I recently tried to record one where everyone starts with claims on all provinces and it lagged worse than my shattered world timelapse. I'll have to see if cores runs any better. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey, I enjoy both your styles of timelapse, but this one is much less accessible for disabled people than your more smooth/filmed ones. The rapidly flickering lights can be a migraine/epilepsy trigger in a way that isn't as bad in the smoother filmed ones. :(
Chagatai were doing so good. Once they tasted the ocean the Qing's days were numbered. Stupid Mughals had to ruin it at the last second, though that was somewhat appropriate as the real Mughals were initially Chagatai speaking.
For my first few timelapses I estimated it and made a little animation in after effects to follow along. Now I use a modded UI that repositions the useful buttons to the bottom center.
POV: you're Spain after discovering the new world

chagatai got one last final "fuck you" before the game ended, fuck man, they almost became superchina.
Another fun side effect is that the AI usually doesn't want upstream trade provinces except when they're gold provinces.
Damn, really wanted to see that great standoff between Chagatai and Commonwealth. xD
if all provinces gold, no provinces gold
Maybe the real gold was the manpower we lost along the way?
People = We are starving, we need food.
Government = Don't worry, we have gold.

My favorite province was that little green guy between Chagatai and Kazan that just chilled like a boss all game.
Finally some timelapse where the Commonwealth doesn't collapse in the beginning of the game
Wait, did dalaskogen habe the modifier ”stora kopparberget” through out the game?

Watching Finland get annexed was so sad :(
Can you even have artillery without copper or iron provinces? I guess instead of bronze cannons there's golden cannons instead.
That would matter if the game was HoI or Victoria.
Ming probably had like 1000 income at the beggining and they still lost very fast
Every province gold and nations can fault their land to bank would be fun idea just to see how the ai copes with finances
Money makes ai a lot more peaceful
