They need more players? Haven't they bought loads already over the last few years? How about improving the players and working with what is already there?
United consistently buy players on transfer fees that are far too expensive and pay wages to players that are far above their actual value. If you actually just objectively watch United’s players it’s clear that clubs like Forrest, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford, etc genuinely just have better players than United. And those clubs purchase those players for less and pay them significantly less. Pound per pound, United get the absolute worst return on their investments in the entire league and it’s not even close.

@jamesfagan7823 There is no long term gain under this ownership. You're buying players from Village teams in Italy. Lecce. Let that sink in. If players from Juventus, Milan etc aren't good enough for Premier League then a Lecce player certainly won't be. Sir Jim is a businessman and as a businessman the first thing he thinks of is how to cut costs. "If we're going to be a mid table club we will run on a midtable budget" is his mindset.
Changing the tactics won’t change the performance of the players. Winning games in the PL doesn’t matter as long as the team doesn’t get relegated, they have to learn the new system.
Exactly. ManU is 11 points away from the EL spots and 12 points from the Relegation zone. Or in other words, the PL is essentially alredy "over" for them. Moving forward, Amorim should continue to implement his style and use the following league games as "competitive pre-season". But then on the EL and FA Cup, he should have a more pragmatic approach, because those are the games that really matter to win.

That only works if they were doing well beforehand and fell off a cliff. The reality is they have been consistent all season, in the fact they are consistently bad.
