their animation is so consistent in their work unlike anime they have super animators to put their best scene in a fight or important moment but studio mir is so consistent like disney back then
There was absolutely nothing questionable with the writing? TLOK is actually a horrendously underrated masterpiece: Book 1 is basically a better written The Dark Knight Rises (12 episodes), while Books 2, 3 and 4 form a 3-part story arc that's basically ATLA in reverse (14+13+13= 40 episodes).

Eastern animation is fuckin insane! Japanese animation is the most popular, but I think people should recognize more Chinese and Korean animation too, cuz holy, they are extremely good.
I agree. The camera not being static helps improve a lot of the feel of the scenes here. Some scenes it may be a bit over the top but it's never to the detriment of the animation itself.
Kash Akinsade It took me a while to put this video together with the amount of footage i was working with but I'm glad i finally finished it. I definitely agree with you haha.
i want em to animate a ninja turlte anime dude these guys are pretty awesome with their combat animation movements and logic i cant stop watching their work
They did have In Seung Choi for a while but he's since moved on. I'm not even certain Cheong Il Han is still with them either who was a major player in books 2 and 3 of Korra. They have plenty of talented staff still but not anyone who's a big standout like those 2 were.
Not to undermined Yutaka :and he is far better then anyone in Studio Mir" but I've seen some of his influence in this video. Obviously not in every clip but especially in season 4 of Korra I've see allot of his influence there.
Whatever my opinions on Legend of Korra, Boondocks S4 and Voltron story-wise (and their not good, not by a long shot) I have to admit there awesome Animation-wise, and we have Studio Mir to thank.

Iloveanimation stuff Studio Mir was formed long after Avatar Last Airbender finished. The original series was done between various animation studios like JM Animation and DR Movie
Mir did most of the work in the LOK. Then they had so many animations to fill in, Nickelodeon gave part of Book 2 to Studio Pierrot, which, we know what happened with the quality of the drawing. I think they did about 5 to 7 episodes in Book 2 then Nickelodeon didn't like how they drew. So they got kicked out and Mir was set in place to the end.
@@Hayan_Yeou iam surprised to hear that studio pierrot did anbad job animating korra i havent watched the show but knowing what pierrot really is capable of that surprised maybe they didnt give korra enought attention idk man

These guys should animate every new western action cartoon
Yeah them flying bark productions, titmouse and powerhouse
Do you want another MAPPA? Cuz that’s how you get another MAPPA.

yep, so many talented korean studios^^
Studio mir is long overdue.

Studio Mir do Sololeveling please :)
They could be one of the studio that might animate the solo leveling
This studio is really consistent. They not only give solid animation for big fight but also every small fight and regular scene.... very cool...

Only if ufotable made tower of god

Can I have One question what studio that animated avatar the last Airbender? The Final fight azula vs zuko 😍

i love in seung chois work
Soo much work in this vids. And great music as always, thanks a lot!
