Ironically @Azzyland also does similar reaction vids and that artist Callen sent her an original painting as a thank you for always crediting him because Callen said it resulted in sales which im happy to hear. Too bad Azzy quit youtube since Lia bullied her off the platform. I know her content wasnt much better but at least she was a good person who gave important moral lessons to my kids and credited creators.

You don't have a clue about the situation. Lia was trying to sort out but because of time zones it made it difficult. When she could call the child was sleeping. The mother then decided to block her yet she was still doing everything to try and contact them. She eventually managed to get in touch and had a lengthy call with the child and donated. Lia wanted a longer call with the child and not just a 5 minute quick one people kept going on about. She was never ghosting the child,

As someone who grew up in the 70's and 80's and remembers how children's entertainment was before Reagan removed the limits on advertising to children and ruined everything, the Dharman/SSSniperwolf merch advertising to children is a new low. He-Man and G.I. Joe may have been program-length advertisements, but at least there was a plot besides "buy our stuff."

Yeah UA-cam kids is horrible they have no entertainment value, creativity, educational, or even making some thing that’s memorable. Kids should only watch something like ask the storybots(the only video on UA-cam they should watch apart from some exceptions). Other than that let them watch shows like ghost and molly McGee, big city greens, kiff, gumball, hamster and gretel, haileys on it, amphibia and Bluey among others. Kids deserve more creative and original shows that help fuels orginal stories and fuels making a show that will be remembered for generations and something that kids can look back on and enjoy them just as much as as a kid. Kids are not stupid and deserve better than UA-cam content farms, elsagate, and overstimulation lightshow content meant to overstimulation kids which can cause damages

Those Dhar Mann videos are so deeply unsettling, it weirdly reminds me of those christian propaganda movies? Like these bizarre elements of "there's so many bullies out to get us :(" and "they're all secretly just sad about their lives, it's a shame they haven't let jesus/gaming into their hearts :(" and the constant Wise Speeches(TM) from the good, godly characters, just... creepily inhuman behavior from everyone that really makes the viewer ask, "wait, do you honestly believe other people are like this?"

UA-camr Atozy read public lawsuit between Lia and her ex-husband, who use nick Sausage. In that lawsuit he admits to working on videos for her chanel including recording his gameplay for her to react and act as it's her game.
I recommend Atozy's video, because there is a lot of interesting information and I don't know english good enough to explein it.

What scares me most is that THESE are the kind of people children are looking up to and emulating.
I’ve heard of her bc my oldest daughter really liked her when she was in her pre-teens and younger and my youngest daughter really likes her and has for several years.
I just want to say though that whoever that actor is that plays Sam, the gamer girl in the Dhar Mann videos, is actually a good actor tbh. Like, the part where she was tearing up struck me and I feel like she was held back by the script and SSSniperwolf's half-assed flat acting

yeah i always notice how much the actors in Dhar Mann videos commit to the part and how hard they work. He lost a bunch of actors last year because they went on strike and he refused to meet with them. He's a horrible boss and doesn't realize how good he has it.

Sssniperwolfs affect and way of speaking in her reaction videos has always made me uncomfortable... The version she presents of herself has never seemed genuine to me and this whole matter just makes me even more uncomfortable and upset.
Adding SS to the beginning of any name always gives me concerns about the creator.
We watch sssniperwolf as a family (her appropriate videos) and I never thought about how she never credits people and only says a couple words to each video. Really eye opening

not only does it show the message your favorite adult influencer trying to take you out to dinner and give you expensive gifts is normal, it give kids the message a figure in their real life doing these things is a good thing, and not a potential threat. it kind of shows grooming tactics predators would use to get childrens trust and subliminal messages that this adult is the only person that understands them. i want to also say an adult trying to help or give gifts isnt always predatory, but it’s important the parents are aware of whats going on, but the video doesn’t show the parent’s involvement.
despite that, sssniperwolfs vids are really lacking any creativity, she basically is just narrating the videos and its really sad that she doesn’t link or credit most of the creators accounts. probably because it’ll get more ppl coming back to her videos instead of finding the original content

I know NerdCity made a video on her years ago, but it was more about her hypocrisy in regards to harping on women’s looks/edits when she’s had work done and continually made bad/obvious edits.

