I've been waiting for this bike to launch in India for a long time now. Finally bought Duke 390 Gen 3 but if it comes to India then I'm gonna book it book without a second thought.
I'm having a hard time shifting while wheelieing because I use the clutch. I see you're clutchless shifting in the wheelie. Does this harm the transmission or is it safe to do?
I have owned 3 x mt09s a gen 1, gen2 and a gen 3, I have also owned two tracer 900s and two tracer 700s and I have also owned two mt07s…I decided to buy one more bike it would be my last bike for many years and it was going to be one of the mts….so I purchased a 2023 mt07 with the new tft dash because the mt09s are fast as hell yes but on some of the really small twisty roads in the uk they really are to much. And I always say it more fun to ride a smaller bike fast than a bigger bike slow…….the mt07 can be done like a sporty bike or you can have heated grips hand guards and touring screen and you have a naked/tourer……yes you can also do the same with the mt09s but the mt07 has the right amount of power in my opinion where has the mt09 has to much for some of the smaller roads…… I have more fun on the mt07 than the mt09 I have had akrapovics on all my bikes and had them tuned but for me the mt07 is perfect
I just installed a quick shifter on my 2021 empty 07 but I am not getting a good reading on the shift pressure sensor, did you have the same issue? How did you fix it?
@@VanTheDam its a sick bike i cant wheelie it well yet just tiny pops up now and again cant seem to hold it up im quite jerky on the throttle but the power delivery is excellent best bike ive ever owned so far. For long distance ride you can still ride aggressive and have no back or leg issues it’s fantastic wont be selling it for 3/4years

@@RWS0S1 you flick the throttle when you have low km/h ( close it a bit and then give it like 75% gas ) and use a little bit of rear brake ..also I have a smaller sprocket in the front which makes it more aggressive!. I've stopped doing that tho. I have learned clutch wheelies ,much more stable and you don't chase the wheelie !

Also a tank slaper machine at high speeds. Had a 200 kmh brutal tank slap on one of these but lived to tell the tale. U really need to be careful on these...

Well I learned it's basically a 700, looks like it shifts for ya at times? Quick shift meaning ? And that if you multiply km miles per hour by .621 you actually get the speed of..200 is around 124mph. 133 top end is kinda slow but ?
Top speed in 6th is a lot lower than 5th because the gear ratio is so long. Less than one I believe. I can hit 125ish pretty easy in 5th, but it really teters off in 6th. Be sitting around 118 for days and can't reach the top speeds like in non overdrive gears

Terrible suspension. You can't push this bike trough twisty roads cause it feels like a pogo-stick. Engine sounds good tho, but that's about it!

@Epsylepsy That depends on the rider. I ride with a buddy who scrapes his FZ07 pegs and leaves me in the dust. He hardly ever brake.

No it's not the R7's one.The bike was ordered with akrapovic exhaust and quickshifter long before R7's release

not really the case. That ride by wire is weird on these bikes a lot of people struggle to wheelie them the way an mt07 does.
