So I was planning this other more elaborate music vid but then social isolation happened and I was like the show must go on! So I got my mum to film this on my iPhone and moved some books off my desk and hey presto we have a more homemade daydreams lyric vid which I hope u love ♥️ thank u for all the support and messages ur all sick it’s too fun being able to make music for the best people on the internet I’m so lucky

I love how ordinary and plain this video is.. it captures the concept of the banality of real life when you’re in the daydream phase. I know it wasn’t planned but it really really suits the song. This was perfectly done!!
Some parts of this melody are really special.
I underwent a period of depression because of the feeling of self-accusation. Yesterday night, it was raining heavily on the street. My mind was full of messy thoughts and I thought, "Oh, it's Spring now. it's my favorite season and should I make this moment memorable by representing it by a song?" I was just thinking, and listening to Daydreams, which I keep thinking back to my breakup memories. I closed my eyes and prepared to fall asleep again on this rainy day. But suddenly, I mean, unexpected, I heard those lyrics, "You step in from the storm, a stranger holds the door. And it's springtime." I suddenly opened my eyes. Springtime. Storm... I just stepped in from the past of tragedies, and I am prepared to move on. Thank you Maisie Peters for bringing me this courage to go ahead. Your songs are full of stories and good to enjoy!