Lucky. Someone once recommended her videos to me and it was the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen or heard, and I have a nephew. It was a big load of nothing with bad editing, worse than the usual youtube poop. That this nothing is also plagiarized, apparently, is my boggle.

Wow, I've had my fair share of Dhar Mann watching Jarvis playing bingo on streams, but I had missed the crossover with SSSaiperwolf. It's gross. I've followed Jack's project on getting the owners of the clips she abuses to report, and I think it's been the right way to go about it. He said very clearly that he doesn't want people to dogpile on her. But since there's no other system to monitor this kind of use of other creators material, getting as many people to claim their own videos is the way to go. The more it happens, the clearer the message. It's hopefully also a message to UA-cam on behalf of smaller creators. UA-cam's endorsement of her is just that much more disappointing considering the existing issues with copyright, both the vague rules and easy to abuse claiming system on clearly fair use cases as well as the willful ignorance of clearly not fair use cases or lazy and abusive content. Both of which in my opinion more likely harm the small channels and private users for the benefit of companies and big creators. The aspect of manipulating young viewers is just a cherry on top.
A distinction needs to be made between reactors and creators. They are very different things, and rarely is reaction content worth anyone's time.

Back when she was just a gaming channel around like 2014, I was a big fan of hers and watched every video. I even had a t shirt of hers. I remember loving her dogs Kaz, Tuna and Luna, and being devastated with her and Mr. Sausage when Tuna was killed by both coyotes and the vet that milked them. I’d tune in for Ask Wolf “every single Sunday!” and just thought she was a really fun person.
I stopped watching over time, and years later, I discovered she’d started doing reaction content. I tried watching one video but she just wasn’t herself anymore. There was nothing genuine anymore, she was just a mean girl who made snarky comments. So I haven’t been back to her channel since.
It’s a shame to see what she’s become over the years, very disappointing.
Her audience has to be mostly kids because, from what I’ve seen, her videos are pretty boring. She also speaks in a kind of childlike/adolescent manner, so I could see how that would be appealing to kids. It’s odd, but to each their own. I’m not a fan of those types of reaction channels, they tend to unnecessarily yell a lot & that’s not my cuppa tea.

I’m struck by how much she sounds like she’s forcing a “JennaMarbles voice.” In the way she’s expressing awe and shock, and how she’s phrasing certain things. It just seems like even her “personality” is lifted off another creator.
Her vocal inflection REALLY ticks me off, that might be why
I used to watch and look up to her as a young little 12yr (17 now) until questioning trans me stumbled across a video of her slamming a frustrated trans woman who kept getting misgendered, going so far as to misgender her more so and make fun of her. for about a year that one video ruined my perception of myself, and being trans. leah needs to realise her demographic is young and impressionable. without that video I may have accepted myself as trans sooner. the same with her body shaming, women AND men. Do better.
The “it’s just gamer” video reminds me way too much of that Avril Lavigne OEL manga from the mid-2000s where it was all about some girl wishing for her hero Avril Lavigne to appear, only for her to appear. And that was the series. 😅I haven’t watched much Dharr Man, my only experience with that channel is other people talking about it and showing clips, but it’s just so…weird. The writing, the cadence, everything, it’s just so bizarre. It definitely feels like it talks down to the audience it’s pursuing.

She didnt give herself enough credit with her balloon attempt. The first half of the stream did actually do the thing, the pressure just wasnt enough to create the "frozen" effect at the peak of the arch.

