I'm a proud student here at UA-cam University and I just finished my VERY FIRST macrame towel holder (very 1st macrame of anything!!). 😊 I didn't make your pattern YET... BUT.... I USED YOUR TECHNIQUE for attaching the 2nd ring and it looks amazing (esp. for a first-timer)! Thank you for this technique. I'm going to make your design next time. I think it will be easier than the one I just finished. I just don't know what I'd do if there weren't people like you who were kind enough to teach their skills here. Thanks again for an awesome tutorial! 🙏♥️😃

Thank you for the detailed tutorial that went at a speed I could keep up with step by step. I started out with a different rope because it was easy to find at local craft stores and cheap but now I am breezing through this pattern I want the good stuff you use. First one took me almost 3 hours start to finish, now I have it down to complete in less than 2 hours! Love this easy pattern. I even got creative and added a few wooden beads, one in the third row and one third to the last at the other end. This pattern has great flexibility once you get comfortable. Love how classy the finished product looks. Sure beats the look of the old style crochet hanging towels granny made. ❤️

This is awesome!👍 Thanks!🙏😊 Just curious... how many inches of unused waste did you have? I'd prefer to waste as little as possible.
I recently taught myself to knit those trendy potholders using 5mm cotton macrame rope and I thought adding a matching towel holder would make nice handmade Christmas gifts. It won't match exactly except in color since I don't know how to knit those, but I still think this will be a perfectly lovely accompaniment! 👍 Thanks again for sharing! 😊

💙 that sounds like a lovely Christmas gift idea 😊
I don’t remember exactly how much waste was left over but I do tend to err on the side of caution by giving a longer length allowance in my tutorials. My suggestion would be to follow it as is for your first one and then make your adjustments based from there
With the waste I like to make tassels to add to other projects or make keychains out of them.
Or I make pompom garlands or pompom Christmas ornaments (great for bows on top of your wrapped gifts because the recipient can reuse as an ornament on their tree).
Or I’ve even used it as stuffing for sewing projects!
I appreciate you taking the care to be as zero waste as possible 💙
      Happy macrame-ing 🤗
