give londoners bars, hotels, pubs, attractions etc. MONEY!!!!! so many people gain money thanks to these fireworks!
@@vg_astxro757 In 2017, when America and Britain were most recently compared for "knife-crime", the US had a higher knife crime rate than Britain did (USA 0.49 per member of the population, Britain 0.48 per member of the population). *And your country has had more school-shootings in 2 weeks than mine has had in its entire history.*
i'm from Australia and without a doubt, London Fireworks display had been amazing year after year.. music is brilliant and is completely in sync with the fireworks as well.. definitely in my bucket list to spend NYE there one day!
I also LOVED the 4D experience there. (the worlds first extra-sensory fireworks show). London is always so creative with things like this. You could actually taste the fireworks. When the fireworks went orange you could taste oranges, when it snowed peach coloured snow you could taste peaches. When there were red fireworks you could smell strawberries and so on. It was great!
London... amazing city, fantastic people, great taste rich history, the lot. Epitomizes what it means to be a first class city. What a breathtakingly beautiful display. Long live London, The City.
How can you not appreciate this? it's Art in motion my friends, not to mention a celebration of life itself ...you do remember what fun is right???!!! :D Laughings !
@@ItsAdamHere haha wow, do u mean u watch my videos or are you a fan of London fireworks? 😁😁 I actually seen these 2014 fireworks live back then, was right in the middle of that crowd! Hope you’re doing great buddy and all the best 👍👍👍
Would just like to say a big thank you to Boris and the great work to the guys that spend the whole year preparing for this and making it happen. Just truly amazing how they sync the fireworks to the music.
I had the pleasure of seeing these first hand this year, my wife and I planned our honeymoon around spending new years in London. Spectacular experience, especially compared to our small town in NB Canada where we do literally nothing for New Years but watch others celebrate on TV. I will definitely be back.
The first eight minutes were pretty good, but last years was better. The last two minutes or so were absolutely fucking epic though. I love the end when they throw EVERYTHING up, and it absolutely blinds. Awesome. Happy New Year!
We were lucky enough to visit London on New Year's Eve and view these spectacular fireworks! The stations coming back were chaotic but it was all worth it in the end.
So proud to be British - London always does me proud, Well Done London, you're the best ;) I am laughing at those who disliked this, they're just jealous of us Brits as we do try our hardest. Kudos to London, you rock ;)
This is the best firework display ever! Kimbolton Fireworks done a fantastic job on the fireworks this year and Vodafone also done a great job on the multi-sensory part.
Seems to be a growing trend every new year. It will probably become a TV show in the future like eurovision, which major city can give the best firework display.
i remember seeing this while i was at my mates house it was amazing everyone shouting happy new year and hugging and drinking and everything was a right laugh i loved it this year is gonna be awesome i can just feel it :)
To people who thinks this is a waste of money... No it isnt, this happens once a year and attracts tons of tourists, who spends much more than the fireworks costs. Plus without some celebrations and high hope for a new year then we're just a bunch of zombies...
Always I miss this for so many people around that place but this year I can enjoy this from my apartment because London Eye view is very clear from my window
It makes me sad to see that all of those people had the greatest view of the fireworks, and almost every single one of them recorded the event on their smartphone instead of actually watching it. They are all looking through a screen when the real thing was right in front of their eyes. Is a couple of Facebook likes really worth missing out on a spectacular fireworks display?
I was there yesterday, and it is not for likes, it is a memory, been there waiting for 5 hours (at least that was me) is something you want to record and not just watch in youtube. In my case a record 5 min abd then watch the rest.
Ruben Reyes I was up on Primrose Hill yesterday with my girlfriend and we stood there in the mud and cold on top of the hill for three hours just for a good spot to see all the fireworks. Needless to say it was worth it and neither of us recorded the event because that would've ruined the moment. I guess you can say each to their own but live a little - life isn't on a screen it's right in front of you and in the future I fear people are going to waste it all away because they've become so obsessed with the little black box in their pocket instead of the big open world they live in.
I'm gonna miss this year, there's been tears, laughter and some great memories I'll always remember but the fact that it's amazing how times and people change in such a short time, that's the scary part
The money it cost was well spent. The place was filled with Americans, Canadians, Chinese, Italians and many other nationalities from around the world. Every time I asked why they were here for the NY they all said the same sort of things "we saw last years NY display on UA-cam and had to be here to see it for our selves". There was one American family who came in 2012 to see the fireworks after seeing them on youtube in 2011 (they were being interviewed by Sky News). They said they enjoyed the display and NY in London so much in 2012 that they had to come back. But this time they came with all their friends. So anyone saying its a wast of money are not thinking with their brains, Sadly. The money this display brings in regarding tourists well out ways the money these fireworks cost. The atmosphere there was amazing so its no wonder word of mouth has spread and London has become the place to be. Well done Boris!