I loved seeing your take on this. Dhar Mann videos really bother me, both as someone who has experience writing scripts and acting. I think many people probably think of his videos as wholesome, but many of the messages are not positive. I'm glad you pointed out that these videos depict Sssniperwolf doing the very thing that Colleen Ballinger is being called out for---trying to be besties with fans much younger than her. The videos are normalizing behavior that should be considered at least a little sus. Kids will often show up at their favorite influencer's house, because they don't understand boundaries. And here is Dhar Mann making a video showing Sssniperwolf showing up at the house of a total stranger, as if that is totally normal, just because of the parasocial relationship. And I do think it's hilarious that all these girls who think anime is for losers are so impressed when Sssniperwolf shows up dressed as an anime character, So they don't "instantly regret" bullying her because maybe people have different interests, and anime and cosplay is not a reason to be mean. But because....woah! A famous person likes those things! This isn't really teaching kids any positive lessons. Kids who bully often do grow up and regret it. But it's because they realize that no one deserves that. If they regret it because that person got rich and famous, and now they can't get anything from them, that's the wrong reason.
In the cyberbully dhar man skit, the child actor is pulling all the weight. Like the writing doesn't make it easy but her crying was genuinely pretty good, especially compared to the completely flat delivery from ssniperwolf
Dhar Mann's actors are way too good for him. He treated them so horribly when they went on strike.
Of course UA-cam (the company, I mean) loves SchutzstaffelSniperwolf. She churns out "content" that takes views away from TikTok and keeps it glued to their platform.
The only word I have for those adverts pretending to be short movies is "Cringe." Honestly I was glad when a UA-cam ad would start during those clips because those were less painful.
She's like that person who peaked in high school and so keeps showing up after graduating, except it's not even her high school!
Honestly, I think this is one of the better videos on SSSniperwolf because it really highlights the more insedious ways she and Dhar Man have manipulated their child audiences. The other videos come across more as "hey, this popular person is actually a massive dick!!" when there are way more layers to that. Yeah, it's not good to be a massive dick, but it's worse to be bombarding kids with subliminal messaging about how good you actually are at the same time yk?

TehMimi covers these things amazingly, she is one of my favorite youtubers who gives the facts and her own commentary on all of it. You also make amazing points about how sssniperwolf treats other women and how lackluster her content is.
She’s an OG of the commentary community as well, she’s been at it for over a decade now.
The fact that she knowingly either removes or zooms in when possible, to purposely not show the originators TikTok handle... inexcusable.

We need a content consumer's guide to detect shitty people because the fact that millions see this and ENJOY it or somehow ignore their instincts to not consume it is insane. You can tell all these people are shit from just how they talk. Sssniperwolf, Colleen, Shane, Jeff Starr, etc etc ETC. They all have a "vibe" and if I was one of these people who keeps finding out their fav creators are shitty people id be interested in learning how to detect it. People are excited to speak up and condemn them when theyre. Facing the downfall, but WHY did they appeal to you in the first place? Soul search 🤨

@everylaurenislemons I was actually gonna mention those two but I thought they were a bit niche. But yes, they were meanspirited and even spoke with the same kind of inflections to their voice. Those two I actually consumed the most content from as background noise, and I knew they were assholes. The Creepshow thing was a bit surprising for how intense it was, but it was still clear she was a mean girl. Wasn't at all surprised with Blair.
Between this vid and the one Jacksfilms just posted yesterday, I am so ready for this deep dive.

She's not doing transformative content, she's taking views from the original creator, and she's not even crediting the artist. It's not borderline, it IS the digital equivalent of plagiarism, and she should not be given a pass for that. Content like this gets removed from Twitch constantly -- especially if it's anime -- because it's clearly not fair use.
She is the kind of "creator" that makes life difficult for people like Savvy, people who are legitimately making transformative content.

I know this is DEFINITELY the least horrendous thing mentioned in this video, but I absolutely HATE the expectation that victims of bullying only “win” once they achieve material success (becoming rich, famous, attractive, etc) and making their bullies jealous. Idk who needs to hear this today, but getting through that kind of situation is good enough. You don’t need to prove ANYTHING to your bullies in order to be taken seriously, and are bullies REALLY people we should aim to impress anyway?
I remember when I was little and she would just keep saying rude things but I was young so even though hearing those comments made me feel gross I shrugged it off. It’s almost a good thing she became boring.
I've never watched a SSSniperwolf video but watching those clips of her reactions was almost unbearable. She clearly puts on some sort of cringy Miranda Sings type voice and is just generally insincere and/or overreacting. It's so uncomfortable to watch
This video summarizes the situation well, however, I think you missed the mark at a few points. You said you don’t think she should be copyright struck - why not? What she does breaks copyright and that behaviour by definition deserves a copyright strike. Multiple people HAVE filed claim against her and DID get their clips removed from her videos. You also mentioned something along the lines of how Jack doesn’t care that her content is on the platform, he cares that its being *rewarded*. I don’t think that statement represents his true feelings at all. He’s absolutely not okay with her content being up and having youtube reward and promote her only adds to these feelings, but isn’t the root of the issue itself.
