Very nice. My grandfather gave me a transistor radio he had purchased in the very early 1950’s. Put a new battery, did what you did, moved a few things around and works perfect.
Where is your shop ?I want to know for my Radio cum sterio two speaker Sony company it's buy from Sony world Kolkata now it's sound only from Akashwani Kolkata but low sound other FM not catch what can I do 😢👏👏

Ive got one similar to this but mine does turn on but all you can hear is the crackling from the volume could this be the case with mine too?
Try cleaning the volume pot with Deoxit. Spray inside the volume pot and turn it up and down several times and it will clean the dirty contacts!
